Players' Allies

Emporor Kazehito
Kazehito is the wise, old emperor of the Yamato Empire. He is proud of the fact that Yamato has never had to go to war under his rule, and that the nation has prospered along with its ancient ally, Iria. He is also proud of the cultural exchange he recently initiated with the Chyu nation which resulted in martial arts students from both nations visiting to learn from the other...

Prime Minister Banderas (Session 1 )
Mario Banderas is the relatively young Prime Minsiter of the Iria Nation, the only democracy on Mirzha. Originally a very successful merchant and shipper, he got involved with politics after being frustrated with various shipping policies of the government. After five years under his eye, Iria has had the best economy ever in its history. Banderas was responsible for strengthening ties with Yamato to the north and opening up trade with Dragonia and Savanti. Outside of business and politics, Banderas also has a reputation as a bit of a ladies' man. This is an exaggeration, however. Mario does seem to always have a lady with him due to his good looks and smooth charm, but he is always a gentleman.

King Shezar (Session 1)
King Shezar is currently the third oldest ruler in all of Mirzha. His wisdom is known across the land, and he is well loved by his people. A widower, he does however have one son, who is currently a knight in the royal army who often looked upon Parn almost like a little brother in their youth...

Grand Elder of the Plains (aka Granite Face)
The Grand Elder of the Plains Region ranks only behind Emperor Kazehito as far as age and experience go. A legendary warrior and shamen among his people, Granite Face possesses much knowledge of the land and its mysteries... However, due to covering up the existance of Granite Fist, his illegitimate son, he was instrumental of the banishment of Richard from the Plains Region, a banishment he would later reverse.

Elder Monk Quai Chang Liu
Quai Chang Liu is a master no matter how one looks at it. Skilled in the martial arts and schooled in all the great manuscripts of the Chyu Nation, he garners great respect from all that face him...

Great Bard William
William is the leader of the Bard's Guild of Ustvestia. Writer of many works and performer of many more, his knowledge is often invaluable to those wanting to learn about the history of Mirzha... provided they do not mind a few artistic embelishments.

Elysa the Ancient
Elysa is the closest person that can be recognized as a leader among the loosely-tied villages of Betulia. No one knows how old she is, but she is often visited for advice as well as healing with her great knowledge of the thick forests of this region.

Dominic (Session 1)
Dominic is a Technomage, and it was he along with a friend that discovered Xorn while excavating in the jungles of Betulia. He seems to be quite knowledgeable about the world as a whole, even whe it comes to mana, which Technomages in general do not use, or at least not directly. He had a brief scuffle with Ashmodeel in the first session when he suggested visiting the Technomage capital of Torvalds to analyze a piece of "dark mana" discovered by the armies of Iria. He sometimes gives the impression that he knows, or at least suspects, more than he is willing to reveal.

Kermit (Session 3)
Kermit is a hermit living in Betulia's Vine Jungle. A former bard from Ustvestia, he has quite a bit of knowledge on legends and prophecies.

Technomancer Dukhat
Dukhat is the Technomancer, or leader of the Technomages. He is also Dominic's uncle.

Emily (Session 4)
Emily is Dominic's apprentice Technomage fiancee.

Isis and Denom (Session 6)
Isis and Demon are Ashmodeel's mother and father, respectively.

Kefron (Session 6)
Kefron was Ashmodeel's teacher in Savanti. He is also quite the scholar of history and spent much time in the palace library. It is his discovery of an ancient book in the library that eventually leads to his imprisonment and death sentence at the hands of Theran, after his rise to power. Fortunately, he is rescued the night before the execution by our heroes...

General Leo (Session 9)
General Leo is the leader of the Technomage guard.

Isaac (Session 10)
Isaac is a sage who lives near Monteco in Iria Nation. He revealed to the party the three keys for awakening the Destroyer and gave them a potion so they can go after Iria's Founder. He is also taking care of Cain after his injuries at the hands of Deimu.

Shop Bunny (Anywhere there is an item store):
One of the dilligent staffers of the Ramus of Monteco chain of item stores (and what is it about Ramus anyway? He seems to own a monopoly on all the item stores in all my IRC RPGs...), she is more than happy to serve customers with her unique, er, abilities. Her large, umm, quantity of natural talent, is guaranteed to, er, satisfy, even the most jaded customer. Remember, if you're shopping for high-quality adventuring items, ranging from healing herbs to poison remedies, you can count on the Shop Bunny at your local Ramus's to give you exactly what you want...

Kira Hansen (Session 12):
Kira was Richard's love in his home town of Eagle's Ridge.

Elder Hansen (Session 12):
The Elder Hansen is Kira's father and the youngest of Okra's Council. He was also the only member of the council to stand up to Granite Face and object to Richard's banishment.

Hiko (Session 19):
Hiko is the greatest swordsman in all of the Yamato Empire. He took in the orphaned Deimu and Kasumi when they were young and raised them as his own, teaching them his technique. He regrets what they grew up to become, however, and seeks to atone for his sins.

Sado (Session 20):
Sado is an eccentric old monk who lives alongside the Black Rose Road in the Yamato Empire. He originally grew up in Savanti, near the Yamato border, and was raised with a mixture of the two cultures. When he was older, he was rescued by a Technomage while exploring Betulia's Vine Jungle. After this, he lost his distruct of Technomages and Technology and strived to learn all he can about it to add to his own skills. His hut demonstrates this as it is strewn with various devices as well as magic books. While his friend has long since passed away, he still continues the very Technomage-like habit of archaeology and repairing old, broken-down technology. It is because of this that he befriended Kasumi, who would bring various devices she found in and near the Black Rose Shrine to be repaired by him. Sado also loves his sake, but seems to have quite a high tolerance for it.
