--You have been sailing on Tianna's ship, the Flying Cat, for a couple hours now, and are 
  just coming into sight of the port of Meribia.  Fortunately, there is also a goddess 
  statue on this ship to heal yourselves at... :)--

* Yuuwaku wanders out from the bowels of the ship to find the rest of the group
* Kodah makes use of said statue, then resumes his brooding
* Galen stands on the bow of the ship, watching the sea go by.
* Marcus is sitting on the deck polishing the dragon diamond.
* Varemi follows after Yuuwaku.

	HP/MP restored.

* A look of wild greed is in Marcus's eyes.
* Selene sings quietly to herself.
* Yuuwaku goes over and touches the statue tentatively.
* Chrissy is looking at the statue, thinking about things, the sea breeze blowing some of
  her titanium hair around.
* Samantha touches the statue quietly, then separates herself from the group somewhat, 
  withdrawn.
* Tianna steps out on deck.
* Ambush 6000 flutters gently in the wind, still compressed into a little pile.
Tianna: "I hope no one here is getting seasick."
Galen: "No... not that I know of."
Samantha: "I'm fine."
* Chrissy turns around, chuckling.  "That's the last thing I should be worrying about...
  I've loved boats since i was a kid." ^^
* Varemi seedily glares over to the side at nothing in particular and, after noticing
  everyone else, touches the statue as well.
Marcus: "Not I."

--The Flying Cat zooms along on the surface of the water at a fairly high speed.--

Yuuwaku: "Umm... everyone...  What are we going to do when we get to Meribia?"
* Kodah leans on the port side railing, watching the ocean pass by.
* Jan is sitting at the stern, watching the waves form out of the back of the boat.
Tianna: "Beats me..."
Tianna: "I'm just giving you guys a ride!"
Marcus: "We're going to sell this baby that's what."
* Samantha shakes her head. ^^;
Samantha: "I'll probably go see if my family is okay."
Yuuwaku: "Do you think we could all sit down and talk at some point?"
Chrissy: "Hehehe... that rock is sure to be a winner wherever we took it.  Though I'm more 
  interested in seeing the sights, I think."
* Marcus puts the diamond back in his pack, "Now is as good as time as any Yuuwaku."
Yuuwaku: "We may want to split up."
Yuuwaku: "Ahh... well.."
* Yuuwaku sweatdrops.
Galen: "Split up?"
* Yuuwaku glances over at Selene.
* Selene continues singing, not noticing the others' conversation.
* Selene pauses.  "Yuuwaku?"
Yuuwaku: "Nothing Selene." ^_^;;
* Selene sweatdrops.
* Tianna sun-bathes on the deck. :P
Yuuwaku: *whispers* "I don't want to scare her or something by saying certain things." :(
* Chrissy looks over to Yuuwaku.  "Sure, we can talk whenever Yuuwaku."
* Ambush 6000 continues to flutter, rustle, and make clinky noises.
Galen: "What do you mean, split up?"
* Varemi gives no reaction to all of this.
Varemi: ".... ....."
* Kodah listens, but makes no decision yet.
* Tianna slips out of her clothes into her bikini and applies sun tan lotion to herself.
Yuuwaku: "Well, I'm not particularly interested in selling the diamond. I don't care much
  for money, but I would like to see Meribia."
* Marcus's stare slowly moves toward Tianna.
Yuuwaku: "Samantha wants to find her family, I'm sure, and I think she'd rather go see
  them first."
* Samantha gives Marcus a look. :P
* Samantha snaps back to the group, "Ah yeah...  I want to make sure they're okay..."
* Tianna doesn't notice as she lies down wearing her very, very skimpy bikini.
* Chrissy sweatdrops at Tianna sun-bathing. "Boy, she sure has it easy..."
Marcus: . o O(She's not human.  She's no human.  She's not human.)
* Marcus wrenches his stare away from Tianna.
Chrissy: "So Sam, where are your folks at anyway?  I hear Meribia's a really big place."
* Marcus looks a little flustered.
* Yuuwaku walks over and kneels down by Tianna, tapping her lightly on the shoulder.
Samantha: "They're somewhat close to the waterfront..."
Yuuwaku: "Tianna-san?"
* Tianna looks over at Yuuwaku.  "Yes?"
Yuuwaku: "Umm, I just wanted to apologize for my rudeness earlier." ^_^;;
Tianna: "It's okay, really...  It was probably all my fault anyway."
* Yuuwaku shakes his head.
Yuuwaku: "No, it was the tenseness of the situation."
Tianna: "But the situation was my fault..." ^^;;
Yuuwaku: "It was the fault of the Church."
* Chrissy grins. "Bet they might be surprised to see you coming home on this baby, huh?"
* Tianna sighs and smiles, realizing that Yuuwaku seems to be too nice to let her take the
  blame for this.
Galen: "Well, if you don't mind, I'm going to find a sorcerer's guild, or even start
  toward Vane, where I may be able to find out more about the backstory of what we're 
  going through."
* Tianna sits up.  "Hey, did I hear someone mention going to Vane?"
Galen: "Yes, Tianna, I did."
* Yuuwaku turns to Galen.
Tianna: "Are you guys heading that way?"
Yuuwaku: "I want to go to Vane." ^_^
* Kodah perks his ears.
* Samantha grins a bit at Chrissy, "Yeah, they probably would." ^^;
Marcus: "I'll head with you guys to Vane once I get rid of this diamond."
Yuuwaku: "But first I want to check out Meribia."
Galen: "I am... dunno about everyone else."
Tianna: "I'm actually going to head to Vane myself, after some brief business in Meribia."
Chrissy: "Why not visit Vane too?  I'm on vacation anyway." ^_-
Tianna: "Do you guys mind if I tag along?"
Galen: "Sure."
Galen: "The more the merrier."
Galen: .oO(Teal.)
Kodah: "..."
* Tianna beams.
* Ambush 6000 puffs itself into a more shrubbery-like form.
Chrissy: "Like you really need to ask?" ^^;
* Tianna lies back down and rolls over on her tummy to get a nice even tan. :P
* Yuuwaku smiles at the bush, then walks over and puts a hand on Kodah's arm.
Yuuwaku: "Kodah-san..."
Kodah: "... Yes?"
Yuuwaku: "Will you walk with me when we get to Meribia...  I'd like to talk with you."
  ^_^;;
* Galen watches the horizon again.  "Meribia should be coming up pretty soon."
* Ambush 6000 casually slips in between Yuuwaku and Kodah.
* Chrissy stretches a few times...
Ambush 6000: *pantpant*

--Meribia appears pretty soon, just over the horizon. :P--

* Yuuwaku cuts his eyes at the bush.
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at Yuu.
Kodah: "... very well then."
* Ambush 6000 spins around a bit, pauses, and makes more panting noises.
* Yuuwaku turns and smiles at Varemi cutely.
Yuuwaku: "Varemi, would you like to look after the bush?" ^_^;;
* Samantha watches Meribia sneak up on the horizon.
Samantha: . o O ( Home at last... )
Chrissy: "I'll watch it for ya if you want too, Yuu."
Helmsman: "Attention please, everyone.  We'll be docking in Meribia in a few minutes."
Galen: "I'm going to Black Rose St. first."
Tianna: "Oh, darn it...  Guess I gotta get dressed now..."
* Marcus walks up to Samantha, "Seems that I am getting a worldwide tour of Lunar.  The
  first time I'm here, and I end up going all over."
Marcus: . o O(Oh darn.)
* Varemi narrows her eyes, looks to the side, then says in a low tone, "Yeah, sure,
  whatever."  She tilts her head up slightly, giving the bush "a look."  After a moment,
  she motions for it to come over with a finger.
Galen: "There's probably a branch of the Magic Guild there, and Marcus, I think you'll
  find a jeweler there too."
* Tianna rushes to her cabin to get changed.
* Ambush 6000 "faces" Chrissy, then "faces" Varemi, then "faces" Chrissy again.
* Yuuwaku blinks.
* Samantha turns to Marcus, "... Hmm.  Seems so, huh?"
Yuuwaku: "Anou..."
* Yuuwaku looks between Chrissy and Varemi as well.
* Varemi is looking down at the floor.
* Ambush 6000 quickly scurries over to Varemi!
* Kodah resumes staring at the ocean, as if it held answers.
* Chrissy blinks once... looking a bit dejected.
* Ambush 6000 places itself right at the spot where Varemi is gazing.

--The Flying Cat soon enters Meribia harbor and slows down as its helmsman searches for
  somewhere to dock...--

Chrissy: .oO( Maybe it doesn't like Dante... ^^ )
* Jan reappears, rejoining the party from where he had been lurking in the back of the
  boat.  He glances at them and then at Meribia's harbor.
Yuuwaku: "Maybe Chrissy-san should watch the bush instead if she'd rather." ^_^;;;
* Tianna returns from her quarters, wearing a pair of Daisy Dukes and a belly shirt. :P
* Varemi gives the bush the glare of death, as if to somehow answer this.
Tianna: "Ahh, this should be comfy enough to travel in..."
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at Tianna.
* Samantha balks a bit at Tianna's wardrobe.
* Ambush 6000 stands absolutely still for a moment.
* Tianna giggles.
Samantha: . o O ( She's a CEO of a company, and she wears THAT? O_o )
Galen: .oO( Must be Teal. )
* Marcus blushes slightly.
* Yuuwaku nods approvingly at Tianna.
Chrissy: "Talk about dressing to impress..."
Yuuwaku: "What a wonderful choice of outfit." ^_^
Yuuwaku: "It suits your figure well!"
* Tianna smiles brightly.
Tianna: "Why thank you, Yuuwaku!"
* Samantha looks at Yuu, and sighs a bit, wondering what's up with him. :/
Chrissy: "I guess when you're the big cheese, you get a lot of freedom...  Some day I
  tell you." *hits her hands together a little*
* Ambush 6000 undauntedly keeps performing various shrubbery antics for Varemi.
* Kodah leaves his brooding spot and gets set to disembark.
* Varemi lightly kicks the bush over to Chrissy.

