rewrote a send_signal system call from Solaris to be a kill() syscall in linux so that the watchdog program by nrs could run on the techhouse rc5 client. httpd:techhouse.harkness.brown.edu in the apache config file...causing connecting HTTP clients to receive what was a bogus hostname as far as the DNS is concerned. uu(en|de)code: we didn't have it...what is that!? Copied from jcn's machine. yeah, the server got hacked and stuff so I reinstalled a nice small copy of Redhat 4.2--we almost went to BSD, but I'm going to run that on my machine for a while first. Just before the server got hacked, I got ph to compile... Just recompiled pop3d w/o shadow password support (due to non-existant header files). Now anyone with a TH account can check his/her mail using Eudora.
