Some qualities are highly attractive. Some qualities are..uh...detractive. Let's consider them both. Of course, the binary of do/don't is a little strict. Think of it more as "more likely" and "less likely".

Do Date:
guys who smile and laugh often
guys who watch anime
guys who like vegetables
guys with attractive speaking voices
guys who sing
guys who wear comfortable clothes
guys who can write well
guys with high vocabularies
guys who are not afraid to be silly
guys who know public transportation systems
guys who give spontaneous gifts
guys who wear trenchcoats, pea coats, or other classy coats
guys with addictively touchable hair
guys who notice nature, weather, and the seasons
guys with some sort of intriguing talent
guys who are well traveled or would like to be
guys who can carry on a conversation about pretty much anything
guys who tell amusing anecdotes
guys who return phone calls or even better, start the calling themselves
guys who walk at the same speed as I do
guys who read catalogs
guys who can make a decent meal out of leftovers
guys who stargaze
guys with cool shoes
guys who can swim well
guys who recommend books
guys with cool t-shirts
guys who are freely complimentary
guys who are aware enough to realize you're interested in them
guys who make brilliantly flirtatious double entendres
guys who snuggle
guys who like foreign food
guys who savor all their senses
guys who appreciate diners
guys who can make a decent breakfast
guys who enjoy shopping for fresh produce and know how to select it
guys who still play and act youthful
guys who like sleeping with the windows open
guys who like sunshine as well as snow and rain
guys who are intelligent in some way
guys who write letters

Don't Date:
guys who spend too much time indoors
guys who insult my family members
guys who make inexcusable grammatical errors
guys who have hair that requires a lot of maintanance to look ok
guys who complain about their bodies
guys who express some sort of emotional distress but won't actually address it
guys who take things too seriously
guys who won't get muddy, sandy, wet, or salty
guys who are inconsistent in their opinion of me
guys who think that they have some sort of indie cred and thus think it's below them to see a mainstream fluff-filled movie
guys who wear too much cologne
guys who chew loudly
guys who hug awkwardly
guys who can't kiss properly
guys who wear big necklaces
guys who don't respect the opinions of others
guys who think a-capella is lame
guys who eat too much junk food and not enough real food
guys with no transportation
guys who stay up too late and oversleep consistently
guys who like guys more than girls
guys who are emotionally volatile or unstable
guys who lie, even if it is for the protection of others