--After a few more minutes, the Flying Cat drops anchor at the Meribia docks.--

Ambush 6000: *roll*
Yuuwaku: "Ambush, stay with Chrissy.  I think Varemi will dismember you." ^_^
* Galen jumps off the side and levitates himself down to the dock.
* Chrissy acks and catches the bush with her hands.  "Well, that settles that matter..."
* Samantha heads quietly off the ship. ^^

--Meribia is still the largest city on all of Lunar.  From sight of the docks, you can see 
  weapons and armor stores, a tavern called "Quark's Bar and Grill," Black Rose St., 
  Ramus's world headquarters, and the governor's mansion.--

* Varemi nods in a strangely sympathetic manner at the bush.
* Ambush 6000 rights itself, "turns" to Yuuwaku, and then makes a sniffing noise at Varemi.
* Tianna disembarks.
* Selene lemmings.
* Jan walks on to the dock.
* Marcus gets off the ship
Tianna: "Welcome to Meribia!"
* Kodah walks down the gangplank, taking the view in with his usual deadpan expression.
Galen: "Well, I'm off to Black Rose St."
* Samantha turns to the others, "Guys, I'm gonna head back to my house to make sure my
  folks are okay.  Should I meet up with you once you've sold the diamond?"
Marcus: "I'll go with you Galen."
Galen: "There has to be a branch of the Magic Guild there somewhere."
Varemi: *to the bush* "I'm sorry.  I'm sorry but I would have!"
Galen: "Okay...  Come on, Marcus."
Kodah: "As you wish Samantha."
Galen: "Hey, Selene, care to join us?"
* Yuuwaku runs over to Kodah and follows close beside him.
Yuuwaku: "Varemi?  Are you gonna be okay alone?  Do you wanna go with Chrissy?"
Selene: "Sure, why not!  I've heard lots of things about Black Rose St."
Varemi: "Where's she going?"
* Kodah looks at Yuu, "So what did you want to discuss?"
Tianna: "I'm going to head over to Quark's.  The owner is an old friend of mine, and I
  have some business with him."
Yuuwaku: "Something private."
Chrissy: "Err..."
* Yuuwaku smiles secretively at him and leans over to whisper something.
Tianna: "Would you guys mind stopping by Quark's to pick me up after you're done with your 
  business?"
* Samantha waves a little to everyone, and heads off quietly, looking a bit lost even
  though this her own home town. :/
* Galen starts walking to Black Rose St.  "Sure, Tianna. We'll drop by."
Tianna: "Thanks!"
* Tianna split!
* Kodah narrows his eyes at Yuu's word, then simply nods.
* Chrissy thinks. "Sure, Tianna.  As for me... I really dunno.  It's a big place..."
* Ambush 6000 is trundling about six inches behind Chrissy.
Kodah: "Very well then.  We'll find an appropriate place."
Chrissy: "Anywhere you wanna go Varemi?  Maybe we should see about the Black Rose Street."
Varemi: "Yeah, sure.  Anything you say."
Marcus: "Chrissy, you want to help me see what I can do with this diamond?"
Chrissy: "Sure Marcus!  Think that place might have a jeweler?"
Marcus: "I would hope so."
* Chrissy heads off the boat behind everyone, towards Black Rose Street. :)
* Marcus goes with Chrissy.
* Galen is already headed toward Black Rose St.
* Varemi just kind of stands there and considers for a moment.
* Jan follows a short distance behind Galen.
* Ambush 6000 makes happy beeping and rustling noises at passers-by as it follows Chrissy.
* Varemi walks off.

--Black Rose St., while historically home to Meribia's population of mages, is now home to 
  all sorts of artists, musicians, etc., as well as mages.  It has sort of become the 
  "hip" part of town...--

* Galen looks around for a mage shop, or even a branch of the Magic Guild. "I wonder if
  Katarina's allowed Niki to start running business at the Magic Guild branch/shop around
  here yet."

--There is a magic store and a jeweler's named "Dross's" here. :P--

Chrissy: "Would ya look at that..."

--There is also a branch office of the Magic Guild here, at the far end of the street.--

Marcus: "Dross does not sound like a reputable name."
Jan: "I'm inclined to agree."
* Ambush 6000 pauses a moment and extends its holo-projector.
Galen: "Hey, Marcus, sell the diamond, but see if there's any decent talismans in there
  too.  I'm headed to the guild office."
Jan: "Something about it just sounds shifty."
Marcus: "Well, I don't think he'll lie to me, hehe."
* Ambush 6000 plays a brief movie onto a nearby wall.
* Marcus heads into the shop.
Galen: "I'll catch up in a few minutes, okay?"
Chrissy: "What makes you so sure Marcus?  You good at haggling?" ;)

--There is a fairly ordinary looking man behind the counter.--

Jan: "I'll come with you if you don't mind, Galen."
* Marcus looks back, "You could say that."
Dross: "Welcome to my shop.  How may I help you?"
* Galen walks to the Magic Guild office. "Okay, Jan."
* Jan follows.
Marcus: "Tell me, my good man, can you appraise this?"
Dross: "Appraise what?"
* Marcus pulls out the dragon diamond.
* Dross's eyes get very large...
* Chrissy follows Marcus in, holding herself in a very self-assured manner in case he
  tries something.
* Marcus keeps it out of Dross's reach.
* Dross takes out a jeweler's loop and tries to look very closely at the diamond.
* Ambush 6000 displays a scene of a similar-looking shop (albeit with Plexiglas and shiny 
  steel facade) and plays some ambient music.
Dross: "How can I appraise it if you don't let me see it!"
* Marcus lets Dross have a closer look.
Dross: "That's better...  Hmm...  Let's see..."
Dross: "A few flaws in the structure...  It will need to be cut as it's fairly rough..."
Dross: "I'll give you 4,000S."
Ambush 6000: *playback* "Narrator: 'Of all the shops in Meribia, none are more reputable
  and trustworthy than Dross & Sons Jewelers.'"
Chrissy: "Hmm..." *rubs chin*
* Marcus looks in Dross's head to see how honest he is being.
* Dross doesn't seem to be lying, even inside his head.
Marcus: "Well, I suppose I shall take it."
Dross: "Sure...  Just give me the diamond so I can put it in the safe while I get your
  cash..."
* Marcus picks up the Diamond, "Ahem, money first."
Dross: "Hmph...  Don't you even trust that weird bucket of leafy bolts over there?  We
  have a very, very reputable reputation in this town..."
Marcus: "Let's just say I'm being safe."
* Dross hmphs and goes into the back room to get the cash...
Ambush 6000: *playback* "Narrator: 'Though brutally swindled by Ramus a few millennia ago,
  Dross & Sons are the most respectable gemsmiths on Lunar.'"
* Dross returns with a sack full of 4000 pieces of silver.
Dross: "Here you go..."
Ambush 6000: *playback: "Narrator: 'Rumors that the Dross Family possess various
  compromising pictures of PharosCorp executives are grossly exaggerated.'"
* Marcus checks Dross's mind one more time to see if the silver is real.
* Dross smirks in the direction of the bush.
* Dross is honest, even with his mind being read.  This isn't your father's Dross. :P
* Chrissy eyes the bush, perking an eyebrow.
* Marcus puts the diamond on the counter and takes the sack.

	Diamond sold for 4000S

Chrissy: "Four grand...  Well I guess that trip was worth it in more ways than one." ^_^
Marcus: "Indeed.  I suppose we'll have to share it with everybody else though."
* Marcus heads out of the shop.

--Across the street from the shop is the Magic Guild office.--

* Galen is already at the guild office.
Galen: "Been a while since I've been to the Guild."
* Jan not far behind him.
Chrissy: "Hey... least it's better than that check we got.  I'm still sore about how
  things turned out."
*Before he hits the door, Marcus swings around, "I almost forgot, Galen wants me to look
  for some talismans."
* Ambush 6000 rustles happily, oblivious to the information it just displayed.
* Jan nods to Galen.
Guild Receptionist: "Hello.  How may I help you?"
Galen: "Hey, just checking to see what's new at the Magic Guild.  Not been there in a long 
  time."
* Chrissy shrugs helplessly. "That Galen's one oddball, alright...  What's he want some
  weird talisman for?"
Guild Receptionist: "Not a heck of a lot, actually...  They're doing their best to deal
  with pressure from the Church to hand control of the Guild over to the Black Mage."
* Marcus looks over the various jewel cases in the shop.
Guild Receptionist: "Obviously, neither Nikki or Katarina are interested in doing that."
Galen: "I can understand that.  The Church wants to control everything."
* Ambush 6000 ambles in the general direction of the Guild office.

--There appear to be no talismans in Dross's shop.--

* Guild Receptionist nods.
Galen: "The Ausas have always run the Guild fairly... but I'm concerned, though.  The
  Black Mage isn't your run of the mill magician.  "
Guild Receptionist: "I think the main reason is that the Guild is the most prestigious
  organization to speak out against the Church."
* Marcus shrugs and turns to Chrissy, "A lot of sorcerers are weird people but most are
  generally good.  Galen falls under that category.  I can just tell.  Anyway, I don't see 
  anything in here worth getting.  Let's leave."
* Guild Receptionist nods again.
* Ambush 6000 makes some slightly unusual clicking and whirring noises as it apparently
  scans the area.
Jan: "How are they holding up under the pressure?"
Chrissy: "Aah well, I just don't understand them half the time..." ^^;
Guild Receptionist: "Pretty well, all things considered, although they are concerned.
  Usually the Church bothers them fairly often, but they've been quiet recently."
* Jan doesn't take that as a good sign.
* Chrissy looks towards the bush.  "You see something?"
Galen: "Could be building up for something.  Look, next contact you have with them, would
  you tell them that an old 'friend of the family' will be coming back to Vane soon, and
  could possibly help with their problems."
Guild Receptionist: "Not a problem."
Galen: "Ok... thanks."
* Ambush 6000 maneuvers towards one of the Guild logos.
Guild Receptionist: "You're welcome."
Galen: "Okay... guess it's time we did a little shopping, guys."
* Marcus walks out of the jewel shop and waits for Galen and Jan.
Jan: "Sure."
* Galen walks out of the Guild office, giving a wave to the receptionist.
* Jan leaves the Guild office and heads back to the rest of the group.
* Guild Receptionist waves back.
* Chrissy follows along, wondering what the bush is staring at.  "Hmm... this that Magic
  Guild logo?"

--Everyone is reunited on the street outside Dross's and the guild office (at least among
  those that went to Black Rose St.).--

* Ambush 6000 slowly wanders off after the rest of the group.
Galen: "I guess we can do some shopping while here."

--The magic shop is back in the direction of the main part of Meribia.--

Marcus: "I couldn't find anything you would want at the Jewel shop Galen, but we got a lot 
  of silver from the diamond."
Galen: "Cool.  There may be something at the shop.  Let's head there."
Chrissy: "Well, if you're up for shopping, the plaza's back in the heart of the city...
  maybe we should look for Tianna too once we're done browsing. ;)"
Galen: "Well, before we hit the main plaza, let's hit that magic shop."
Galen: "It's on the way."
* Marcus nods.
* Galen walks to the magic shop.
Magic Shop Clerk: "Welcome to Black Rose Magic Supplies.  How may I help you?"
Galen: "Let's see an inventory."

---Black Rose Magic Store Inventory---
Ebony Talisman (Atk+6, Wis+7) [200 S]
Mystic Rune (Atk+6, Wis+7) [200 S]

* Jan wanders into the shop and looks at the items.
Magic Shop Clerk: "That's all we have at the moment."
* Galen looks around for Varemi.
* Jan eyes the Mystic Rune.
* Varemi is nowhere to be seen.
* Chrissy looks around. "Hey I thought she was following me...?"
Galen: "Oh, and how about a Mystic Rune for one of my associates.  I'll give it to her."
Magic Shop Clerk: "That will be 400S, is that okay?"
* Magic Shop Clerk taps his foot a little impatiently.
Galen: "Fine by me... you guys?"
Marcus: "Be my guest."

	Ebony Talisman and Mystic Ruin purchased for 400 S.

Magic Shop Clerk: "Anything else?"
Galen: "I don't think so."
Galen: "Let's hit the plaza."
Marcus: "Let's find a weapons shop next."
Magic Shop Clerk: "Have a nice day, then."
Galen: "'Kay."
* Galen heads to the main plaza.
* Marcus walks around looking for the Weapon Shop.

