===SUBSESSION BEGIN===

 --Rista is in the cabin of the Arcadia, when she hears a knock on the door.--

LeBeau: "Rista, chere... can I come in?"
* Rista is crying to hard to hear.
* LeBeau knocks a bit harder.
LeBeau: "RISTA... WE NEEDTA TALK."
* Rista takes a deep shuddering breath... "C... come in then..."
* LeBeau walks in and sits down by Rista.  "Sorry fer scarin' ya, chere.  'Dis 
  decision j'est brought back some ver' bad mem'ries 'dat Ah've been tryin' ta 
  get ovah."
* Rista has her back turned to the door... her knees tucked into her chest, her 
  head buried in her arms, folded over her knees.
* LeBeau looks over at Rista. "But Ah can' get ovah it.  No mattah how Ah try. 
  'Dat image will be burned inta my mind fer 'de resta mah life.  Ah know 'ow 
  ya feel, Rista."
LeBeau: "Ah kin see it in yer eyes."
* Rista looks up slightly.. "You can't know how I feel..."
LeBeau: "'Den tell me, chere?"
Rista: "I don't know what part I play in all this anymore...  All I know is that
  I was only a failure... every day I saw people dying... people I had the power
  to heal..."
Rista: "But they DIED at my hands..."
Rista "_I_ was the one who killed them."
LeBeau: "Rista, 'dere was no way 'dat ya coulda 'ealed 'dose wounds.  Ah watched
  someone Ah cared fer get run t'rough by 'dat sonovabitch.  'Dere was nothin' 
  'dat coulda been done."
Rista: "They looked to me...  They looked to me to help them... handed their 
  lives to my care... and I KILLED them Henri..."
* Rista hugs her knees, her body shaking with her sobs...
* LeBeau puts an arm around Rista.
LeBeau: "Ah know ya did w'at ya could, Rista.  An 'dat's all ya can do.  Ah 
  don' know if it's any 'elp, but Ah was scared outta mah min' when Ah watched 
  Bray kill 'er 'dat day.  As Ah said, it took 5 days ta get up 'de courage ta 
  fight 'im.  Ya tried ta 'eal 'dem, but 'dose wounds couldn't be 'ealed.  'dey 
  were too severe."
* Rista takes a deep breath... her voice hardly a whisper...  "No, Henri... my 
  powers were turned against me... instead of healing them... they got worse... 
  everyone thought they were severe... no... that... wasn't... the case..."
LeBeau: "Ah t'ought ah 'ad nothin' ta lose.  Still do at times.  'Dis is 
  bringin' back 'dose mem'ries fer me.  Ah don' wanna lose you like Ah lost 
  Geni 10 years ago.  Yer too special ta me, Rista Larina."
* Rista looks up... her cheeks streaked with tears... new ones falling 
  freely...
* LeBeau looks down into Rista's eyes.  His own showing a bit of uncertainty, but
  also something else.  "Can ya fin' it in y'er 'eart ta fergive 'dis cajun?  
  Ah'm really sorry fer scarin ya back 'dere."
Rista: "B... but y... you s... said th... that you... had... n... no... 
  nothing..."
LeBeau: "Ah still feel 'dat way sometimes.  'Dis fight's bringin' back mem'ries 
  'dat Ah didn't wanna relive."
LeBeau: "But Ah know 'dat ah kin make it, if'n yer 'ere.  Ya give me a reason 
  ta go on, Rista."
LeBeau: "Dom j'est knew 'de right buttons ta push."
* Rista turns herself, putting her arms around Henri, new tears flooding her 
  eyes.
* LeBeau puts his arm around Rista.
* Rista answers... her voice barely a soft whisper.  "I forgive you Henri... I
  can't bear to lose you... you... you're all I have..."
LeBeau: "Rista... Ah know we 'ad a bad past.... Ah know 'dat too well.  But w'at
  say we make a new start, 'here."
* Rista nods against Henri's shoulder.
* LeBeau uses his free hand to tilt Rista's head to look up at him.  He leans 
  down and kisses Rista.
