Ares is the current Dragomaster, a title he's held since the age of 18. Now at the age of 28, he leads the Four Heroes of Lucia along with his friend (and perhaps more?), Eris. He is naturally excellent with a sword, but is also a master of Illusion magic. He is quite handsome, with short dark hair, dark eyes, and a build fitting a Dragonmaster.
Update: (Session 14) Ares apparently inadvertantly hired Zissel to round up an army for his unification of the world. Since then, he's been very busy working to clean up the mess Zissel left behind.
Update: (Session 15) Ares' mother was executed when he was a child because she was a Pharos, and the powers that be in Raculi, his home town, blamed their troubles on her. This apparently is what led him to his current way of life. Oh, and it turns out his full name is Ares Pharos.
Update: (Session 16) Ares met Eris just before he was scheduled to be executed, just like his mother. It was Eris whos saved him from execution, however, when she blew up most of the town with a single spell.
Eris is also 28 and has known Ares since they were both children. She is a
beast-person, a trait that makes her very strong and agile. She has dark eyes
and long jet-black hair. Her preferred weapon is a double-bladed
"swallow," however she is also very skilled with Darkness magic.
Black is her favorite color, and her preferred outfit is made from skin-tight
black leather.
Update: (Session 10) Eris and Varemi were created by the same person, who considers the both of them sisters. Eris herself was created, under the orders of Zachary Pharos, to be an artificial Demonmaster during the Nephar War. When Kane was resurrected, the plan was cancelled and Eris's creator crygenically suspended her.
Update: (Session 12) Eris also considers Varemi her sister and says all her "hunting" for her was just so that she could be reunited with her long-lost older sister.
Update: (Session 16) Eris met Ares in Raculi when they were both younger, and after she single-handedly destroyed most of the town with a single spell in order to rescue Ares from execution, the two become inseperable.