--On the way to the main plaza, you run into Varemi...--

* Galen waves.
Galen: "Hey, Varemi."
* Chrissy waves. "Hey, there you are Varemi!  I thought we lost you a second."

--In the main plaza, there are several shops: Markin's Weapons, Ramus's, and Arnie's 
  Armor.--

Marcus: "Hello Varemi"
Varemi: "Oh, hi."
* Jan nods to Varemi.
* Galen hands Varemi the Mystic Rune.  "Thought you could use that."
* Marcus starts walking over to Markin's

--Markin's appears to be a very well-stocked store.--

Chrissy: "Oh, now this is more my style..."
* Jan follows.
Marcus: "Agreed."
* Chrissy browses. ^_^
Mr. Markin: "Welcome to Markin's.  We've been a family run business for many years.  How
  may I help you?"
* Marcus walks up the counter, "What do you have in stock?"

Marcus: "Let's see, for me I'll take a Beretta.  And let me sell this Glock."
* Marcus puts his gun on the counter.
Mr. Markin: "I'll give you 100 S for the Glock, is that okay?"
* Chrissy looks over the cases, pointing out some Brass Knuckles.  "Hey neat... I lost my
  old pair last week."
Marcus: "Yes."

	Beretta bought, Glock sold.

Marcus: "Oh, and let me buy a few things for some friends.  I'll need a Cutlass, a Katana, 
  and a Fancy Stick."
* Chrissy cracks her knuckles and removes her gloves, as you can see some metal things
  strapped to her wrists. "How much for these pops?"

--Yuuwaku and Kodah enter the shop.--

Marcus: "Actually, they might want to buy those items on their own.  I'll just take the
  Cutlass instead."
Mr. Markin: "150 S for the gloves, okay?"
* Chrissy gives a thumbs up.

	Mechanic's Gloves sold for 150 S.

* Chrissy puts down her silver for the knuckles.

Jan: "I'd like a set of those Shinobi Shuriken."

* Yuuwaku takes his Sakaba and sets it on the counter, staring shiny-eyed at the katana,
  which is also shiny.
* Chrissy tries the knuckles on, throwing a few jabs at the air.  "Thanks!"
Kodah: "I think I will purchase the Fancy Stick please."

	Shinobi Shuriken purchased.

* Ambush 6000 wanders about, as if it's "looking" at the various display racks and cases.

Yuuwaku: "May I trade in this older sword for that pretty katana?" ^_^
* Jan also unloads his old shuriken while he's out it.
* Kodah decides to pawn his old weapon, "How much for this wooden stick?"
Mr. Markin: "150 S for the stick. 100 S for the old shuriken."

	Jan's old shuriken sold.
	Yuuwaku's Sakaba sold for 150 S.

* Ambush 6000 stops for a moment, and quickly goes back to the rest of the group.
* Kodah stores his new weapon in that odd space he seems to pull them from.

Kodah: "Is there an armor store hereabouts?"
Mr. Markin: "Try Arnie's next door."
Yuuwaku: "Yes, I need to not die in combat." ^_^
Chrissy: "Sure, it's right across the street...  I was going to hit it too."
* Kodah waits for the group to finish before heading next door.
Marcus: "Is everybody finished?"
* Chrissy follows Kodah, looking happy with her new shiny implements of pain. ^^
* Yuuwaku inspects the katana and then sheaths it.
Kodah: "I believe so."
Yuuwaku: "I wonder if the bush can get new weapons?"
* Ambush 6000 scurries after Chrissy.
Marcus: "Then let's head for the armor shop."
* Selene shrugs.
* Yuuwaku follows after the bush and Chrissy. ^_^
* Kodah lemmings.
* Jan exits the shop.
* Ambush 6000 moves clear out of the way for a moment and spins in buzzsaw fashion for a
  brief moment.
Chrissy: "Hey, I think I read in that manual that it has plug-ins... but finding one of
  those might be a one in a million kind of thing..." ^^
* Ambush 6000 continues following Chrissy.

--Arnie's Armor store has an ENORMOUS selection of different types of armor.--

Kodah: "Plug... in?"
Chrissy: "Ah... upgrades... patches... improvements... that kinda thing?"

Yuuwaku: "It needs water to survive.  I wonder if it needs to be out in the sun too?"

  creatures with little red balls on their heads conversing in the middle of a swamp on
  the wall outside the shop.
Arnie: "Quite a bit...  This will take a while..."
* Chrissy trawls into the store, looking at the selection.
* Varemi looks doubtfully that would work for her in an "armor shop."

Marcus: "Let me have the bronze items too."
* Yuuwaku oohs at the items.

* Marcus moves away from the counter an puts on his new duds.
Jan: "I'd like to buy a Spiked Jacket, Shaded Goggles, and Carapace Guard, and also sell
  this old stuff of mine."
Arnie: "500 S for the new stuff, 250 S for the old stuff."
Ambush 6000: "Mogster: 'I know.  And I also know that PharosCorp Clothing is the best
  armor you can equip, kupo!'"

	Jan's stuff exchanged.

* Ambush 6000 shuts off the video.
* Chrissy blinks.  "Wonder how this stuff got here...  I had no idea there were
  enthusiasts around these parts." ^_^
* Jan tries on the new stuff.
* Kodah considers, "I will take the Studded Wrap, the Iron Bracer, and the Leather Band.
  I will be selling these Leather Bracers, this Leather Wrap, and this Headband as well."
* Yuuwaku removes his old armor and points to the Doumaru, Otokorashii Kote and Hoshi 
  Kabuto.
Yuuwaku: "Could I have those please?" ^_^
Yuuwaku: "And trade these in?"

	Kodah and Yuuwaku exchange their equipment.

Yuuwaku: "We should probably buy some things for Samantha."
Yuuwaku: "But what would be good?"
* Chrissy removes her jacket, folding it up inside her helmet which sports a big Flaming
  Hammer logo, which she removes as well...
Marcus: "I got her something already Yuu."
Chrissy: "Trade this stuff for that Edison coat set, eh?"
Chrissy's stuff traded.
* Varemi looks from side to side, tries to get the attention of the man and then points 
  again.
Arnie: "I'm sorry, miss, I'm quite busy here...  How may I help you?"
* Kodah get set with his new gear.
Varemi: "Uhh... that." *points at the bikini*
Arnie: "That should look fine on you.  150 S, okay?"
* Chrissy fixes her odd retro-pharos vest, and slips the coat and helmet on.  "Not too
  shabby..."
* Varemi looks at the rest of the group, "Um... sure?"
* Kodah nods to Varemi.
* Yuuwaku points at the jewelry.
Yuuwaku: "Ooh, that's pretty armor!" ^_^
* Marcus nods slightly.

~Galen: "I'll take the cloak, hood, and Crystal Band, if no one objects."
* Chrissy flicks something in her wrist as a small tube slides out, and she installs the
  shield circuit in it's place.  "Gotta love upgrading." ^_^
Yuuwaku: "Can I see that bracelet?"
* Kodah looks around, "Where's Galen?  Isn't he going to want something?"
Yuuwaku: "I don't want to buy it, but I want to look!"
* Arnie lets Yuuwaku see the bracelet.
* Yuuwaku observes it.
~Galen: "Sorry, I was looking in the back."
* Kodah nods.
Yuuwaku: "It's strange to have a bracelet as armor."
Yuuwaku: "Who would wear a bracelet?"
* Ambush 6000 beeps at passers-by in an attempt to be noticed by them.
Yuuwaku: "Or is this a jewelry shop too? Did you guys sell the diamond?"
Chrissy: "Go ahead Galen..."
Arnie: "It's magical armor for magicians."
* Chrissy nods. "Yeah, we did...  Got 4000 smackers for it too."

* Varemi kind of randomly looks around with a peek of interest at everybody else's armor
  and their choice of armor and then looks at the thing she just automatically pointed at.
Varemi: "....."
Varemi: "Hmmmm....."
* Yuuwaku oohs at the Titanium Hair Clip.
Yuuwaku: "Can we buy these?  They're pretty!"
* Marcus gets a sweatdrop.
Kodah: "I suppose."
* Chrissy looks at Varemi.  "You tryin' to be like Tianna?"
Yuuwaku: "Tianna had bigger breasts."
* Marcus nods.
* Varemi shrugs at Chrissy.
Varemi: "What?  It's in an armor shop."
* Yuuwaku looks at Varemi speculatively.
* Marcus shakes his head, "Yuuwaku, you shouldn't talk like that in public."
~Galen: "By the way, Varemi, I got this Mystic Rune for you, if you'd like it.  I figured
  you may find it useful."
* Yuuwaku goes and puts the clip in her hair.
Yuuwaku: "Cute!"
* Chrissy sweatdrops. "Yuu... if I wasn't in a good mood I'd smack you upside the head for 
  that." :p
* Yuuwaku tilts his head to the side.

Arnie: "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
* Varemi makes an indignant little face and looks back at the clip, but she doesn't seem
  truly upset.

Arnie: "That clip should look quite nice on you, miss..."
* Yuuwaku takes the gloves from Galen and puts them on Varemi with the bracelet.

* Varemi says in a humorously curt manner, "Well, I am a doll."

Kodah: "Now, perhaps we should get some supplies."

* Chrissy grumbles a little, shrugging it off.  *to Marcus* "Maybe... gotta be his charm,

* Arnie taps his foot.
Yuuwaku: "So can we buy them?"
* Marcus looks at Varemi and Yuu and shakes his head, "Oh well, let's go to the item shop."

Yuuwaku: "Oh... did you already pay?"
Selene: "No, thank you, it's okay...   There isn't much here that I think will fit me..."
* Kodah grouses and pays for the item in question.

Kodah: "Now are we finished?"
* Yuuwaku eyes Selene's figure.
Yuuwaku: "Yeah... I guess you're right... awww."
Yuuwaku: "We'll have to go to a clothing store sometime!" ^_^
* Varemi facepalms.
* Marcus quickly leaves the shop.
* Kodah heads for the item store, if there is one.
* Chrissy buries her head in her hands. "Yuu, you're worse than my mom!" ^^;
* Selene blushes.
Selene: "So, are we going to Ramus's now?"
* Yuuwaku giggles.
* Chrissy begins to head outside.
* Yuuwaku bounces after Chrissy.

--Ramus happens to have the largest store in town.  His building his HUGE!--

Chrissy: "Well... how can we miss the place? Damn!"
* Chrissy stares.
Yuuwaku: "Ooh, you have a mom.  What was she like?. ^_^
Marcus: "That's a big store alright."
* Marcus heads in.
* Chrissy tilts her head.  "My mom?  She's an administrative assistant in BDT... though
  she makes a mean dish or two in the kitchen."
* Kodah follows.
* Ambush 6000 sees the group and decides to scuffle into this particular store.
* Jan marvels at the size of the place before stepping inside.
Yuuwaku: "Wow, so I guess working at BDT is in the blood?"
Chrissy: "Maybe why I eat so good... haha.  Though she loved dressing me up when I was a
  kid.. still does too. ^^"

--Inside Ramus's, you'll find more shop bunnies than you can possibly count!  In the back
  of the store, wearing a fancy suit and pouring over some books, is a man with long
  flowing blonde hair and an impressive-looking physique who somewhat resembles Fabio, of 
  all people. :P--

* Yuuwaku notices the bush and idly wonders if it has any games programmed in it.
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at it all.
* Chrissy pales.
* Yuuwaku's attention is instantly diverted towards Ramus.
Chrissy: "Don't tell me that's Ramus?"
Marcus: . o O(Shop bunny . . . Shop bunny with a fluffy tail . . . Get a hold of yourself
  man!)
Kodah: "He either has excellent goods, or is trying to distract us from the fact that he
  has nothing."
* Yuuwaku sneaks over to get a better look at the man from a discrete distance while
  hiding behind a case of something.

