===INTRODUCTION===

It is the year 3584 AU, and the world is currently at peace...

However, all the wars both Lunar and the Earth have suffered have not made
life easy...  Much of the ancient technology has been lost...

The worlds had fallen into chaos since the days of Magic Empress Sephina, with
formerly unified government splitting up..." However, five years ago,
Dragonmaster Ares, along with his companion Eris, and the Four Heroes of
Lucia, reunited the worlds under the rule of the Church of Lucia...

In the city of San Diego on the Blue Star, one of the few cities remaining
from pre-Unification days, and the birthplace of the Demonmaster-turned-hero
Kane Nemo, a festival is being held to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the
new unified government..."

However, much like the events of 2584 years ago, this celebration will turn
out to be much more than it seems..."

===END INTRODUCTION===

--You are at the San Diego Embarcadero, where the festival is being held...  
  Ares and his associates are all seated in a royal box near the stage.  There 
  is going to be live music to celebrate this day!--
--The playbill includes the infamous punk band Rude Noise, the boy band O-Town, 
  and, headlining, the one, the only, Grim Rapper!--

O-Town Boys: "o/~ All, for love...  Baby! o/~"
Ashley Angel the 50th: "Thank you so much.  We love San Diego!"
* O-Town leaves the stage...
* Galen just sits in the shadows, watching the events as they happen, not 
  wanting to really get involved in the crowd.
San Diego Mayor: "Let's give a warm round of applause for O-Town!  Now, we'll 
  be taking an intermission so the stage can be prepared for the next act..."

--The crowd seems to be excited, but well-behaved.--

* Kodah sags against a wall, having spent most of the morning frantically 
  setting up the thousands of chairs set before the stage"
Galen: .oO(It's too crowded.  Way too crowded.)
* Woman in crowd jumps up and down excitedly"
Woman in crowd: "I just love boy bands, don't you?"  She winks to those 
  standing near her. ^_^
* Jan edges away, somewhat embarrassed to be near her.
* Marcus notices the woman and thinks, "She definitely isn't the most 
  intelligent person in the world."
Galen: .oO(if the music wasn't bad enough, I have a bad feeling something's 
  going to happen here...  Just the mention of the Grim Rapper gives me 
  chills.)
* Woman in crowd grins, unconcerned.
* Yuuwaku is wandering through the crowds, looking this way and that, trying to 
  drink in the whole scene.  It's a little bit difficult with his pack and he's 
  not paying much attention to where he's going, so he keeps bumping into 
  people.. and apologizing ^^;

--Seated in a royal box besides the stage are Dragonmaster Ares, Eris his 
  companion, White Knight Enyo, Red Priestess Alcippe, Blue Ninja Cera, and 
  Black Mage Penthesilia.--

* Kodah decides to go get a drink at the concession stand, wary of the demented 
  woman in the crowd.
* Chrissy sits in a chair in the middle of the audience, giving a few solid 
  claps to the departing boys, near the woman.  "Yeah, I almost didn't get out 
  of work in time to see 'em!"
* Samantha steps into the crowd, trying to politely squeeze her way through. 
  She has a package in her hands, and she scans the crowd, searching for 
  someone.
Jan: "They just couldn't find better entertainment could they...."
* Marcus continues to walk through the crowd, taking note of everything looks 
  like he's . . . searching."

--A strange man bumps into Marcus--

Woman in crowd: *to Chrissy* "Ooh!  Well, I'd say a festival like this is 
  worth a day off!  What a day, eh?"
Man: "Oh, excuse me..."
Marcus: "Yeah . . ."

--The man is wearing a coat with a strange geometric shape on the lapel.--

Man: "Excuse me...  Mind if I ask you a question?"
Yuuwaku: "This is so... amazing... so many people...."
* Kodah acquires a bottle of water and heads back to the seat, intent on 
  enjoying the show before he has to help clean up afterwards.
Marcus: "If you must, I am in a hurry."
* Galen shakes his head as he talks to himself, "This Dragonmaster and 
  heroes...  Were they really necessary?"
* Samantha bumps into someone, and erks, "Ah... excuse me! ^^;"
Man: "This won't take long...  Anyway, what do you want?"
Marcus: "Excuse me?"
* Chrissy sighs, and ruffles her titanium hair once.  "Oooh yeah.  I need the 
  time off..."
Yuuwaku: "... .... Being around so many people is very hot."
* Jan finds another place to sit and reclines in the chair.
Man: "Oh, sorry, I didn't introduce myself.  My name is Morden, and my 
  associates are looking for recruits to join their association.  You may have 
  heard of them.  They're called the 'Neo Pharosians.'"
Woman in crowd: "What do you do, miss, if I might ask?"
* Kodah worms his way through the crowd, trying not to lose his drink.
Marcus: "I'm sorry, I haven't heard of that group."
* Samantha bumps into yet ANOTHER person, "Gah!  Damn it all... ;_; I'm so 
  never going to find a...* blinks* I.P. Freely?  What?" O_o
* Galen just watches the crowd from the shadows... still getting a bad 
  feeling.
* Samantha blinks a few times at the package tag. O_o
* Kodah is bumped by Samantha, and is now wearing his drink.
Morden: "Well, they kind of faded out after the Great War 2,500 years ago.  
  However, they're growing strong again, and they hired me as their 
  representative.  So, are you interested?"
* Yuuwaku tries to figure out how it is he'd go about finding a seat...
* Samantha blinks, "Gah!  Sorry sir!  I uh... didn't see you..." ^^

--There seems to be a few spare seats in the area of Samantha, Kodah, etc. :P--

Kodah: "... Whatever.  Just be more careful, OK?"
Samantha: "Er... yeah... sorry..."
Marcus: "You bump into me and ask me to join a group of people I know little 
  about.  I have no intention of doing so."
Morden: "Very well.  Perhaps another time, then."
* Morden walks off...
* Yuuwaku goes over and taps Jan on the shoulder.
* Samantha mumbles to herself and sits down, "Might as well watch the show 
  since I'm stuck with a package.  I.P. Freely my behind..."  -_-;
Yuuwaku: "Anou..." ^^;
* Marcus continues walking.
* Kodah wipes his face with his hand and slumps down into a chair (one of the 
  few empty seats).
* Jan glances over his shoulder at Yuuwaku.  "Yes?"
* Chrissy slides her loose blue vest-jacket down from her shoulders a bit, and 
  has a soda or two, obviously relaxing and not bothered by the crowds much.  
  "I'm just glad I caught the end of Rude Noise's act... darn motorcycle broke 
  down on the way here."
* Galen shoots Morden a look, catching eye of the Neo Pharosian emblem.  "If 
  my history serves me correctly," he thinks to himself, not finishing his 
  thought."
Yuuwaku: "Is there any particular place one is supposed to sit here...?" ^_^;
Jan: "Not really.  I think there was originally, but now it's a free for all."
Jan: "Sit wherever you want."
Yuuwaku: "Aa... do you mind if I sit there?"
* Yuuwaku indicates the seat next to Jan.
* Jan grins and shakes his head. "Nah... go right ahead."
Yuuwaku: "Arigatou gozaimasu.  Thank you." ^_^
Kodah: . o O (I'm still thirsty)
* Samantha huffs and pries open the package a bit, pulling out an apple and 
  munching on it in a displeased manner.
* Yuuwaku bows politely and then sits, pulling his pack in front of his seat 
  where it floats rather pathetically about an inch above the ground...
Chrissy: "I dunno about that Grim guy though... is that really music or just 
  yelling?" *to the woman*
* Samantha raises her eyebrow, noticing Yuuwaku's pack floating rather lazily 
  off the ground.
* Yuuwaku proceeds to space out.
* Kodah opens a program to see who's still going to play today.

