The Espers

The Espers are an ancient race of telepaths that have not been seen since the ages of the Founders. Even less is known about them than the Founders, however it is believed that they are even older than Mirzha itself.

Besides their telepathic abilities, the Espers also possessed great magical skills and very advanced technology. It is believed that Esper technology was capable of infusing machines with the same magical and telepathic abilities their creators possessed, perhaps even using them to augment the abilities of their owners.

Of all the tribes of Mirzha, only the Technomages possess more than a cursory knowledge of the Espers, due to their lifestyle dedicated to finding Esper artifacts and learning their ways.

Update (as of Session 6): After Demonmaster Gabe, the Tenshi revealed himself in Kathmandu, Savanti, the party was saved when an Espermech piloted by what may be one of the few surviving Espers arrived on the scene. This giant and powerful machine, also known as a "Chariot of God," was one of perhaps many that the Espers called upon in their battle against the Tenshi, a battle that seems to be starting all over again... Update (as of Session 9): The next Espermech was discovered, Alseides, the Espermech of Magic, under the Technomage capital of Torvalds.