* Yuuwaku points to her chest, "How do you get them to bounce so much?"
* Kodah considers.

* Marcus says in a quick voice, "That's right, we're here to shop shop shop."
* Marcus looks at Yuu and gets a sweatdrop.
* Shop Bunny pretends she didn't hear Yuuwaku's question.
Jan: "You guys want anything here?"
Shop Bunny: "Er, umm, is there anything you're interested in?"
Kodah: "I would like 1 Herb, 1 Starlight, and 1 Sunflower Seeds please."
* Ramus, Fabio-looks and all, continues doing the books in the back.
* Chrissy grabs a bottle of Red Bull.  "What the heck is this stuff?"
* Yuuwaku points to the man with the flowy blonde hair.

Shop Bunny: "Oh, him, he's Ramus, owner of all the stores."
Shop Bunny: "Red Bull?  It's a drink to help you wake up and clear confusion.  It works

* Marcus carefully keeps his gaze from wandering southward.
Chrissy: "Hey, sure... why not."
* Chrissy orders a wing.
* Ambush 6000 slowly maneuvers around the fountain, attempting to determine how to get the 
  water that it *knows* is there.
Shop Bunny: "120 S, is that okay?"
* Kodah stores the items he picked up for Samantha in his pocket.
Chrissy: "And some of the water please."
Shop Bunny: "520 S then, okay?"
Chrissy: "Green light, compadres?"
* Kodah nods to Chrissy.
* Chrissy pays then.
* Varemi opts for a Starlight after trying to confirm with the group.

* Ambush 6000 attempts to figure out how to activate the drinking fountain.

* Yuuwaku pushes the pressure plate with his foot and attempts to water the bush.

* Chrissy stows her items away, trying to sneak another look at Ramus. ^^
* Ramus notices Chrissy and winks at her. ;)
* Ambush 6000 *sproings* so that it's sitting on the fountain, splashing its leaves
  vigorously!
* Shop Bunny facefaults at the bush's antics.
* Chrissy blushes for a second, and then acts all casual. ^^;

* Marcus takes a long look at one of bunnies . . .  "Chrissy, we need to get out of this

* Samantha peeks her head into the store, looking for her companions.

* Chrissy notices Samantha, losing her confused expression.  "Hey Sam... we kinda got tied 
  up shopping.  How did the reunion with your folks go?"
* Samantha's mood seems a lot better.
Samantha: "It was fine. ^^ I sorta lied to them and told them I'm uh... going on an
  extended job.  The less they know, the better I think.  I also smoothed things with my
  boss."
* Kodah watches quietly.
Jan: "That's good.  It's nice to see you're more cheerful again."
* Yuuwaku gets tangled with something in the shop and is forced to disentangle himself...
Kodah: "Are we all set then?"
Chrissy: "Speaking of bosses... wonder what Tianna's up to at Quark's Bar & Grill."
Kodah: "Good question."
Jan: "I think so.  I'm ready to head out of town myself."
Samantha: "Yeah, we shouldn't stay here too long.  There's bound to be Church officials
  about."
Chrissy: "Wonder if they have good steaks there..."

* Chrissy's stomach slightly rumbles.  "Oh hush you." :p

--It seems to be quite a popular place.--

Kodah: "Is anyone else other than Chrissy hungry?"
Samantha: "Plus... I don't want to be noticed... ^^; Some of my friends may be around..."
* Ambush 6000 hops up and down.
Samantha: "Word travels... paranoia sets in..."
Chrissy: "Oh right, it looks kinda crowded.  I can always take it to go..."
Samantha: "It's one of the busiest places in Meribia.  We should grab Tianna and split as
  soon as possible."
Marcus: "Agreed."

--As you walk into Quark's, you see three people talking to each other near the bar, but
  they seem to be trying to be rather secretive.  One is Tianna.  Another is Dr. O.  The 
  third is a young man with fiery red hair with white streaks just over his ears.--

* Dr. O is seated at the table with Tianna and Quark sipping from a large mug.  She has
  her legs crossed, ankle over knee in a masculine fashion.  She's wearing trim but
  conservative browns (to match her gold eyes) and dark greyish shades.  Her small glasses 
  rest nearly on the tip of her pointed nose.
* Jan wonders how these people travel so fast.
* Red-headed man is also sipping from a large mug, and he's wearing a bartender's apron.
* Tianna snacks on a grilled tuna sandwich as she talks to the others.
* Dr. O sips her brew tentatively after a break in conversation with them, hunched over in 
  thought.  One elbow is on the table and the other is holding her cup to her frowning
  lips.  It also might be something worth noting that even hunched over she is quite
  apparently the tallest of the trio.
* Chrissy noses around the establishment to get to the bar area.
* Tianna doesn't notice everyone entering.
* Ambush 6000 follows Chrissy inside.
* Yuuwaku bounces after the group and nearly bumps into Samantha.
Yuuwaku: "Samantha!  Did you see your parents?" ^_^
Marcus: . o O(Good god, three of them at once.)
Kodah: "Well, here's a surprise"
Samantha: "Gack!  Er... yeah, I did." ^^;
Yuuwaku: "Ah, that's good.  Are they well?" ^_^

* Chrissy whispers a little as they approach.  "There's that Dr. O again..."
* Kodah begins to sweat a little as he watches Dr. O and company.
Jan: "So I've noticed."

--None of the trio with the interesting hair colors notices anyone in the group, yet...--