--There appears to be some activity on the stage now...--

Yuuwaku: . o O (Focus.... inner calm....)
* Woman in crowd peers curiously.
San Diego Mayor: "Ladies and gentlemen, before we get on with the next act, I'm 
  pleased to present Dragonmaster Ares and the Heroes of Lucia!"
* Marcus gazes over to the stage.
* Jan sighs.
Galen: .oO(I still fail to see their usefulness in this time.)
San Diego Mayor: "First, a man who needs no introduction, Dragonmaster Ares!"
Woman in crowd: *to Chrissy* "I don't know... sounds like yelling, but what do 
  I know? *titters* I'm no music conaisseur."
* Yuuwaku blinks a couple times and returns his attention to the stage.
* Samantha looks at Eris, "... She's got nice hair..."
Galen: .oO(Where were they when Radoria was running amok, anyway?)
* Kodah squirms uncomfortably for a moment, then sits forward, watching the 
  Dragonmaster carefully.
* Ares walks onto the stage in full Dragonmaster armor, his cape billowing in 
  the breeze.
* Woman in crowd's eyes go wide at the introduction of Ares, her mouth forming 
  a round O.
* Marcus looks away and thinks, "Bother them, they're just figure heads."
* Ares waves calmly at the crowd.
* Galen mumbles, "Well, doesn't he look heroic...  Yeah, right."
San Diego Mayor: "Next, Ares's second in command, Eris!
Woman in crowd: "He's so... handsome!"
Marcus: *something itches at the back of Marcus' mind and he looks toward 
  Galen for moment.
Yuuwaku: "..."
* Yuuwaku turns to Jan and points at the stage, "Who are they?"
* Galen is hidden pretty well in shadows.
* Kodah takes nil interest in Eris, concentrating solely on Ares.
* Eris walks into the stage, wearing a skin-tight leather outfit.  She has long 
  dark hair, dark eyes and pointy ears, as if she's a beast-person.  She 
  carries her weapon, a dual-bladed swallow, at her side...
* Jan looks strangely at Yuuwaku. "You mean you really don't know?"
Yuuwaku: ^_^;
Yuuwaku: "I've been living a rather secluded life."
* Chrissy looks to the stage as Ares comes out, followed by Eris.  "Oh hey, the 
  heroes...  Those two are quite a pair aren't they?"
Yuuwaku: "Sorry." ^_^;
Kodah: "..."
Jan: "They're champions of sorts, supposed to be working for the Goddess."
Yuuwaku: "Althena?"
San Diego Mayor: "Next, the most skilled swordsperson in the land, White Knight 
  Enyo, Captain of Lucia's Guard!"
Jan: "...  No...  Lucia."
Yuuwaku: "Oh!  Right!" ^_^
* Yuuwaku claps his hands.
* Galen watches the whole mess going on.  "What use do these so-called heroes 
  serve?"  He mumbles to himself, "There's not been a major threat since 
  Lizzareth Pharos."
* Enyo walks out, wearing her white armor.
Jan: "I really don't know why they come to events like these.  If they're 
  champions... you'd think they'd be busy protecting."
San Diego Mayor: "Next, the leader of the religious wing of the Church of 
  Lucia, Red Priestess Alcippe!"
Yuuwaku: "Is the world very dangerous?"
* Samantha finishes her apple, and her eyes roam the area for a slick, shiny 
  beautiful garbage can.
* Woman in crowd nods.  "They're sooo impressive. I wish I could just shake one 
  of the heroes' hands..."
Marcus: *Again, Marcus feels that itch at the back of his mind and looks in 
  Galen's direction.*
* Alcippe walks out, wearing her flowing red robes...
* Jan chuckles and leans back in his seat. "Depends on where you go.  Should 
  be safe enough around here."
Yuuwaku: "Do you know where it is dangerous?"
* Kodah slides a glance at Jan for saying then, then returns his attention to 
  the stage.
San Diego Mayor: "Next, leader of the Church's intelligence and covert 
  operations division, Blue Ninja Cera!"
* Cera walks out, wearing a deep blue ninja's suit, complete with mask 
  obscuring the lower half of her face.  Her hair, however, blows freely in 
  the wind...
Jan: "Out in the wilderness... in the ruins... places where people rarely go.  
  Those places can be dangerous.  It could be dangerous in the city too, but 
  I'm less familiar with that."
San Diego Mayor: "Finally, the greatest sorceress on both worlds, Black Mage 
  Penthesilia!"
* Galen shakes his head slowly.  "What a load of BS," he thinks to himself, "If 
  you ask me, these heroes are nothing more than a convenient way to put a 
  stranglehold on the two worlds, but then again, who am I to say yet?"
* Penthesilia walks out, carrying her cane in one arm, her flowing black robes 
  on her body..."
Samantha: "... These people have weird names..." O_o
San Diego Mayor: "Now, one last round of applause for the Heroes of Lucia!"

--The crowd roars in applause (for the most part)!--

* Marcus fails to clap.
* Chrissy scratches her head, sweatdropping.  "I don't know about how 
  impressive they are, but hey, I kinda work for em." ^^;
* Kodah applauds lightly and without enthusiasm.
Galen: *mumbles* "We'll see who the most powerful sorcerer is in this world, 
  soon enough."
* Samantha claps politely.
* Chrissy claps.
* Galen just watches the so called "heroes" through narrowed eyes, not buying 
  this bit one bit.
San Diego: "And now, what you've all been waiting for, I'm proud to present, 
  the Grim Rapper!"
* Jan groans and covers his eyes with one hand.
* Grim Rapper walks out on the stage, with his trademark scythe and hooded 
  cloak.
Samantha: "Oh god...  Not that...  My little brother listens to this
enough..." O_o
Galen: "Where's Raven when I need her?  This is going to suck."
* Samantha covers her face with both hands.
* Kodah stifles a yawn.
Grim Rapper: "How ya be, San Diego!?  Damn -- that sheeit is dope!"
* Yuuwaku's attention gets pulled back from the crowd to the stage.
* Marcus thinks, "Anybody who likes him needs to be removed from the gene 
  pool."
Grim Rapper: "Let's start things off wiff muh newest hit, 'Bro'thah'OJ Be 
  Still Innocent'!  Yo yo ma.  Sheeeit."
Yuuwaku: "Is he very bad?" O_o
* Samantha looks at Yuuwaku, "Yes."
Galen: "How I wish Raven would show up and make mince meat of him."
* Grim Rapper starts busting some phunky rhymes on the stage.
* Chrissy taps a small spot under her vest. "Hey Dante, if my ears start 
  bleeding, permission to run audio distortion autonomously...."
Jan: "Unfortunately."

--Suddenly, screams of terror can be heard from the back of the crowd!--

* Jan perked up and looks in that direction.
* Samantha gracks and turns around in her chair quickly, "What?!" O_o
* Kodah jumps at the sound.
* Galen checks out the direction of the screams.
Grim Rapper: "Aww nahh, not ag'in, just like mammy..."
Marcus: *Being near the back, Marcus looks around.*

--Some members of local street gangs are assaulting the festival!--

* Chrissy blinks. "Huh... that doesn't sound like part of his song..."
Kodah: "Aw... crud."
Samantha: "... Oh dear..."
* Jan wonders where the police are in all this.
* Marcus mutters, "All this power and they can't even prevent a simple crime as 
  this."
Jan: "Dammit, I though they had a good sense of crowd control around here."
* Yuuwaku looks around, confused by the commotion.

--The police, along with the Heroes, start going after quite a few members of 
  the gangs, but they're soundly outnumbered.--
	
Chrissy: "Well, cripes.  Couldn't they buy a ticket like everyone else?"
Yuuwaku: "...."
Kodah: . o O (Cripes)
* Jan looks at Yuuwaku. "You might want to consider moving.

