Yamato Empire
This empire is home to a feudal society that is held together by the reverence they share for their emporer and their ancient ways. It is not a very large land, but its land armies of ninja and samurai make it a fearsome opponent no matter how large the invader... The Yamato Empire is also an ancient tranding partner with the neighboring Iria Nation, and this has forged a very strong alliance. Yamato nation is ruled by Emperor Kazehito and its capital is the city of Daikyo.
Update (As of Session 19): Yamato was home to the legendary Dragon Knight Kane, the Founder who finally defeated the Destroyer.
Update (As of Session 20): Yamato's Guardian Founder is Hikariko, the Child of Light.

Iria Nation
This sea-faring nation is home to the best navigators and sailors on the entire planet. Possessing the mightiest navy of all the known countries, no one would even think of invading them by sea. They are however a farily peaceful people, too wrapped up in exploration to invade anyone else - their powerful navy is mearly to further their exploration efforts and for self-defense. Iria has the most advanced technology of any of the peoples of the mainland, and rumor has it this is because some of their explorers have visited the mysterious island of Gineyres. Rumor has it that captains' logs displaying the exact route to Gineyres can still be found in the navy's archives... Iria is ruled by Prime Minister Banderas and its capital is the city of Port Town.
Update (As of Session 11): Iria's Guardian Founder is Neptune, the Founder of Water.

Dragonia Kingdom
This is the home to perhaps the most skilled knights of the entire land. A chivilrous people, they value honor above any other human quality. Their armies consist almost entirely of knights and cavalry, however they also maintain a fairly decent amount of archers. Dragonia is a mountanous region, but the valleys between the mountains are very fertile. Legend has it that an ancient king of theirs that returned from the dead was one of the legendary Founders. Dragonia is ruled by King Shezar and its capital is the city of Kamelat.

Savanti Kingdom
Savanti, located high within the central mountain range, is the mysterious home of the magicians. While nearly everyone has the ability to summon strange forces to some extent, it is the magicians of Savanti that have made it a fine art unmatched by those of any other country. Savanti is ruled by High Mage Theran, and its capital city is Kathmandu.
Update (As of Session 6): Savanti's population has been declining for several generations. On top of that, Theran has taken over all political power on Savanti by way of a military coup.
Update (As of Session 7): Savanti's Guardian Founder has been revealed to be Annette, a sorceress with the power of the element of Wind. Also, Antonius, the Destroyer, is imprisoned in a cave in Savanti's Valley of Wind, asleep, frozen in carbonite.

Plains Region
Located past the foothills of the central mountain range, the Plains Region is home to many loosely connected tribes. These tribes are experts at hunting, fishing, and survival, and they are well known for their skills with bows as well as their close range combat abilties with axes and knives. The Plains Region is ruled by a council of elders, lead by the Grand Elder, and its capital is the settlement of Eagle's Ridge. It is also sometimes referred to as "Okra Land" due to the large quantities of this vegetable that grow in the wild here.
Update (As of Session 14): The Plains Region's Guardian Founder is the Thunderbird, the Founder of Thunder.

Chyu Nation
This nation is best known for its highly studious monks. Chyu's monks are the recorders of knowledge and history on this world and as such they are always sought after for their advice and wisdom. Sadly, Chyu has also been attacked many times by those trying to take advantage of its peaceful, religious people. Forced with no other choice, the monks of Chyu have devised devastating hand-to-hand combat techniques for self-defense. Chyu is ruled by the Elder Monk Liu from the capital city of Leuna.
Update (As of Session 18): Chyu's Guardian Founder is Fafnir, the Fire Dragon.

Ustvestia Kingdom
Ustvestia Kingdom is a land of freelance bards, musicians, story tellers, and historians. The knowledge possessed by Ustvestia is indeed vast, however it's also a lot more vague as it is passed on by an oral tradition, as opposed to a written one like in Chyu. Ustvestia's wisdom may in fact by much older than Chyu's, despite its vagueness, and this has created a friendly rivaly of sorts between the two lands. Ustvestia is lead by the Great Bard William from the town of Stratford.
Update (As of Session 20): Ustvestia's Guardian Founder is Sephina, the Founder of Earth.

Betulia Land
This heavily-forested land is home to a group of happy- go-lucky nature people. Their behavior is very sprite-like, and they are generally a very friendly people, living off the land, at peace with animals and all other aspects of nature. They haven't had much contact with other peoples due to the nature of their land, however, Betulia hides an ancient secret... The closest thing Betulia has to a leader is the Ancient One, Elysa, and she lives near the Founder's Cave.
Update (As of Session 4): Betulia also happens to be the locations of Torvalds, the Technomage capital city.
Update (As of Session 8): Betulia's Guardian Founder has been revealed to be Tuxedo Kamen, the legendardy stylishly-dress rose slinging hero! (whose element is naturally that of Plant)
Update (As of Session 9): Alseides, the Espermech of Magic, was found to be buried underneath the Technomage city of Torvalds.