Marcus: "And why would they be talking to a bartender."
Samantha: "They're well!  My mom was cleaning the house and was happy I was home... my dad 
  was reading the newspaper... my brother was playing RPGs... typical stuff." ^^;
Yuuwaku: "That's good." ^_^
Yuuwaku: "It's nice to have a family, isn't it?" ^_^
Chrissy: "So your bro likes video games?" ;)
* Kodah decides to take a seat far away from the "conspirators."
Selene: "Are you okay, Kodah?"
Kodah: "... am I ever?"
Marcus: "Video games rot the mind.  Especially the RPG types."
Samantha: "Unfortunately. "
* Selene sighs and pats Kodah's back reassuringly.
* Yuuwaku's ears perk at the mention of Dr. O's name...  He peeks out from behind Samantha 
  and just stares at her wide eyed.
Samantha: "I mean... yeah, it's real nice to have a family..."
* Samantha blushes a bit.
* Kodah flinches a little from the contact, but lets it slide.
Chrissy: "Well, they seem to be really into their discussion, whatever it is."
* Dr. O finally looks up after having a sip of her tea. Looks back down plainly.
Jan: "Should we interrupt them?"
Marcus: "Well, Tianna did say to meet her here."
* Yuuwaku begins to walk toward her.
Yuuwaku: "Omae..." O_o
Samantha: "... We could be really evil and spy on them."
Samantha: "But that's evil."
Tianna: "Yuuwaku!  Did you come here alone?"
Samantha: . o O ( Drat.  No answers today. )
* Marcus looks at Yuu and shakes his head, "We need to do something about him.
* Yuuwaku snaps out of it and smiles at Tianna, sweatdropping.
Chrissy: "Yeah... though I get this uneasy feeling about it all."
* Tianna smiles back.
Tianna: "Oh, Yuuwaku, have you met my friends here yet?"
* Chrissy decides to walk over to the bunch.
* Marcus follows Chrissy.
* Dr. O's face suddenly brightens up upon noticing the group.
Chrissy: "Yo Tianna... sorry we too so long." :)
* Tianna also smiles brightly when she sees everyone else.
* Jan stays away at a distance, close enough to eavesdrop, but not to be drawn into the
  conversation.
Tianna: "Don't worry about it.  I had some catching up to do with my friends here.  Have
  you met them, yet?"
* Chrissy looks around at the faces.  "Hey... Dr. O, right?  Funny seeing you again..."
Samantha: "I believe we have Dr. O... but I don't think we've met the guy with the apron."
  ^^;
Quark: "Pleased to meet you then.  I'm Quark."
* Samantha nods, "Hello, Quark." ^^
* Kodah watches from a distance.
Quark: "Hello, miss."
Marcus: "Interesting name for a person."
Tianna: "Quark is the owner if this place, but you probably already knew that from the
  name...  Tee hee."
* Chrissy blinks. "Heh... cool name... how scientific." ^_^
* Yuuwaku backs away from the group and walks outside the tavern.
Quark: "Thanks, but it's not that big a deal.  I was named after my grandpa."
* Dr. O finally responds to Chrissy.  "Mmm."
* Marcus looks at Yuu, "Now where's he going?"
Tianna: "I didn't know you guys already met up with the doctor here."
* Dr. O is careful not to eye anyone, and her face remains chipper and energetic.
Chrissy: "Well... we met in the cafe in Horam.  How's that botanist thing going for you?"
* Dr. O smiles and nods to Tianna.
Dr. O: "Oh yes. They're very good people.  A pleasure to meet them."
* Chrissy pulls up a chair at the bar.
* Tianna smiles back at Dr. O.
Tianna: "Ahh, cool, Doc!"
* Dr. O responds to Chrissy. "Very well, thank you." ^_^
* Yuuwaku leans against the wall just next to the tavern entrance and tries to calm
  himself down.
Chrissy: "Mmm... well, that's good.  Wish I could say things were so hot with us..."
* Kodah continues to observe from some distance away.
Tianna: "Anyway, if you don't mind Quark, Doc, I really should be going to Vane."
Dr. O: "Oh?" =/
Dr. O: "Certainly, miss Tianna." ^_^
Quark: "No problem here, Tianna.  Don't be a stranger!"
* Tianna stands up and joins the group.
Samantha: "Good bye Dr. O, Quark.  It was a pleasure to meet you." ^^
Chrissy: "It's kinda a long story...  Tianna probably told you about it." ^^
* Tianna looks a bit embarrassed.
* Jan walks over to the others now that Tianna is up.  "Ready to go?"
Dr. O: "The same, miss!" *to Samantha* "However short our reunion was."
* Ambush 6000 stops ambling about in boredom and shuffles over to Dr. O.
* Dr. O speaks politely and well.
Tianna: "I'll see you guys later!"
* Tianna waves to Dr. O and Quark.
* Ambush 6000 pauses for several moments, then slowly looks up at her again.
* Dr. O finds herself looking down at the bush.
* Tianna sweatdrops.
* Ambush 6000 slowly cocks its upper body to the left, and then to the right.
* Dr. O says in a silly little tone to herself, "What an interesting machine."
Tianna: *to Jan* "I'm ready when everyone else is."
* Jan nods.
* Chrissy pauses to get up from her chair. "It says it's an Ambush 6000... some toy from
  back in the days.  It's pretty cute."
* Kodah stands and walks out quickly.
* Dr. O says to the bush, "You'd better go to your friends, little guy." ^_^;
* Tianna thinks Chrissy has an odd idea of "cute."
Jan: "I really don't know what we can do in Vane, but I'd like to arrive as soon as
  possible."
* Samantha nods to Jan, "I'm all for seeing it, I guess." :)
Tianna: "Same here...  The Ausas are old friends of mine, and we've been planning on
  meeting for a while."
* Ambush 6000 takes another long pause, but then blips and rustles as a response to Dr. O.
* Tianna starts walking towards the door.
* Selene lemmings. :P
* Dr. O wonders why the bush isn't moving. =b
* Jan looks at Tianna with some surprise, then shrugs.  Of course being the head of BDT
  she'd probably know them.
* Kodah leans against the outside tavern wall.
* Ambush 6000 follows after Chrissy and the rest of the group.
* Chrissy turns her head.  "Must be so busy with all your meetings around the globe,
  Tianna."
* Jan leaves the tavern.
* Yuuwaku looks over at Kodah with haunted eyes.
* Kodah looks back at Yuu, and simply nods.
Tianna: "Okay, shall we head to Vane now?"
* Samantha blinks at Yuu, but says nothing.
Chrissy: "Oh, hey... one sec!"
* Tianna turns to Yuuwaku, "You okay, kiddo?"
* Jan looks at Chrissy.  "What?"
* Chrissy rushes back to the bar. "You got any good steak sandwiches?  For the road." :D
Samantha: "Hey Chris!  Get me one too if you can! I'll pay!" ^^
Bartender: "Sure, have some.  Quark said they're on the house."
Yuuwaku: "That woman in there... I think I know her..."
Tianna: "What woman?"
Samantha: "Who?"
Yuuwaku: "Dr. Opal." ^_^;;;;;
Chrissy: "Ain't it great to have connections?  Then two, my good man."
Tianna: "Of course you do...  She met you a while back."
* Yuuwaku shakes his head rapidly.
Bartender: "Here you go." :)
* Tianna shrugs.
Chrissy: "Thanks a bunch...  I'm famished!" *snags the food and exits*
Yuuwaku: . o O (Teal and her.  Oh this is too much! O_O)
* Chrissy hands one of the foil-wrapped sandwiches to Samantha, keeping one to herself.
* Tianna looks at Yuuwaku oddly.
Samantha: "Thanks, Chrissy." ^^
* Selene takes out her water bottle and takes a sip.
Yuuwaku: "I'll join up with you in just one second!"
* Yuuwaku runs back in the tavern.
Chrissy: "No prob.  Gotta travel on your stomach. Hehe."
Tianna: "Strange kid..."
* Yuuwaku rummages around in his hakama, then pulls out a slip of cloth and a pen.
* Kodah watches Yuu go of without a word.
* Yuuwaku stares at Dr. O starry-eyed, "Can I have your autograph?"
Chrissy: "What's up with Yuuwaku?  He's been acting real weird ever since that cave..."
Tianna: "Beats me..."
Dr. O: "...."
Kodah: "..."
Dr. O: "..." ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Selene: "I have no idea..."
Marcus: "He's a strange kid in general."
* Selene nods in agreement with Marcus.
Samantha: "Yeah... strange."
Dr. O: "I'm not a very..." *says this strongly and eyes him* "famous botanist..."
* Samantha sweatdrops.
Yuuwaku: "Oh, yes, not many people know of you but some friends of mine do and they told
  me all sorts of stories about you!"
Yuuwaku: "They're fairies." ^_^
Samantha: . o O ( ... Gah.  Why did I have to get a crush on the strange one?  I think 
  it's because I was dropped on my head as a child.  That's it. )
Dr. O: ".... Oh."
Dr. O: "Uhm."
* Dr. O doesn't exactly seem to know how to respond to that.
* Dr. O ehhs and wonders what to sign.
* Dr. O smiles then in her silly way again.
Dr. O: "Oh!  Mm.  I know what you mean now." ^_^;;; *ditzilly* "Hee hee!"
* Dr. O chipperly scribbles on his cloth like this isn't odd at all.  "Here!  Save it for a 
  few years!  Maybe then I'll be famous!" ^.^
* Yuuwaku looks at her somberly for a moment, then shoves it quickly into his kimono and
  bows many many times.
* Chrissy meanwhile, begins munching on her sandwich, and mmm'ing quite loudly.
* Marcus eyes Chrissy sandwich for sec.
* Samantha eats her sandwich as well, but isn't making orga---er... mmming sounds.
* Yuuwaku calms down considerably.
Yuuwaku: "Well, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of each other then."
* Ambush 6000 leans in as Chrissy eats her sandwich, seemingly very intrigued by the whole 
  "eating" thing.
* Yuuwaku tilts his head to the side and gives her a strange smiling look
* Chrissy looks at all the things staring.  "Goddess... you think you never saw a girl
  eating before."
* Kodah stands by patiently.
* Dr. O also seems to drop down in volume a bit... and just looks at him considering...
* Chrissy burps slightly. ^^
* Tianna yawns.
* Dr. O wonders how far along Tianna is.....
* Tianna leans on the wall outside the tavern.
Tianna: "What's taking that kid so long...  I wanna get going noooowwww..."
* Ambush 6000 darts back a bit, somewhat confused by Chrissy's burp.
* Selene giggles at Chrissy's burp.
* Samantha sweatdrops at Chrissy. ^^;
* Dr. O stands up in quite notable not a silly manner.  More like when you first spied on
  her, before she noticed you all. --; She walks out the door a little suddenly without
  responding to Yuuwaku audibly and steps out the door.  She's walked up to Tianna.
* Jan likewise looks a bit uneasy waiting.
* Chrissy blushes. ^^;
Chrissy: "Hey... I was really hungry, okay? ^^"
Tianna: "Doc...  Something wrong?"
* Ambush 6000 spies a dropped pretzel.
Dr. O: "... Tianna....  One last question before you run out." *Her voice is a little more 
  "handsome" than it was a few seconds ago, not bouncy and fluttery.* "You have a phone or 
  anything?"
* Tianna rummages around her purse...  "I have my cell phone here, why?"
* Ambush 6000 lowers one of its leaves and slips it under the pretzel.
* Yuuwaku walks out the door after her, looking considerably more sedated.  He sideglances 
  at everyone and then goes to stand a little ways off, watching the bush idly.
* Ambush 6000 slowly attempts to raise the pretzel while balancing it on the leaf.
Dr. O: "Just curious." *Nods in thanks to Tianna for her time* "Good luck on your
  travels......" *Sighs* ^^;
Tianna: "Ooook.  I'll see you around, Doc..."
* Samantha raises an eyebrow at Dr. O's behavior.
* Ambush 6000 .... tosses the pretzel into its maw and loudly chomps the pretzel into
  little tiny pieces, making loud, clanging noises in the process!
Dr. O: "I might wind up leaving a message on it." *Leaves it at that.*
* Tianna shrugs, not sure what to make out of Dr. O.
Tianna: "Okay..." ^^;;
* Ambush 6000 burps slightly.
* Chrissy observes the bush.
* Ambush 6000 trundles back to Chrissy.
Ambush 6000: *rustle*
* Jan looks at the Ambush, unbelieving what it just did.  Did that machine actually just
  eat something?  Or did it just gum it to bits?
* Marcus turns to Tianna, "Are you two done?"
Tianna: "I think so...  You all set, Doc?"
* Chrissy starts chuckling.  "Next time, ask for some of mine okay?"
Dr. O: "Sure..."
Dr. O: ^^;
* Tianna nods to the doctor.  "Later, then, Doc..."  She then turns to everyone else.  "I
  think it's time we got this show on the road..."
* Selene waves bye to Dr. O.
* Jan starts walking.
Kodah: . o O (Finally."
* Tianna heads for the town entrance.
Dr. O: "I'll see you later then, eh?  Sorry for delaying you!" *says something quickly
  after, not audible by anyone but Tianna... it seems inconcequencial by her expression
  she made, tho, anyways."
* Tianna nods back at Dr. O, signifying that she heard and understood what the doctor said.
* Chrissy wipes her mouth with a napkin. "Well, onward to Vane then..."
* Dr. O goes back in and waves bye to anyone else who stops her with a comment reasonably
  happily.
Tianna: "I hope you guys don't mind walking through a forest on the way to Vane..."
* Ambush 6000 grabs a napkin with its prehensile tongue and dusts off some of the excess
  pretzel bits.
Jan: "Not really.  Why?"
Tianna: "Just wondering...  Some people don't like that because they're afraid of monsters 
  or something."
* Chrissy notices the bush is copying her and laughs a bit more.
* Yuuwaku watches the group and sighs.
Samantha: ^_- "My friends bought lots of weaponry because we're smart like that."
Kodah: "..."
Samantha: "Don't worry about it, Tianna."
Chrissy: "Think I'm scared of some monsters? How about I feed 'em to Ambush here." *taps it 
  lightly*

--After a not too long walk, you enter a fairly dense forest...--

* Yuuwaku stays relatively close to Kodah, but not too close and keeps an eye on the bush.
Kodah: "I assume then that this is the forest you were referring to?"
* Ambush 6000 pants in response to Chrissy.
* Tianna nods.
Samantha: "I haven't traveled this far out of Meribia before...  Least not up this way..."
* Kodah keeps a close eye out for danger.

--In the distance, you see a strange object leaning against a tree...--

* Jan takes a closer look.

--As you get closer, the object appears to be a vintage motorcycle.--

* Kodah raises an eyebrow.
Jan: "Motorcycle?"
Samantha: "Whoa..." O_o
* Chrissy wideyes a little.
Jan: "That guy again?"
Marcus: "What is this thing doing out here?"
* Yuuwaku pets the bush some more and talks to it about something quietly.
Chrissy: "Hey... that's a fine set of wheels... what's it doing laying around here?"

--There is a karate gi sitting on top of the motorcycle's seat.  You also can hear some
  snoring from overhead, as if something's sleeping in the tree...--

* Jan begins to wonder about this strange person he's heard about.
Tianna: "Oh no..."
Jan: "What's wrong?"
Kodah: . o O (Now what?)
* Jan looks at Tianna.
* Chrissy looks up.
Samantha: "Tianna, what is it?"
Tianna: "It's, umm, nothing..."
* Yuuwaku blinks at the karate gi.
* Ambush 6000 quietly comes to a halt.
* Tianna seems quite nervous.
* Yuuwaku eyes Tianna.

--The snores overhead get quite loud. :P--

Yuuwaku: "Should we steal his gi?"
* Jan sweatdrops.
Samantha: "Yuu, no!" ^^;
Jan: "Why would we want to do that?"
Yuuwaku: "Because he's making Tianna nervous." >_
* Kodah sighs.

--The leaves rustle overhead, as if the "sleeping beauty" is rolling around in his sleep.--

Kodah: "Let's just move on."
Tianna: "Let's just move on, okay?"
* Chrissy is momentarily tempted to steal the motorcycle... ^^;
* Yuuwaku sighs.
* Jan nods to Kodah.
Yuuwaku: "Okay."