===CUT SCENE!===

--Ares is confronted by one of the members of the gang...--
Ares: "You have no idea what kind of trouble you're in, do you..."

	Ares casts Sword Dance!

Ares: "Time to meet your maker!"

	Ares attacks the gang banger with a flurry of attacks!
	Gang Banger suffers 9999 damage and is no more!

===END CUT SCENE===

* Galen thinks rather loudly this time beginning a spell.  "Cripes... if it 
  ain't one thing it's two.  Look, pal, I know you know where I am.  You've 
  got a sorcerer on your side.  Just don't let anyone know I'm here till I 
  finish my spell."
* Marcus looks directly at Galen even though he can't see him.
* Marcus slowly walks towards Galen ignoring the action behind him.

===CUT SCENE!===

--Eris is confronted by several members of the gang...--

* Eris licks her fangs...  "I haven't had a good fight in a while...  This 
  should be... fun!"
* Eris picks up her swallow and prepares to attack...

	Eris casts Duel of the Fates!
	Eris's swallow glows bright orange as she delivers a double slash to all the 
	gang members!"
	All gang members suffer 9999 damage and are defeated!
	
===END CUT SCENE!===

* Yuuwaku draws his sakaba and stands ready.

--All around the fair grounds, all the Heroes are doing their best to handle 
  the large number of gang members storming the facility!--
--Suddenly, the area where you all happen to be is attacked!--

===COMBAT!===

Marcus: "Dammit!"
Samantha: "Shoot!"
Samantha: "Can't you people just go tip some cows or something!?"
* Chrissy puts down her soda and stands from her seat, buttoning her jacket up. 
  "Well so much for my day off..."
* Kodah snarls and joins the brawl, as he seems to pull a staff literally from 
  a distortion in the air!
* Galen narrows his eyes as he concentrates on the spell at hand.  Still hidden 
  by shadows, his right hand is surrounded by black fire as he begins his 
  incantation silently.
Samantha: "... Sigh." -_-;
Kodah: "Three Blood Wolves in front, four Crip Keepers in back.  Easy 
  pickin's."
* Yuuwaku stares at the gang members grimly, not moving from his stance.
* Samantha reaches into her backpack and pulls out a small training sword, 
  "This is not a day to mess with me..."
* Marcus removes a handgun from his coat but the look on his face says that 
  isn't his only weapon.
* Jan stands and reaches in his jacket.  Shurikens appear in his hand.
Galen: .oO(Remember what I said, pal.  No one knows my location till I finish 
  my spell.)
* Kodah slides into the front row, staff held in an offensive position.
* Chrissy hops over her chair, and takes the forefront, putting up her dukes.
* Samantha steps into the front, leveling her sword at the opposition.
* Jan stays in the back, lining up a shot.
Chrissy: "You little troublemakers...  Didn't I send you boys running last time 
  you tried messing with my place?" ;)
* Marcus whispers to the man next to him who has been thinking so loudly, "You 
  should learn to be quieter if you wish to remain hidden."
* Kodah notes Chrissy suddenly moving into position on his left, and shirks 
  away a bit, before turning his attention back to the battle.
* Yuuwaku remains in the front and prepares to attack.
* Samantha notices all the random people fighting with her, "Um...  Hi." O_o

	Marcus casts Snap Shot on Blood Wolf A!

* Marcus pulls a quick shot on one of the Blood Wolves.

	Blood Wolf A suffers 26 damage!

* Galen, from the shadows,begins to word his spell.  His words reverberate 
  through the entire area as he chants the spell, yet he remains somewhat 
  hidden.  "Heed me now, black flames of Hades.  Rise up from the deepest 
  recesses of the pits of darkness and become my sword.  Consume those fools 
  oppose me with your fury."
Marcus: "Dramatic aren't you."

	Yuuwaku attacks Blood Wolf A!
	First attack... 25 damage!

* Yuuwaku takes a deep breath and then runs at the blood wolf, slashing with 
  his sword.

	Second attack...  25 damage!
	Kodah attacks Blood Wolf A!

* Kodah dashes forward, sweeps the first Blood Wolf with his leg, then slams 
  down on his head with the staff!

	First attack...  23 damage...
	Second attack...  Blood Wolf dodges!

* Chrissy looks around quickly, and whispers to noone in particular.  "... 
  Engage passive mode.  Analyze bioenergies of the people nearby, and 
	synchronize to 100%."
* Kodah curses and leaps back to the group.

	Jan attacks Blood Wolf A!

* Galen whispers to Marcus, "A bit, but those are the words of the spell."
* Jan throws a pair of shurikens at the beast!

	First attack...  22 damage!
	Second attack...  18 damage!
	Samantha attacks Blood Wolf A!

* Yuuwaku tightens the grip on his sword.  His eyes dart back and forth between 
  the enemies surrounding the group.

	First attack...  30 damage!  Blood Wolf A is a bloody mess!

* Samantha rushes forward, delivering a quick, slashing strike at the Blood 
  Wolf's side!
Samantha: "Hah!  Serves you right!"

	Second attack on Blood Wolf B...  32 damage!

Samantha: "And take that too!"
* Samantha sprints back to the group!
* Yuuwaku blinks, noticing that Samantha killed one of the wolves and watches 
  her sprint back.

	Blood Wolf B attacks Kodah!

Chrissy: *soft, muffled male voice* "Processing directive..."

	Kodah is hit for 2 damage.

* Kodah urfs, and growls at the Wolf.

	Blood Wolf C attacks Samantha!
	Samantha is hit for 6 damage!

* Samantha raises her sword to parry the attack, but winces as it bites her 
  arm, "Eh..."
* Chrissy turns her attention back to the fight.  "What a motley crew we've got 
  here alright...  Let's show them how to rumble!"

	Crip Keeper A pulls a pistol out and fires at Yuuwaku!

Yuuwaku: O_o
* Yuuwaku attempts to duck

	Yuuwaku is hit for 16 damage. :(

* Yuuwaku stumbles back...  "Ow..."

	Crip Keeper B fires a shot at Marcus!

Samantha: "Hey... mister with the funny floating pack... are you okay?" O_o

	Marcus is hit for 6 damage.

* Yuuwaku closes his eyes, forcing himself to take even breaths.

	Crip Keeper C fires a shot at Jan.
	Jan is hit for 14 damage.

* Yuuwaku opens them again and nods to Samantha, giving her a slight smile.
* Jan reels back and winces.

	Crip Keeper casts HP Mug on Marcus!
	Crip Keeper beats on Marcus until he relinquishes some HP!

Yuuwaku: "There will be no dishonor in dying here..."

	Marcus loses 12 HP.  Crip Keeper D recovers 12 HP.

* Samantha overhears Yuuwaku,  "Hey!  Positive thinking here, okay?"
* Chrissy looks at Yuuwaku.  "Dying to street punks?  No way in hell."
* Kodah rolls his eyes at Yuuwaku.
* Jan pulls away a glove covered in blood.  "You're worried about dishonor 
  right now?"
Jan: "I think we've got more important things."

	From out of the shadows, Galen casts Venom on Crip Keeper A!

* Galen points his flame enshrouded hand at Crip Keeper A, as black flames 
  shoot up from the ground below the gangster and consume him in the fires of 
  hell itself.  "VENOM!"
* Yuuwaku almost starts to laugh but winces a little from the pain instead.

	Crip Keeper A suffers 26 damage!

Marcus: "Well, that was . . . overstated."

	Galen joins the party in the back row...

* Galen then steps from the shadows, revealing a white haired, slim, yet 
  muscular, sorcerer, wearing a normal cloak with four talismans on his person: 
	at his neck, belt and on both wrists.
Kodah: . o O (What the hell?)

	Chrissy attacks Blood Wolf B!

* Chrissy dashes at the Blood Wolf, leaping up with her knee as it contacts 
  with his jaw, and then driving her elbow into the doubled over back of the 
	punk.