--Suddenly, something falls out of the tree and onto the ground!--

Chrissy: "Man.. I miss my rig back home..."
* Tianna gaaaas!
* Yuuwaku hops back and draws his sword, assuming a fighting position.
Samantha: "Whoa!" O_o
* Chrissy hops away a step or two.
* Samantha takes an involuntary step back.
Marcus: "What the?!"
* Kodah steps back a bit.

--The "thing" that fell out of a tree is a rather buffed-looking man.  He stands up,
  wearing a black leather jacket, leather pants, and a bandana on his head.  He wears his 
  hair in a pony-tail and looks like a pretty stereotypical biker-dude.--

Jan: O_O
Chrissy: "Um... hello?"
Kodah: "?"
Biker Dude: "Damn...  One of these days I should stop sleeping in trees..."
* Biker Dude stretches and yawns.
* Jan thinks that would be a healthy idea.
Marcus: "One would think it would be uncomfortable."
* Yuuwaku relaxes, arms to his sides, but keeps his sword drawn.
Biker Dude: *to Chrissy* "Oh, hello there."
* Tianna cowers and hides behind Yuuwaku.
* Chrissy rubs her neck.  "Heh... couldn't help admiring your wheels there. That's a real
  classic model.  They don't make 'em like that anymore..." ^^
Biker Dude: "Eh, you get used to it, and in some parts of the world, it's safer than
  sleeping on the ground."
Jan: "Who are you and why were you sleeping in that tree?"
* Biker Dude nods in approval at Chrissy, then turns to Jan.  "The name's Tony.  I was
  just catching a little sleep."
Samantha: "Hey... it's nice to meet you, Tony. "
* Samantha smiles. :)
Tony: "Nice to meet you too."
* As you get a better look at Tony, you see he has dark blue hair, a shade somewhat darker 
  than Selene's.
* Tony looks over in Yuuwaku direction...
Tony: "Hey, wait a minute...  Is that..."
* Tianna tries to get as small as possible behind Yuuwaku.
* Yuuwaku stares straight at him, almost challenging.
Chrissy: "Hey Tony... call me Chrissy... nice to meet a fellow biker enthusiast."
Tony: "Teal!  What the hell are you doing here!"
Marcus: "Teal?"
Samantha: "... Teal?"
* Tony briefly turns to Chrissy, "Nice to meet you too, Chrissy."
Jan: "Teal?"
* Yuuwaku immediately relaxes.
* Chrissy blinks. "Uhh... you know Tianna?"
* Tianna stands up.  "You must have me mistaken...  My name's Tianna."
* Jan doubts he was mistaken, judging from Tianna's initial reaction. :P
* Tony laughs.  "Hehehhehe, so that's your current pseudonym, eh Teal?  Hehehe, you never
  were a good liar..."
Yuuwaku: "Tony isn't with the Church, ne?"
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at Tianna.
* Tianna whispers to Yuuwaku, "No, he isn't."
* Chrissy looks mildly confused...
* Yuuwaku sheaths his sword and bows to Tony.
* Selene looks stunned.
Yuuwaku: "Shitsurei shimasu."
Tony: "So, what the heck is the Blue Dragon doing in a place like this?"
Samantha: "Tony... how do you know Ti---Teal?"
* Tianna pales.
Yuuwaku: "We're going to Vane."
* Samantha wide eyes, "Blue Dragon?!  So it's true?!" O_O
Chrissy: "Teal?  What is that a nick-... holy... Blue Dragon?"
* Kodah's face immediately loses all color. o_o
* Selene stares in amazement.
Marcus: "So that's it!"
* Yuuwaku wonders why everyone looks so surprised.
* Teal, aka Tianna, is speechless.
Jan: "Blue Dragon?  IS that some kind of nickname?"
Yuuwaku: "You mean you didn't know?" :O
Tony: "Nope, hehehe...  She is one of the Four Dragons...  Are you saying she never told
  you?"
Samantha: ^^; "No..."
* Teal continues to look quite pale...
* Jan blinks.
Chrissy: "Well sure she's the CEO of Blue Dragon Tech... but are you insinuating..?"
Marcus: "She's acted odd, but never said she was the Blue Dragon."
Jan: . o O (Suddenly all the meddling makes sense.)
Samantha: "CEO of Blue Dragon T--- Wow, we're morons." ^^:
Tony: "She wouldn't look it, but she's oh, I guess, 4,500 or so years old right now!"
Tony: "Kinda hard to hit that age without being a dragon, hehe..."
* Marcus looks at Tianna, "But Galen and I knew she wasn't human."
Samantha: "And how do you know all this, Tony?" O-o
Tony: "I've been hitting on her for years!  I found out on my own a long time ago!"
* Varemi is brain dead.
* Chrissy says rather flatly. "Well when I'm 4,500 years old I hope I look that good."
* Teal's look changes from fear to rage.
Jan: "If you've been hitting on her, then who, or what, are you?"
* Teal pulls out a large wooden mallet from that place all Dragons keep their inventory
  and bashes Tony on the skull repeatedly with it.  "TONY NO BAKA!!!!!!!!"
Yuuwaku: "Maybe we should not be discussing this so loudly."
Yuuwaku: O_O
Samantha: "Whoa, she speaks like Yuu!" O_o
Tony: "Owwwwww..."
Marcus: "If she's the Blue Dragon, she lacks a certain dignity you'd expect."
* Tony sees little flying kitties circling around his head.
Chrissy: "Whoa, they really must be going steady!"
Teal: "You kidding, I'd never go out with this jerk..."
Samantha: "... I hope when I find a boyfriend, that he doesn't kick my butt like that."

Chrissy: "Uhh... but... Blue Dragon... is it true?"

--Out of nowhere, a pair of very gorgeous women pop in to fawn over Tony, help him on his
  feet, and then they vanish again...--

Yuuwaku: "..."
* Marcus blinks.
Marcus: "Heh?"
Yuuwaku: "Very very strange."
Samantha: . o O ( ...I have a feeling Tony isn't quite human either. )
* Jan decides that he's probably very ill and none of this is really happening. O_O;
Tony: "What can I say...  The ladies love me!"
Teal: "Not all of them..."
Marcus: "Who are you?"
* Samantha looks back at Jan, "..." ^^; "You just want to go back to the pub in Meribia
  and get smashed?  We might be able to take this better drunk or something."