	First attack... 37 damage!
	Second attack...  37 damage!
	Third attack...  Miss!

* Marcus walks up to group following Galen.

===ROUND 2===

Chrissy: "How about I take you to the school of hard knocks, huh?"
* Samantha hmms and looks at the package at her feet, wondering if these gang 
  bashers are stupid enough to fall for distractions...
* Galen puts the talismans in a row by crossing his arms in front of his chest 
  and abdomen.  The talismans then begin to glow, as he prepares to amplify his 
  own magic power.
Yuuwaku: "But I will not rush so quickly into death."
Galen: "You'd better not, kid."

	Samantha casts Quickslash on Crip Keeper A!

Galen: "We'll need all the help we can get."
* Samantha begins to draw her sword, but a split second later her target reels 
  backwards from a well-placed sword strike!  Samantha finishes drawing her 
	sword, only to replace it in her scabbard with a circular motion as her 
	target is laid flat on the ground!
Galen: "Good strike, miss."

	Crip Keeper A suffers 31 damage!

Samantha: "Thanks, Tall Dark and Mysterious!"

	Yuuwaku uses an Herb on himself...  50 HP restored!

* Kodah dashes forward again, his whole body turning to land a powerful kick 
  follows up with another strike from his staff!

* Kodah leaps back to the group.

	Jan attacks Blood Wolf B!

* Yuuwaku returns to a more offensive stance, now that he is healed.

	First attack...  Critical hit!  41 damage!
	Blood Wolf B is dead!

* Jan turns to attack the next one.

Chrissy: "Well that will sure leave a mark..."
* Galen closes his eyes and concentrates as the talismans begin to glow.  He 
  then starts to word the spell.  "Powers of the mystical realm, grant me all 
  the power you possess."

	Blood Wolf C casts Howl on Galen!
	Blood Wolf C howls at the magician, sending powerful waves of sound at him...

* Galen prepares his magical defenses against the attack... hoping they do some 
  good.
* Chrissy looks over her shoulder to the dark and mysterious mage. "Stop 
  mumbling to yourself and cover your ears..." ^^

* Yuuwaku frowns slightly...

	Crip Keeper A attacks Samantha!

* Samantha raises her dinky little shield to block the attack!

* Kodah snarls, trying to block the attack!

Chrissy: "You actually shop at that hole?  That stuff breaks after two days!"
* Yuuwaku steps over towards Samantha.
Yuuwaku: "Are you alright?"

Kodah: *growl* "I'll be fine."

	Crip Keeper D attacks Marcus!

Samantha: ^^; "I uh... don't have that much money ma'am."
* Chrissy tries to evade the Crip Keeper, a shot grazing her.  "Oh, like I'm 
  scared of that."
* Samantha blinks at Yuu, "Oh... uh... I'll be okay. :) Thank you."

	Marcus is hit for 6 damage.

Chrissy: *voice* "... Synchronization is complete.  Bio-enhancement links are 
  within usable parameters, Miss Vulcan."
* Yuuwaku gestures towards the Crip Keeper A with his sword.
Kodah: .o O (Calm, stay calm...)

	Chrissy casts Blur Field on Yuuwaku!

Samantha: "Yeah, I know Mister...  I should have been expecting that.  I 
  attacked him.  Don't worry about me, okay? :) You be careful!"
Yuuwaku: "Do you think we should both try to hit him or will everyone else do 
  so?"

	Yuuwaku's Dod% up 2!

Galen: "You all be careful.  I don't know any healing spells yet."
* Chrissy points at Yuuwaku, as a strange distortion begins to occur in his 
  general area..."
* Yuuwaku looks around him.
* Samantha hmms...  "They seem to be pretty strong with their guns...  The 
  wolves seem a bit weaker.  If you're up to it, we can work together.
  Mister." :)
Yuuwaku: "Nani?" O_o
Chrissy: "Dante, engage optical warp field around the whiny honor boy..." ^^
* Marcus, a little peeved now, focuses his gaze on one of the Crip Keepers.
Galen: "We'll try something after I finish my spell, Samantha, okay?"
Galen: "I just hope these things have an astral presence..."
* Samantha nods, "Okay."

	Marcus casts Mind Bend on Crip Keeper A!"

Yuuwaku: "Ahh... hopefully he will kill it."

	Crip Keeper A bends like a spoon and suffers 18 damage...

* Chrissy smiles once to Yuuwaku, as everything seems to be working.  "Why the 
  surprised face...?  It's the latest technology."

	Galen casts Concentrate!

* Galen surrounds himself in an aura of pure magical power.  "Concentrate!"
Yuuwaku: "Oh, you did this?  Thank you... but... what is it?" ^_^;

	Galen's Wis up 8!

Chrissy: "I'll be happy to explain when I finish busting a few heads, okay? 
  It's pure genius!"
* Yuuwaku nods to Chrissy.
Yuuwaku: "I have confidence we will make quick work of them."
Galen: "Samantha, try a blade attack.  I'll try my best to give you a bit of a 
  boost with an astral spell."
Yuuwaku: "... I hope this works..."
* Galen reaches in his pack.  "I doubt anyone here has a healing spell, so 
  I'll have to use this."
* Yuuwaku sheaths his sword fluidly and concentrates, muttering a mantra softly 
  to himself.

	Yuuwaku casts Thunder Bolt on Crip Keeper B!
	Crip Keeper B is shocked for 17 damage.

* Chrissy cracks her knuckles and looks to the Crip Keepers.
* Yuuwaku frowns.
* Yuuwaku draws his sword again.

	Kodah attacks Blood Wolf C!

* Kodah charges the Wolf, feints left, then makes an overhead strike followed 
  by a quick jab to the face!
Yuuwaku: "Blade may work better..."

	First attack...  23 damage!
	Second attack...  20 damage!

* Kodah dashes back to the group.

	Samantha attacks Blood Wolf C!
	First attack...  33 damage.

Chrissy: "I was never much for magic...  Call me a simpleton all you want, but 
  there's nothing like the direct approach." ^^
* Samantha grrs as she can't get in close enough to the back row enemies, but 
  manages to squeak in an attack on the Blood Wolf!

	Second attack...  30 damage!
	Jan attacks Blood Wolf C!

Jan: "Magic has its uses...  But like everything else there is a limitation."
* Samantha slashes downwards, and quickly steps back!

	First attack...  19 damage.

* Jan snaps a few shurikens at the wolf.
Marcus: "I prefer to work in a more subtle medium than magic."
Kodah: "Can we dispense with the philosophy until we're not having holes 
  punched into our bodies?"

	Second attack...  19 damage!  Blood Wolf C is dead.  The back row of Crip 
	Keepers has no blockers.
	Crip Keeper A attacks Jan.
	
Galen: "Well, then leave the spell slinging to me, okay?"
* Jan grimaces.

	Jan is hit for 7 damage.

* Chrissy looks to Kodah.  "Good plan... I like you." ^_^
* Chrissy reaches to her wrist and rubs it once, as you hear a very audible 
  *click*.

	Crip Keeper B attacks Kodah.

* Yuuwaku moves a bit in Jan's direction

	Kodah is hit for 6 damage.

Yuuwaku: "Alright?"
* Kodah growls, as that one hurt a bit more.
* Galen forms a lance of spirit energy as he aims right for Crip Keeper A. "I 
  hope you have an astral presence, pal."

	Crip Keeper C attacks Yuuwaku!

Jan: "Not really... but I'll live."
Yuuwaku: "Kuso!!" O_o

	Yuuwaku parries with his Sakaba!

* Kodah reaches under his gi, and pulls back a blood-soaked hand.
* Yuuwaku defends as reflex, and miraculously manages to parry!

	Crip Keeper D casts HP Mug on Samantha!
	Crip Keeper D pounds on Samantha until she gives up some of her HP...

* Yuuwaku looks over at Kodah... then back at Jan.
Yuuwaku: "I have Herbs."

	Samantha loses 14 HP.  Crip Keeper D recovers 14 HP.
	Chrissy casts Piston Punch on Crip Keeper A!

* Samantha drops to one knee, "Ugh..."
Chrissy: "How about a little fuel injection!"
* Chrissy dashes at the Keepers, her fists moving at many times normal speed.

* Yuuwaku cringes.

	First attack...  37 damage!
	Second attack...  Critical hit!  74 damage!  Crip Keeper A is gone!
	Third attack on Crip Keeper B...  37 damage!

Galen: "Hopefully, my magic will do better after I pop this Herb."

* Yuuwaku marvels at Chrissy's many attacks.
* Kodah watches Chrissy in action, duly impressed.
Galen: "Woah... talk about laying the smack down."

* Chrissy hops back, and wipes her hands.

	Marcus casts Fear Gaze on Crip Keeper C.

Chrissy: "Sometimes I amaze even myself."

* Yuuwaku looks back and forth between Marcus and the fleeing Crip Keeper.
Yuuwaku: "Kowai..." o_o
* Chrissy looks to Yuuwaku. "Gesundheit?"
* Marcus pleased with himself, smiles.

	Galen uses an Herb on himself.
	50 HP restored.

Samantha: "Hmm..."
Galen: "Much better."
Yuuwaku: "I'm sorry. I said you were skilled." ^_^

Chrissy: "Oh.  Well... uhh... thanks!"
* Samantha rummages through her pack for something...
* Chrissy whisper to her odd necklace.  "Dante, open text file, comments.  Note 
  to make translator plugins."
Yuuwaku: "I think we can kill these without anyone else getting hurt."
* Galen aims the lance of spirit energy at Crip Keeper D.  "Hey, you," he says 
  to Marcus, "Do you think Spirit force attacks will hurt a human enemy?"
Yuuwaku: "At least.... any of us..."
Marcus: "I'm not well versed in the magical arts so I do not know."
Jan: "You go right ahead..."
* Jan pulls out an Herb.

	Yuuwaku attacks Crip Keeper B!

* Yuuwaku jumps at Crip Keeper B, slicing with the Sakaba.

	Kodah attacks Crip Keeper B!

* Yuuwaku hops back and relaxes his stance.
* Kodah lashes out at the Crip!

	Samantha uses an Herb on herself.  50 HP restored!

* Kodah returns to the group, leaving droplets of blood betraying his passing.
* Samantha munches on the magical restorative Herb!

	Jan uses an Herb on himself.  50 HP restored!
	Crip Keeper D attacks Galen!

Galen: "Aw cripes!"
* Yuuwaku takes stock of the party, noting Kodah's wounds.

	Galen is hit for 17 damage.
	Chrissy attacks Crip Keeper D!

* Yuuwaku sweatdrops as Galen gets hit.

Galen: "OWCH!  Hey, assh*le, that hurt!

	First attack...  38 damage.
	Second attack...  32 damage.

* Chrissy gives a good punch to his jaw, followed by a body blow.

	Third attack...  37 damage.
	Marcus takes aim carefully and attacks Crip Keeper D.

* Chrissy then finishes with a little standing drop kick, knocking the Keeper 
  back aways.

	Crip Keeper D is hit for 29 damage and is defeated!
	VICTORY!

* Marcus puts the gun back in his coat.
* Kodah hisses with pain as the adrenaline begins to wear off.

	3 Herbs won in combat.

* Galen causes the spirit lance to fade away, then drops to one knee from the 
  attack.
* Yuuwaku pulls a cloth from his belt and wipes his sword down before returning 
  it to its sheath.
* Jan places his shuriken back into their sleeves.

	12 XP, 28 MXP, and 1200 S won!

* Chrissy looks to Marcus. "Hey, I didn't know someone here was packing heat. 
  Nice shot."
Yuuwaku: "Who is hurt?"
Samantha: "Phew..."
* Samantha wipes a bit of sweat off her brow.
Galen: "I am... man, am I ever hurt."
* Kodah pushes his staff back into the nothingness from which he pulled it.
Jan: "I'm fine now."
Marcus: "Why thanks.  You did quite well too."

--The crowd is clearing, and there is a statue of Lucia near the stage...--

* Galen touches the statue.

	Galen has reached level 2!

Samantha: "Thanks everyone." ^^
* Kodah makes a beeline for the statue.

	Everyone recovers full HP/MP

* Samantha touches the statue.
* Yuuwaku watches everyone running towards the statue.
Yuuwaku: "..."
* Jan sinks into a chair.
Kodah: . o O (If only you knew where that power of yours was going)
Jan: "Man... things like this aren't supposed to happen here."
Marcus: "Damn, now I'll never find him."
* Samantha looks around, "... Are there any other party crashers?"
Chrissy: "No sweat, girl...  We showed them.  What's your name again?"
Yuuwaku: "Anou... is it proper etiquette to touch the statue after battle?"
Kodah: "Things like this always happen.  It's the way of the world."
Galen: "I hope not, Samantha.  That was tough enough."
Samantha: "Samantha Reed.... and you're Chrissy...  Right?" ^^
Galen: "It's proper, Mr. Swordsman."
* Jan shrugs at Kodah's words.

	Galen jumps up to level 3. 

Galen: "Believe me, we needed that bit of healing."
Marcus: "It's not just proper, its necessary."
* Yuuwaku shrugs and walks over to tentatively touch the statue of Lucia.
Chrissy: "Yep, Chrissy Vulcan.  Engineer extraordinare and grease monkey to 
  Blue Dragon Tech." ;)
Samantha: ^^ "I work at the Meribia Greenhouses....  In Meribia, obviously..."
Galen: "I'd rather not say why I'm here."
* Chrissy looks around to the area, to see if anymore punks are making 
  trouble."
* Samantha reaches into her package and pulls out a mango.
* Kodah checks to see who else is causing problems.
Chrissy: "It's really weird to see them crash a festival where the heroes are 
  though.  Wonder what they were smoking?"
Kodah: "..."
Samantha: "Something very strong, apparently."
Yuuwaku: "Is everyone alright?"
Galen: "Probably something worse than Acapulco gold, that much is certain."
Galen: "Fine right now."
* Yuuwaku looks confused.
* Chrissy picks up her soda.
Samantha: "I'm fine, Mister... uh..."

	Galen's new stats: HP up 4, MP up 9, Atk up 3, Def up 3, Wis up 9, MgD up 6, 
	Hit% up 2, Dod% up 6, Rea up 3

Kodah: "... I'm fine."
* Jan looks around to see where said heroes had gone.  Hopefully to help the 
  wounded."
* Yuuwaku blinks.
Marcus: "More than likely, they were trying to create a diversion of some 
  sort."