--The women pop in again to answer Marcus's question...--

Yuuwaku: "But I thought everyone knew."
Jan: "I'm almost in favor of that, but then I might realize some time later that this
  actually happened."
Women: "o/~ Oooh, Tony...  He's number one!  He's the world's baddest son of a gun.  Oohh
  Tony! o/~"
Samantha: "... True, that..." -_-;
Kodah: "..."
* Marcus facefaults.
Tony: "I hope my lady friends answered your question..."
* Teal looks very pissed...
* Chrissy looks boggled. "... next thing you know he's going to tell me all those people
  at the bar were dragons too." ^^
* Marcus is even more confused than before.
Samantha: "... Your lady friends are out of tune." ^_-
Yuuwaku: "I think we should keep calling her Tianna though."
Tony: "Well, I don't stay around them for their singing..."
* Jan looks at Samantha.  "Still, I might take you up on that offer.  This just keeps 
  getting stranger."
Teal: "It's okay...  *sighs* No reason to keep calling me by that name now that the cat's
  out of the bag..."
* Samantha nods a bit to Jan. ^^;;
Yuuwaku: "But what about the Church?"
* Kodah stays at the rear of the party.
Samantha: "Did you keep your name from us because of the Church?"
* Teal nods.
Teal: "But this idiot here had to go ruin everything!"
* Ambush 6000 has been busy examining a rather tall specimen of larch.
Tony: "Sorry, babe...  You never told me you were keeping a low profile..."
Teal: "Don't call me 'babe'!"
* Tony shrugs.
* Teal turns to the group.  "Anyway, Tony's right.  I'm the 'legendary' Blue Dragon."
Kodah: ". . ."
* Chrissy continues running the whole experience back through her head up till now.
* Jan whispers to no one in particular, "She's insane."
Marcus: "I don't think I would apply the word 'legendary' to you."
Chrissy: "I guess... all that stuff people were throwing around was right.  I'd never have 
  thought though."
Samantha: "Mind explaining why you need to hide from the Church?"
* Teal gives Kodah a "stop fretting, I'm not going to do anything to you" look.
Teal: "It's a long, long story..."
Chrissy: "'Cept... aren't dragons a lot bigger?  And, yeah, why do you have to hide?"
Marcus: "You know, if all the dragons are like her, that all my worrying was for nothing."
Tony: "Don't you know, Dragons can take a human form.  They use it to blend into society."
Chrissy: "Well I do now..." ^^;
Jan: "I still can't believe it."
Teal: "Well, I gave the order to all the Dragons to hide from the Church, at least until we
  get to the bottom of just what they're doing..."
Teal: "You see, the Dragonmaster, the Heroes, all of them.  They're all fakes."
Kodah: "..."
Marcus: "We guessed that much."
Chrissy: "Dante said your energies matched up to that kid in the cave named Hiro and Dr. 
  O,..  Does that mean they're Dragons too?"
* Teal nods.  "They're the White and Black Dragons, respectively."
Samantha: "Who's the Red Dragon then...?"
Teal: "That would be Quark, back in Meribia.  I figure since you already figured me out,
  no sense keeping their secrets too..."
* Marcus whispers to Jan, "All the Dragons seems to be completely nuts if Hiro and Dr. O
  are among them."
Chrissy: "That'd probably be the generous owner of the bar." ^^
* Teal nods.
Yuuwaku: "Dr. O is *not* nuts."
Teal: "For years now, we've basically tried to just mind our own business and lead fairly
  normal lives.  We're not big fans of messing around in the lives of others."
Samantha: "Hiro seemed okay to me, just kinda young." ^^;
* Jan whispers back, "I'm inclined to agree.  I wish we had some better proof than words."
Teal: "Heh, Hiro's actually the second oldest of us."
Chrissy: "Well, you all seem pretty cool by me..."
Kodah: "Black, White, Blue, Red. That's all of them...right?"
Samantha: "Really?  Uh... well.... er... so much I know." ^^;
* Teal blushes.  "Thanks."
Jan: "Because if the Dragons are real... then Lucia..."
* Marcus back to Jan, "Trust me when I say they aren't human."
Chrissy: "But this heroes business... they really are fakers?"
* Yuuwaku hugs himself.
Teal: "At least all the Dragons that serve the goddess.  There are other dragons of
  different tribes floating around, such as the Star Dragon."
Marcus: "If the heroes are fake, where is Lucia then?"
Kodah: "The who?"
* Chrissy kicks some dirt. "I shoulda never agreed to help those lowlifes." -_-
Teal: "We don't know where Lucia is...  Since Ares started calling himself a Dragonmaster, 
  we've been unable to contact her."
Jan: "Then Lucia is real?"
Teal: *to Kodah* "The Star Dragon...  It's a long story..."
* Chrissy looks genuinely angry at herself.
Kodah: "..."
Teal: "Lucia's real, but like us, she's taken to having a less active role in the lives of 
  humans for the past few thousand years."
Marcus: "If what you say is true, who or what is in control of the Church?"
Teal: "We're not sure...  Our best guess is that Ares himself is running the show, but we
  have no idea if he answers to someone else...  All we have are rumors."
Samantha: "I have a feeling Teal doesn't know herself... otherwise, why would she hide?"
* Jan struggles, closing a hand into a fist.  "If she's real, what the hell is she doing?
  Ares hasn't been around that long!"
Samantha: "... Perhaps Ares played in a hand in her disappearance too..." :/
Teal: "I wish I knew!  I mean, it's the job of us Dragons to protect Lucia... but... we
  have no idea if she's okay..."
Kodah: "..."
Marcus: "In any event, its a human problem anyway.  We need to take care of the Church."
Teal: "Look here, buddy...  It's not just a human problem.  You guys aren't the only ones
  living here, you know."
Jan: "Human problem.  What are gods for is not to look after people?"
Marcus: "The gods should leave us alone."
Kodah: ". . ."
Jan: "But if people believe in them they should be there."
* Chrissy looks up, trying to shrug off her anger.  "I've sure heard and seen enough about 
  that Church... what they need is a real kick in the pants to get them off their high
  horse, whatever it is."
Jan: "Lucia hasn't been."
Teal: "Lucia felt the same as you, Marcus.  However, she couldn't give up her duty, so she 
  just tried to stay as out of the way as possible, much like us."
* Samantha sighs.
Marcus: "Althena did."
Samantha: "This is a huge problem, either way..."
Teal: "I don't know if you've noticed, but all four of us Dragons have been trying to lead 
  normal, quiet lives..."
Jan: "I don't see how this could happen.  With the Dragons and the goddess are real, then
  how did the Church come about?  Weren't they paying attention?"
Teal: "Ten years ago, Ares started calling himself a Dragonmaster.  We didn't think much
  about it, we just figured he was just another joker.  There have been many nuts going 
  around claiming to be Dragonmasters in the past..."
* Kodah is partly listening, considering things in his mind.
Teal: "However, when his forces starting unifying the world under the rule of the Church,
  we tried to contact Lucia to see if she had any idea what was wrong.  She never
  responded, and we couldn't even get inside her tower anymore!"
Marcus: "Jan, its time people and beastmen stopped relying on the dragons and Lucia to
  save them every time there is a problem."
* Jan takes a step back, shaking his head. "I don't see... I don't see how a goddess can
  exist and not try to save the people who believe in her. I don't care about relying on
  her myself, but for everyone else who died..."
Chrissy: "What?  That's just plain wrong... Lucia is offline from you guys?"
Teal: "We observed him for a little while after that, and we saw him apparently use Dragon 
  magic in a battle...  Dragon magic... without the approval of the Dragons!"
* Teal nods at Chrissy.
* Kodah raises an eyebrow.
* Teal collapses to her knees.
Samantha: "Teal..."
Samantha: "... Could there be other dragons you don't know about...?"
* Teal holds her head in her hands, crying...
Chrissy: "Hey... Teal... pull yourself together!"
Kodah: "..."
* Chrissy tries to support the CEO.
* Tony gives Teal a handkerchief.
Marcus: "For crying out loud, your 4500 years old.  Act your age!"
Yuuwaku: "..."
Yuuwaku: "Marcus."
Kodah: "... That was uncalled for Marcus."
* Teal sniffles and looks up...
Yuuwaku: "She may not be 'human' but that does not mean that she does not have the same
  emotions as one."
Marcus: "But necessary.  If you have one of the Four Dragons, a pillar of strength in the
  past, she needs to set an example for everybody."
* Jan takes a deep breath and looks at Teal, but his gaze is not sympathetic at all.
Kodah: "Someone who spends his time trying to figure out how much a shop bunnie's breast
  weighs shouldn't be talking about maturity."
Teal: "I...  I'm sorry..."
* Samantha can't help but smirk at Kodah. ^^
Yuuwaku: "Do not be sorry Teal."
Marcus: "Now that was uncalled for."
Samantha: "... Not really, but let's quit with the barbs here..."
Chrissy: "Sometimes acting like a kid is the only way you can deal with things... don't
  knock her, she's obviously really helpless in this."
Kodah: "I hope I made my point then."
Teal: "It was my cowardice that allowed all this to happen..."
Marcus: "Nobody's helpless."
Yuuwaku: "And what if they have done something to Lucia?  Hm?  If they've dealt with a
  goddess, then where does Teal stand?  And where do we stand?"
* Jan stalks away from the group and sullenly leans against a tree.
Chrissy: "Hey Tianna... don't let it get to you.  You're a dragon... you've probably got
  more strength than I ever could have... you shouldn't be afraid to get back on that
  horse and make things right..."
Teal: "If Ares did something to the Goddess..."
Yuuwaku: "If we are going to stand a chance in any of this, we will have to work together."
Samantha: "I agree with Yuu.  It doesn't matter how it happened, what matters now is that
  it needs to be fixed."
* Yuuwaku nods to Samantha.
* Teal stands up, a look of grim determination on her face.
Chrissy: "Why... I'll be more than happy to show that Church by good old one-two!" *hits
  the air*
* Marcus looks at Teal, "Now that's a little better."
Teal: "I can't do this alone, however..."
Yuuwaku: "I suppose that is why we are here."
* Kodah looks over at Jan.
Teal: "I can't make you guys help me...  Not after all I've done..."
Teal: "Is Jan... okay?"
* Jan's anger still appears to be simmering.
Chrissy: "Hey, you saved our bacons before... don't we owe you something?"
Kodah: "He's... perturbed"
Samantha: "... Understandable... but..."
Marcus: "Leave him alone.  I know what he's going through."
Teal: "If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have gotten in trouble to begin with."
* Teal nods...  Figuring it's best if she doesn't disturb Jan for the moment.
* Chrissy shakes her head.
* Yuuwaku turns to Kodah, "Are you going to help her?"
Chrissy: "If it wasn't for you, I'd have had all those Neo-Pharosians on my hands for what 
  I agreed to."
Kodah: "... a very good question"
* Teal turns to Kodah.  "If you choose not to, I'd understand...  After all the lies and
  everything I've said..."
Samantha: "... Teal... what about Selene?"
Samantha: "Do you know more about her then you're letting on?"
Selene: "What about me?"
Chrissy: ".... Hey... wait..."
Yuuwaku: "I believe that I should, although I'd be loathe to part from you."
Chrissy: "Selene, you were raised by Teal in that cave right?"
* Selene nods.
Yuuwaku: "But it is your decision."
Yuuwaku: "So once you've decided, I'll make up my mind... if you'll excuse me for a
  moment."
* Yuuwaku brushes past him and goes over to stand by Jan.
Chrissy: "Just what's so important about you that a dragon was watching your back from
  those Church goons..."
* Jan ignores Yuuwaku.
Selene: "I... don't know..."
Yuuwaku: "Jan..."
Jan: "What."
* Chrissy looks towards Teal for hopefully some sort of explanation.
Yuuwaku: "May we talk?"
Jan: "......"
* Kodah begins to pace, considering an awful lot.
Teal: "She's the last descendant from an ancient hero, one that goes back long before even 
  my time...  That's about all I even know about her, really..."
Jan: "You can.  I don't feel like it."
Samantha: "Descendant, huh?  Hmm..."
Marcus: . o O(So it seems that the Dragons and the goddess aren't all powerfully meddling
  creatures.  They actually need our help.  This should be interesting.)
Chrissy: "Ahah!  They must be scared of it coming out that they are fake and she's not."
* Teal nods.  "That's my guess."
Yuuwaku: *softly* "I wonder what happened to make you so angry..."
* Yuuwaku takes a small step away from him but continues to stand there, staring at the
  ground.
Chrissy: "Well... I'd like to see 'em try to do it with me around.  Enyo just got lucky she 
  caught me with my gloves off..." :D
* Jan sighs. "Because people died.  Innocent people.  They were all slaughtered and Lucia
  didn't answer a single prayer they cried.  Not a one."
* Selene smiles...
Samantha: "I wouldn't be so cocky, Chrissy.  They're TOUGH opponents.  We can't stop the
  Church the way we are now."
Yuuwaku: "And is death so bad?"
* Jan smiles bitterly.  "Is it when it involves the undead."
Chrissy: "Oh, of course we can't... but I got a feeling or old dragon buds might have a
  few ideas about that."
Yuuwaku: "Ah... I think I see..."
* Samantha strokes her chin and smirks, "... I see, Chrissy." ^_-
* Samantha turns to Teal, "Ideas?"
Jan: "I've laid more friends to rest than I care to ever make again."
Teal: "Well, maybe..."
Yuuwaku: "But how much involvement should the goddess have?"
Teal: "But are you guys really sure you want to help me?"
Marcus: "As much as I hate to say it, we will need to help each other in this situation."
Samantha: "I think the dragons made a few mistakes in handling this, but this is something 
  I can't ignore now that I know about it. I'll help."
Teal: "Samantha, you would?  Really?"
* Samantha nods.
Teal: "I... don't know what to say..."
Samantha: "Just no more secrets between us, okay?"
Teal: "Okay!"
Samantha: ^_^ "Great!"
* Chrissy looks sidelong at Teal.  "How could I let my boss down in a bad spot? I've
  always been on your side, Dragon or not."
* Teal giggles a bit...
* Jan shakes his head. "I don't know.  But... if Lucia is real, if she could had stalled
  the undead some how, given us a warning about what was about to happen...  Dozens of
  students from Vane were killed, and I was one of only three survivors."
Teal: "Hey, that reminds me of something.  Samantha, mind if I give you a little token of
  my appreciation?"
Samantha: "Uh... er...  Sure, I guess." O_o
Teal: "Sorry everybody, but I only have one of these...  I hope you won't mind..."
Yuuwaku: "And if she was gone?"
* Teal reaches down in her bra, looking for something. :P
* Samantha sweatdrops. O_o
Teal: "Aha!  Here it is."
* Teal extends her hand towards Samantha.  In her palm is a small, dragon-shaped blue ring.
* Chrissy turns red. "Geez, are all dragons so shameless?" ^^;
Jan: "If Lucia does not exist, then there was nothing else that could be done.  Everything 
  is as it is now.  I'm sorry for their loss.  I grieve, and I move on."
* Samantha takes it, balking, "Wow..."
Teal: "It's not much, but well, I figured you'd look good with it."