Yuuwaku: "My name is Yuuwaku.  It is a pleasure to meet you."
* Yuuwaku bows to the group.
Samantha: "Yuuwakuuu?  I pronounced that right?"
Yuuwaku: "Sort of." ^_^;
Chrissy: "You waco?" ^^;
Samantha: ^^; "Ah, I'm sorry!"
Galen: "Hey, you with the gun."
* Yuuwaku shrugs.
Galen: "What did that Neo Pharosian say to you?"
Yuuwaku: "I've only heard two other people pronounce it."
Yuuwaku: "I don't know if there is really a right way."
* Chrissy blinks...."
Marcus: "So that is the name of the group he was talking about."
* Kodah looks around glumly at the havok, knowing that he's going to have to 
  help clean this up.
Galen: "Yes."
* Samantha reaches into her bag and holds out an apricot, ^^ "You hungry, 
  Yuuwaku?  I had a package to deliver but it was a prank call... unless you 
  all know an I.P. Freely." ;)
Chrissy: "What did you say the name of that group was?"
Galen: "They were responsible for the Nepharic War over 2000 years ago."
* Yuuwaku accepts the apricot and bows again.
Marcus: "He asked me to join them, I said no.  Now I'm glad I did."
Yuuwaku: "Arigatou gozaimashita." ^_^
* Kodah's ears perk at Galen's words.
* Samantha gives Yuuwaku the fruit with a smile. :)
Galen: "It's just a hunch, or you could say a theory, but I think the Neos are 
  trying to gain power again... for what reason, I can't guess."
* Jan takes an Herb and leaves the rest for the other party members.
Kodah: "What other reasons do they need other than 'They can'?"
* Galen grabs an Herb.
Chrissy: "Woah.... you're not joking with me?"
Marcus: "Oh well, it is not my affair.  I have other business in town."
Yuuwaku: "They should farm instead."
Samantha: "... Do you read the National Enquirer, Galen? That's a pretty broad 
  statement..."
Galen: "All I read are books of ancient legend, and magic, Samantha.  But I do 
  observe, and am well versed in history."
Samantha: "I'd really hate for you to be wrong... then again...  Hmm.  Perhaps 
  it IS better to be wrong with something like that." :|
* Marcus looks at the group, "Oh, please forgive me, my name is Marcus 
  Alderan."
* Kodah hrmphs, and watches the situation being resolved in the distance.
Samantha: "Think we should go help the wounded too?"
* Galen stretches his hand out to Marcus. "Galen Lightsbane," he introduces 
  himself.
Yuuwaku: "You know history?"
* Jan gets up.  "Good idea.  By the way, I'm Jan."
* Marcus takes his hand, "It is good to meet somebody as strong willed as you.  
  There are so few people with that trait around."
Galen: "let the heroes deal with that, Sam.  Right now, I'm more concerned with 
  what these punks may be concealing with their attack."
* Chrissy dismisses a thought in the back of her mind.  "I'm a little 
  aficionado of the old ages, of the time of Pharos and everything.  But that 
  name will always be bad news."
Galen: "And yes, Yuuwaku, I know my history.  It was one of the things I read 
  up on quite a lot.  The Neo Pharosians have always been bad news."
Yuuwaku: "Maybe... you could teach me a little?" ^^;
Yuuwaku: "I don't know much about history..."
Samantha: ^^; "That's okay, Yuu...  Can I call you Yuu? I'm really bad at 
  math!" :)
* Jan ignores Galen and looks at Samantha. "Want to go help?"
* Kodah narrows his eyes as he notes Ares again, orchestrating efforts in the 
  distance.
Yuuwaku: "You may call me whatever you wish." ^_^
Samantha: "Yeah... nothing else to do here.  The concert is probably all but 
  canceled..."
Chrissy: "Yeah... sucks, don't it?" :/
Galen: "Not really.  The Grim Rapper isn't one of the better performers, in my 
  opinion, but I always did hate rap."
Marcus: "Rap should not even classify as a music."
Samantha: "It's just noise, yes..." :/
* Yuuwaku looks about.
Yuuwaku: "Are many people hurt?"
Chrissy: "Oh I hate him too.  I came here to see Rude Noise!  Though they 
  aren't doing that industrial punk sound anymore..." *wanders off a bit*
* Jan goes off to help the wounded, even if no one else in the group does.
Yuuwaku: "I still have some Herbs..."
* Samantha starts heading out to help the wounded, "You guys coming too?" ^^
Galen: "I'm going to check around... see if anyone else is hurt and see what I 
  can find out about those punks."
Galen: "may as well.  Let's go, Sam."

* Kodah notes the approach of the Dragonmaster, and fades towards the back of 
  the group.
* Marcus stares.
Eris: "We noticed the good... work... you've done here..."
* Samantha blushes a bit, "Er...Hello Dragonmaster Ares..." ^^
Marcus: . o (Citizens?)
* Ares smiles slightly.
Galen: .oO(I hope they didn't recognize me using black magic.)
Chrissy: "Hey, if it isn't Lucia's heroes themselves!  How's it going?"
Jan: "I don't know how good it was."
* Yuuwaku takes note of everyone's reactions and then turns to stare blankly at 
  Dragonmaster Ares.
Jan: "There are still a lot of injured people."
Enyo: "You did better than most...  Nearly everyone ran away."
Galen: "Hardly worth mentioning."
Eris: "Alicippe is taking care of them..."
Ares: "However, that brings us to why we came to see you..."
* Samantha looks puzzled.
* Chrissy grins. "I'm not paid to kick punks around, but hey, they crashed my 
  little R&R."
* Kodah raises an eyebrow.
Enyo: "How many of you have heard of the 'Neo Pharosians'?"
Galen: .oO(I hope they didn't recognize that venom spell I cast...  If they 
  did, I'm probably as good as toast.)
* Jan shrugs.
Galen: "I have.  According to my studies of history, they've always been bad 
  news."
Jan: "Name's familiar.  That's all I can say."
* Kodah pauses for a moment, then raises his hand.
Yuuwaku: ".... ....."
Marcus: "I haven't heard of them before today."
* Ares looks at Kodah, "Are you familiar with the name, sir?"
Galen: "Responsible for the arrival of Nephar and Shadowfall."
Chrissy: "Someone here mentioned them. Is there any truth to that?"
* Ares, Eris, and Enyo nods.
Kodah: "Vaguely."
* Samantha nods a bit, "Yes, I've heard about them...  But I don't know much 
  about them, to be honest..."
Galen: "Followers of Zachary Pharos..."
Eris: "They existed over 2500 years ago, during the time of the Nephar War, 
  sometimes also called the Neo Pharosian War."
* Marcus prods a bit at the heroes' minds.

Enyo: "Anyway, you may have heard that they recently reformed themselves after 
  all this time..."
* Yuuwaku smiles at the heroes apologetically.
Galen: "Yeah, I saw one of their numbers trying to recruit around here."
Eris: "Well, we have reason to believe they have a facility in the nearby city 
  of Tijuana..."
Galen: "Tijuana, Mexico?"
Enyo: "Exactly."
Samantha: "... Hmm.  Margaritas..." ^_^
Galen: "The only things there are marijuana fields and tequila distilleries."
Samantha: "... Er!"
* Samantha snaps to attention again.
Ares: "Anyway, we were wondering if you could do us a favor..."
Chrissy: "So, they really do have something going on?  And here they didn't 
  even ask me to join." ^^
Enyo: "They may not have gotten to you, yet..."
Galen: "consider yourself lucky, Chrissy."

Jan: "Gotten to us?"
Yuuwaku: "I am sorry if I do not understand all of what you are talking 
  about... but I will do my best to do whatever it is you would ask of me."

Eris: "For many months now, we've been trying to infiltrate their ranks, but 
  they someone have someone on the inside leaking the Church's information to 
  them."
Galen: "I doubt they'd want me."