Samantha: "Thank you very much! ^^"
Teal: "Don't mention it." :)
* Samantha slips it on her finger, "Stylish." ^^
Yuuwaku: "Well, you were lucky to have so many friends to grieve over."
Chrissy: "No more shopping at JMart for you Sam. :p"
Samantha: "Hah!  Yes!" ^^
Marcus: "Now that I think about it, who knows what would happen to a mind when its over
  four millennia old.  It may get a little eccentric."
Teal: "Hey, who are you calling eccentric!?"
* Jan's anger seems to flare again at Yuuwaku's words, but subsides. "I suppose."
* Jan doesn't seem inclined to talk anymore.
Marcus: "I don't see any other blue dragons around here."
* Teal sticks her tongue out at Marcus. :P
Yuuwaku: "But I guess it's not something I could understand."
Teal: "Hey, is Jan okay?"
* Yuuwaku does not say this sarcastically at all.
* Jan still doesn't respond.
Yuuwaku: "No, he isn't."
Yuuwaku: "Or he is."
* Yuuwaku shrugs.
Teal: "I'm... sorry..."
* Samantha sighs, looking at Jan in sympathy.
Marcus: "The world has changed for him and he will need to adapt."
Teal: "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Kodah: "..."
Yuuwaku: "He can only help himself."
* Chrissy walks over to the brooding Jan.  "Hey... Jan... you feeling alright?"
* Teal nods.
Samantha: "Let him have some breathing space, guys..."
Teal: "That might not be a bad idea..."
* Yuuwaku walks a little ways off and sits down with his back to a tree.
Tony: "Maybe we should just make camp here for the night...  I think you're all going to
  need some time to let this sink in..."
* Chrissy backs off a bit.  "If you say so..."
* Jan pushes himself away from the tree and looks at Teal.  His eyes are hard, almost 
  lifeless.  "If I wanted to find Lucia, where would I start looking?"
Teal: "Lucia's Tower, in the Himalayan Mountains on Earth.  However, for the past five
  years, not even the Dragons have been able to get inside it..."
Jan: "Why not?"
Kodah: . o O (The Himalayas... how ironic)
Chrissy: "Himalayas huh...  I could jack us a teleporter there..."
Teal: "There's been some sort of barrier placed around the tower that we seem unable to
  crack...  That's why we lost contact with her..."
* Yuuwaku crawls over and motions for the bush to come.
Marcus: "No sense in going there until we can breach the barrier."
* Teal nods.  "And, right now, I don't think there is anyone who can breach it..."
Samantha: "So they trapped her there?"
Samantha: "Someone has to be able to breach it." O_o "I mean... surely Lucia could have
  pre-planned for something like this!"
Teal: "Maybe..."
* Jan makes a gutteral sound and turns away. He disappears into the trees.
Teal: "Jan..."
Kodah: "..."
* Teal bows her head in her hands again...
* Chrissy rubs her head, thinking.  "Wonder what kinda field can keep Dragons out... wish
  I could take a look at it."
Teal: "I've heard about a field like this once before..."
* Varemi glares bitterly down at her dolled-up wristlet and at her tiger-skin boots.  She
  shivers with her own disturbing version of choked rage, but is haunting and wordless.
  She stays more quiet than ever in a situation where she might have intended to speak
  bucketsfull.  Now she knows she needs help.  Now this.  What is the answer?  What what
  what what...  Never mind.  Shut up.  Not a word.  Choke it until it dies.  It was what he 
  intended..."
* Yuuwaku retrieves his bag from the bush and gets out some writing implements and paper.
Samantha: "You heard of something like this before?"
* Tony sets about building a fire.
* Kodah sits down against a tree trunk, wrestling with a lot of feelings.
* Yuuwaku shakes his head and puts the writing implements away.
Chrissy: "Well, if we're camping out, why don't you give me the info on it?  Maybe I can
  figure something out." ^^
Teal: "Yes, from Hiro's father...  Long before the unification, there was a similar field
  that a Magic Emperor used.  It was based on the power of the Goddess herself..."
Chrissy: "Erk... well that either means two things."
* Yuuwaku pulls out his katana and contemplates his reflection in the blade.
Marcus: "On the power of Lucia?"
Teal: "Actually, Althena, but that's a long story of its own..."
Kodah: . o O (?)
* Samantha raises an eyebrow, "... There was ANOTHER Goddess?"
Chrissy: "One, Lucia's gotten it into her head by somebody to keep you guys out, or two,
  she's protected from something even worse." ^^
Marcus: "Althena?  Who's Althena?"
Teal nods: "There used to be two goddesses.  One for Lunar and one for the Blue Star."
Samantha: "What happened to this... Althena?"
Chrissy: "I was never big on religion... but two goddesses?"
Teal: "Eons ago, Althena was the goddess of Lunar.  Lucia was the goddess of the Blue
  Star."
Teal: "Althena, every so often, would allow herself to be born as a human and she'd live
  her life out as a human."
Marcus: "Really?!"
* Teal nods.
Chrissy: "Ain't that something..."
Marcus: "Where is this Althena now?"
Teal: "In her last incarnation, she fell in love with a Dragonmaster named Alex.  Alex and 
  his friends showed her that humans no longer needed a goddess to watch over them, so she 
  decided to live out the rest of her days as a mortal with her true love..."
Teal: "Sadly, she's no longer with us..."
* Selene shivers a bit at the mention of Althena.
Samantha: "... And Lucia didn't do this herself when she realized humans didn't need her
  either?  Isn't that kinda... retarded?" O_o
* Marcus takes in the information but says nothing.
* Chrissy listens, her gaze softening a little.  "So she gave up godhood for love... it
  sounds like a romance novel."
* Yuuwaku sheaths the blade again and puts it to the side.
Teal: "Lucia never found anyone to live with...  At least not after the Blue Star became
  livable again, so she just lived by herself in her tower...  It was a lonely existence,
  but she felt it was the only way to let humans live on their own."
Marcus:  . o  O(If Althena believed that we didn't need her to watch over us, why didn't
  Lucia follow suit?)
* Yuuwaku stares up into the trees.
* Teal hehs, "Of course, that never stopped humans from worshiping either Althena or
  Lucia."
Samantha: "... Teal, do you remember how Alex was able to breach the barrier surrounding
  Althena?"
Teal: "Alex was a Dragonmaster, and a Dragonmaster is one of the only beings able to stand 
  up against the power of the goddess.  That was how he was able to break through the
  barrier."
Marcus: "It will take a while to wean humans and beastmen off of the goddesses.  Revealing 
  to them all at once that the goddess was no more would cause chaos."
* Teal nods in agreement with Marcus's comment.
Chrissy: "Well if this Ares guy going around is a Dragonmaster, betcha he knows how to
  break that thing if nothing else..."
Teal: "We always went by a philosophy of 'let the humans worship us but try never to
  interfere.'"
Samantha: "... Or perhaps we need to find a Dragonmaster ourselves.  A real one!"
* Teal glances at Samantha as she says that...
Samantha: "... What?" ^^; "Don't you think that's an okay plan?"
Teal: "No... it's...  A brilliant plan!"
Marcus: "Well the lack of interference would eventually relegate the goddess to legend, to 
  myth and then totally forgotten."
Teal: "That's what happened to Althena..."
Samantha: O_o "Er... well, good! "
Chrissy: "Hey, it makes sense!"
Marcus: "Wait a minute, if I remember correctly, doesn't the Dragonmaster need the power of
  the Dragons and the blessing of the goddess to become the Dragonmaster?"
* Teal nods.
Teal: "That's correct, Marcus."
Marcus: "How do we get the blessing of the goddess then?"
Samantha: "Great!  So who do you know that we can bless really fast?" ^^;
Samantha: "Like super quickie mart sorta blessing?"
* Chrissy sweatdrops. "Hey, you suggested it..." ^^;
Teal: "Actually, the blessing of the goddess really isn't necessary...  Alex became a
  Dragonmaster while Althena was under the control of the Magic Emperor."
* Samantha blinks at Chrissy, "Huh?" O_o
Marcus: "Ah."
Teal: "Don't worry, Samantha...  Right now, all four of us Dragons are looking for someone 
  with 'Dragonmaster potential.'  We'll find someone, I promise!"
Samantha: "As long as it's soon." ^^
Chrissy: "Well Sam's pretty tough in my book..."
* Varemi has vanished.
Samantha: "... Hey!" ^^; "No!  Don't get the wrong idea, Chris.  I'm not that tough.  You
  need a macho man sorta guy."
Chrissy: "Wha, you saying Dragonmasters discriminate?" :o
Marcus: "Wouldn't that be a Dragonmistress then . . ." . o O( That has a disturbing sound
  to it.)
Samantha: ^^; "Hey, c'mon!  No!  Seriously... I was suggesting... I wasn't saying I
  should..."
* Teal sweatdrops.
Chrissy: "Well, you've got my vote anyway.  But I guess there's tons of wannabes out there
  too."
Teal: "Where did Varemi run off to?"
Samantha: "Thanks, Chrissy.... but I don't th... er, Varemi...?  I don't know..."
Marcus: "Who knows.  This group has more emotional problems that a room full of pregnant
  women and adolescent boys."
Chrissy: "We're a real mixed nuts sorta gang, huh?"
* Teal sighs, still feeling like it's at least partially her fault.
Teal: "Well, on the bright side, at least none of you are ditzes." :P
* Ambush 6000 beeps openly.
Yuuwaku: "I do not belong here."
Tony: "The fire's good and hot...  Anyone want to toast marshmallows?" :P
* Yuuwaku stands up, picks up his sword and walks off.
Marcus: "I think we should be getting some sleep soon."
Teal: "Yuuwaku, where are you going?"
Samantha: "Yuu?"
* Teal runs off after Yuuwaku.
* Yuuwaku turns to Teal.
* Yuuwaku bows deeply to her.
Teal: "Is something wrong?"
Yuuwaku: "I have failed you."
Teal: "Why do you say that?"
Yuuwaku: "...."
Yuuwaku: "Never mind, I'm sorry for making a fuss."
* Yuuwaku walks back to the group.
* Teal rests her hand on Yuuwaku's shoulder.  "No, it's okay...  Just tell me what's
  wrong..."
* Teal follows Yuuwaku.
* Samantha sits by the fire.
* Chrissy sighs and looks to Tony.  "Marshmallows?  Sure."
* Tony gets a few marshmallows out of his bike's cargo compartment.
Tony: "You guys can get your sleep tonight.  I'll keep watch."
Selene: "Thanks..."
* Yuuwaku looks at Teal, tears shimmering in his eyes, "You already have plenty to worry
  about.  My problems can wait till later."
Marcus: "Thank you."
* Chrissy proceeds to swipe a few sticks from the tree and start a roastin', idly chatting 
  about motorcycle racing with Tony into the night. ^^
* Teal looks back at Yuuwaku.  "Look here, Yuu...  I can't force you to do anything...
  Even if I could, I'd be going against everything I've always believed in...  However, I
  want you to know that whatever is wrong, I want to help...  You've been so kind and
  forgiving towards me, it's the least I can do..."
* Marcus sits against the tree and stares out into the night before falling asleep.
* Samantha eats a couple of marshmallows, then leans against a tree, trying to sleep.
* Kodah chooses so sit away from the fire. He curls up in his cloak, and eventually slips
  into a restless sleep.
* Ambush 6000 finally decides to claim a spot by the fire and heads to sleep mode.
Yuuwaku: "Everyone else wants to sleep..."
Teal: "Maybe you should get some rest too...  Sometimes sleep can make things clearer..."
* Yuuwaku nods.
Yuuwaku: "Thank you though... for caring..."
Teal: "You're welcome..."
* Teal gives Yuuwaku a big-sisterly kiss on top of his head. :P
Yuuwaku: "It really means a lot to me."
Teal: "It's okay, really..." :)
* Yuuwaku seems to relax considerably and smiles at her. ^_^