Chrissy: "That right?  Maybe they haven't bugged Blue Dragon Tech yet..."
Eris: "I would like to ask you to go undercover with the Neo Pharosians..."
* Enyo nods.
Ares: "It is a matter of especially grave importance that you investigate this

Jan: "And do what?  What do you think they're doing?"
* Galen rolls his eyes. "Great... a sorcerer will really stand out there." :P

  to fire me...  I'm supposed to be back in Meribia soon... -_-;"
Marcus: "I have other matters I must attend to."
Yuuwaku: "I somehow doubt I will be able to be of much assistance to you in 
  this but..."
Enyo: "We'll take care of any problems you may have with it..."
Chrissy: "Well I have to get back to work tomorrow, but..."
Marcus: "The Church should handle its own problems."
Ares: "You see, 2500 years ago, before Kane was discovered to have been 
  resurrected, Pharos attempted to create an artificial Demonmaster, just like 
  he created artificial anti-heroes."
Yuuwaku: "I don't see why I would not be able to." ^_^
Ares: "We have reason to believe that he actually did finish this project, but 
  kept the Demonmaster cryo-frozen when Kane arrived."
Yuuwaku: "Oh!  I heard about the Demonmaster." ^_^
* Ares nods.
* Kodah listens carefully.
Chrissy: "Get outta here...  You think he's in deep freeze in that facility or 
  something?"
* Samantha pales a bit, "Ergh... O_o Now THAT is bad, if you're right..."
* Galen eyes Ares.  "In exchange for this, I need any intelligence information 
  you have on Raven Darkholme, okay?  Location, current readings on her power, 
  and any other information you have."
Samantha: "Just what the world needs... de-iced psychoes..."
Eris: "A group of archaeologists working for the guard near Zulan believes they

Enyo: "Unfortunately, sir, we have no information on this Darkholme person."
Marcus: "Not all experiences are worth having."
* Samantha winks at Chrissy. ^^
Galen: "Oh sure...  The one who wreaked havoc on Nota a while back... and you 
  know nothing about her... sure."
Enyo: "Oh, we have some basic information, but she keeps quite secretive..."
Samantha: "Well... if you can explain this somehow to my boss... I'll help 
  out."
Enyo: "Don't worry, it'll be taken care of."
Galen: "Okay...  I guess we're off to get a few margaritas and find out as much 
  as we can about the Neos then."
Eris: "I doubt anyone would object to someone taking time off to prevent the 
  resurrection of a Demonmaster."
* Chrissy smacks a fist once.  "Well hey, I've always wanted to see how Tijuana 
  looks this time of year.  Just convince my boss to gimme paid vacation." ;)
Jan: "And why should we do this other than it's of 'grave importance'?"
* Marcus is not sitting well with this.
* Yuuwaku looks to Chrissy, "Is Tijuana nice?"
Ares: "You aren't members of the Church.  It is highly unlikely that they'd 
  suspect you of working with us, despite the leak."
Chrissy: "Oh sure... you never see the tourism guides?"
Samantha: . o O ( ... But why won't they tell us more than "It's of grave 
  importance?"  Should I really do this?  I could get killed! O_o ... But then 
  again... no job is easy.  I almost got killed today too! O_o )
Jan: "But even so, we're not like you people.  We aren't trained or equipped 
  for this."
Enyo: "We just want you to find their headquarters in Tijuana.  I'll follow up 
  with the Guard once you locate it."
Marcus: "As I said before, I have other business to attend to here in San Diego.
  I have no intention of leaving until I have taken care of it and even then 
  why would I want to work for the Church?"
* Enyo holds out a small tracking device.
Chrissy: "Hey hey now...  I'm always equipped." ^^
Samantha: "... Uh... Sir?"
Eris: "Suit yourself.  If you want to be around when a Demonmaster destroys the 
  planet, go ahead."
Galen: "With the silver we got from that battle, we should be able to get 
  enough something better than what we have."
* Samantha looks to Marcus...
Samantha: "... This urgent business isn't to pick up a package, is it?" ^^;
* Enyo nods at Chrissy and puts the tracker away.
* Yuuwaku shrugs to Chrissy.
* Jan isn't so certain that a Demonmaster *will* destroy the planet.
Galen: "Well, it's worth checking out, anyway.  I'm up for it."
Marcus: "I really don't know."
Samantha: "A package of fruit?"
Jan: "We should at least receive some sort of compensation for this."
* Chrissy waves her hands.  "Hey, hey... seriously, I can't refuse your 
  offer... lemme see that tracker again?"
Samantha: ^^; "If you're really named I.P Freely, I will shoot myself."
Marcus: "No, this has nothing to do with fruit."
Samantha: "Oh good!"
Yuuwaku: "..."
Jan: "I don't like the idea of being picked up out of nowhere to do some sort 
  of 'special' task."
Ares: "I promise you that you will be rewarded appropriately."
Marcus: "Miss, think carefully about that name before you say it aloud again."
* Enyo hands the tracker to Chrissy.
Yuuwaku: "I think I will follow them.  I do not know enough about all of this 
  to be able to help you on my own."
Samantha: "Oh I already know ;) Trust me."
Samantha: "I find it amusing." ^^
Jan: "Appropriately isn't very specific, even coming from someone like you.  
  I'd like to know more specific terms."
Eris: "Sir, may I ask you what your business is in San Diego?"
Ares: "How does 50,000 S sound?"
Marcus: "I'm following a rumor . . . I really can't say more that that."
* Chrissy flips out a small pair of goggles, running it over in her hands."
Eris: "Many rumors have been linked to the Neo Pharosians..."
Galen: "Sounds like a winner to me."
Yuuwaku: "I desire no reward. Maybe some better armor though..."
Marcus: "Perhaps so."
* Jan considers that amount. "Is that per a person or for the group?"
Ares: "When you get your money, you can do with it as you please."
* Samantha boggle eyes, "That's a lot of silver..." O_o
Yuuwaku: "Oh, I suppose that is true."
Yuuwaku: "Is it really?"
Ares: "For the group, at the moment.  If you insist, I'm sure I could check 
  with the treasury to increase it to per person."
* Marcus looks at the rest of the group, "do any of you live here in San 
  Diego?"
Chrissy: "Hmm... silent tracer... this would be child's play to drop on those 
  guys."
Galen: "Actually, I'm from Vane... been studying at the sorcerer's guild here 
  for a couple of years."
Jan: . o O (Damn these guys are rich!)
Galen: "While Raven's been sorta quiet, of course."
Samantha: "I'm from Meribia... sorry..." ^^
Chrissy: "I live here, pal.  Whatcha need?"
Yuuwaku: "I suppose if I find no use for the money, I could find someone who 
  would need it more than me." ^_^
Galen: "Dunno how the Ausa's would take to my having learned the magic I know 
  now." :P
* Samantha looks needy!... er... ^^
Jan: "Hm.  I think the 50000 for the group will be fine.  I just wanted to be 
  sure."
* Ares nods.
* Marcus walks over to Chrissy, "Tell me, is there a place where fortune 
  tellers tend to reside?"
* Kodah considers all this.
* Samantha looks back to Kodah, "You never said where you're from, stranger."

* Kodah looks at Samantha, "I come from across the Atlantic. The name of the 
  town would probably mean nothing to you."
* Jan still seems rather distrustful...
Chrissy: "Uhh, afraid there's nothing like that here... but I think you'd 
  probably find some psychics in the smaller towns down south.  In fact, it'd 
  be right on our way over the border." ^^
* Yuuwaku moves away from the group a bit to sit down cross legged next to his 
  pack.  He brushes his bangs out of his eyes and watches them all.
Samantha: "Try me." ^^
Marcus: "Let me guess, I'd find some in Tijuana."
* Kodah sighs, "If you must pry, the town is called Xuiojue."
Samantha: "... Hmm.  You're right, I've never heard of it." ^^;
Yuuwaku: *to Kodah* "How do you spell that?"
* Chrissy chuckles.  "Beats me... but they love to sucker tourists, those 
  people."
Chrissy: "Anyhow..."
Marcus: "Oh bloody hell."
* Chrissy turns back to Enyo. "So we just get in the place as new recruits and 
  drop this baby at ground zero Pharos?" :)
* Kodah turns to Yuuwaku, "X, U, I, O, J, U, E."
* Ares, Eris, and Enyo sweat drop.
Enyo: "You don't even have to drop it...  Just push the button on it, and I'll 
  be right there."
* Marcus turns back to the heroes, "50,000 you say?"
Galen: "At least put it somewhere where it'll be well hidden, Chrissy."
Yuuwaku: "Aa... okay." ^_^
Chrissy: "Oh, I didn't see the teleportation circuit on it... hah.  And here 
  that's my job."
Ares: "Yes, 50,000."
Galen: "Well, let's get going."
Marcus: "Hmm, I could use some new photography equipment." o O(and it looks 
  like I need to go south anyway)
* Yuuwaku hops up and grabs the handle on his pack.
Chrissy: "For 50 grand though, you really must be serious.  I've got nothing to 
  lose either... though I am curious."
Samantha: "How are we gonna get there though...  It's a bit far to walk...  And 
  we could probably get some wheels, but big enough for all of us?" ^^
Galen: "Let's get moving then.  Get some margaritas, and find some Neos."
Chrissy: "Well, I could get you some wheels if you want..." ;)
Yuuwaku: "Like a motorbike?"
* Samantha cracks her knuckles, "Course, we could always take the bus..."
* Chrissy nods. "I dabble in a lot of equipment...  I have some friends at the 
  cycle shop."
Eris: "So, do you accept?"
Galen: "I'm game."
* Samantha ponders for a bit...
* Kodah considers the offer, then nods to Eris.
Jan: "All right.  When and where do we meet back with you and collect our 
  payment?"
Samantha: . o O ( ... They're up to something...  Why couldn't they just do it 
  themselves...  They're heroes...  But...  What the hell? )
Samantha: . o O ( Only one way to find out for sure... )
Samantha: "I'm in."
Chrissy: "How could I refuse?  This is going to be wild."
Enyo: "When I arrive, you can collect payment at our personnel carrier."
* Marcus thinks while looking at Samantha, "Of course they're up to something. 
  Only a fool wouldn't see it."
* Samantha blinks a bit, and looks at Marcus in a puzzled way. O_o
Galen: "Okay... just let us take the teleport station to Tijuana, and we'll 
  go."
Samantha: . o O ( He's staring at me funny. )
Chrissy: "Hey Galen...  I'm an engineer at the station.  If there was one going 
  there, I'd tell ya.  It's just a short hop, really."
Chrissy: "Oh hey... before I forget..."
* Chrissy pulls a small pad out of her pocket.  "One of my friends always 
  wanted you guys' autographs." ^^"
* Ares, Eris, and Enyo sweatdrop!
* Samantha sweatdrops at Chrissy. ^^;
Ares: "Very well, then..."
Galen: "Is this really the time?"
* Ares, Eris, and Enyo sign. :P
Marcus: "Can we get on with this?"
* Jan nods.
Jan: "Yes, let's get this out of the way."
Samantha: "Yeah, let's go." :)
Chrissy: "Thanks... wait till she hears I'm working for you.  Hoho..."

* Kodah heads for the lockers before going to the teleport station.
* Yuuwaku looks around at everyone.
Yuuwaku: "I've met people." ^_^
* Galen takes the southern road, off the fair grounds.
* Jan walks.
* Samantha gives a cute little smile at Yuu.
Samantha: . o O ( He's cute. ^^ )
* Kodah takes his belongings from storage and sets out for the station.
* Chrissy strides off to the parking lot.  "This is a big city.  It's a little 
  hard not to."
* Yuuwaku smiles and does a polite little bow to Samantha.
* Marcus look at Samantha again and thinks, "Hmm."

--As you walk, you hear the loud noise of someone playing a Vengaboys CD from a 
  car approaching you...--

Galen: "Oh cripes." :P
* Samantha tries her best to block out the STUPID OFFENDING NOISE. >_
* Chrissy blinks. o_O
* Jan gets confused.
* Kodah tries to ignore the noise as he walks.
Marcus: "What the hell is that?"
* Galen resists the urge to blast the CD with a Spirit Lance.
* Yuuwaku stares blatantly at the car producing the loud noise.

--A blue convertible pulls up next to you...  In the driver's seat is a girl 
  with teal-blue hair.  Next to her is one with a more royal-blue color of 
  hair.--

Driving Girl: "Where are you guys off to?"
* Yuuwaku bows to the two women in the car.
* Galen gives them a slight grin.  "Tijuana."
Samantha: "... Uh..." O_o
* Passenger Girl turns off the CD player.
Yuuwaku: "You have a car!" :D
Kodah: "..."
Driving Girl: "No way!  That's where we're heading!"
Jan: . o O (Are they trying to pick us up?)
Driving Girl: "By the way, my name's Tianna, and this is my friend Selene."
Selene: "Pleased to meet you."
Tianna: "If you guys want, I could give you a ride."
Galen: "Who am I to resist that kind of an offer?"
Yuuwaku: "I am Yuuwaku."
Samantha: "Uh... no offense ma'am, but I usually don't accept rides from 
  strangers..."
* Tianna winks flirtateously.
* Yuuwaku looks at Samantha.
Yuuwaku: "Why not?"
Jan: "Is that really all right?  It seems odd that you would invite us out of 
  the blue."
Samantha: "We barely know them!"
Marcus: "I would be honored to accept."
Galen: "I'm Galen.  Galen Lightsbane."
Yuuwaku: "But they seem so nice!"
Selene: "Trust me, Tianna's, umm, eccentric, but she's harmless."
Chrissy: "Hiya. I'm Chrissy. Nice set of wheels you two got there."
Marcus: "Marcus, Marcus Alderan."
Samantha: "Uh... guys?" ^^;;
* Samantha sighs. -_-;
Tianna: "I can sense things about people...  Trust me." :P

Yuuwaku: "And... I want to ride in a car..."
* Tianna looks at Samantha.  "And I can see great things for you!"

Galen: "Well, shall we get going?"

Tianna: "See that garage there?  Meet us there, and I'll get something bigger."

Yuuwaku: "I have nothing to fear in this world."
* Samantha notes that all the males in this new found group are guided by the 
  wondrous power of testostorone." :p
Selene: "I don't think we can fit ten people in this two-seater."
Chrissy: "Ah, that'd be swell... thanks!"
Marcus: "It would be fun trying."
Tianna: "See you there!"
* Tianna does a hole-shot as she speeds off to the garage.
* Kodah glares at the car as it speeds off.
* Galen heads for the garage.
* Marcus follows Galen.
Chrissy: "You get the feeling this day's having way too many coincidences?"
Kodah: . o O (Coincidence? I don't think so.)
* Chrissy walks off to the direction they sped off, to the garage.
Samantha: "Anyway, let's get going, I suppose..."
Kodah: "I think I'll walk."
Samantha: "You sure, Kodah?  It's a long way..."
Yuuwaku: "Are you walking alone?"
Kodah: "I'm used to walking."
Samantha: "... and if for some reason it's a bad situation, we may need your 
  muscle power to help us out." ;)
Samantha: "You swing a... mean stick."
* Samantha blushes.
Samantha: "That sounds wrong.  Anyway!"
Jan: "I'm not sure I want to travel with those two.  It just doesn't seem right 
  how they showed up like that."
Yuuwaku: "Are you feeling alright Samantha?  Your face is red."
* Kodah ehrms, "I think you all can handle a car trip without me."
Samantha: ^^; "I said something that'll embarrass me later, Yuu."
Yuuwaku: "I think Jan is walking too."
Chrissy: "Haha... your remind me of my friend Lisa.  Always making with the 
  pickup lines..."

Kodah: "I'll walk alone if I have to.  If not, then I won't.  It's that

Galen: "Now that is impressive."
Galen: "Blue Dragon Tech's new 3585 model land cruiser, right?"
Yuuwaku: "... I'll walk."
Samantha: "Expensive cars, those SUVs..." O_o
Marcus: "Wow, I've only been in the smaller models."
Tianna: "You bet!  Good thing I'm a higher-up in the company!"
Yuuwaku: "I need to focus and calm myself..."
Galen: "7.3 liter 8 cylinder engine.  Multi Port Fuel Injection."
Chrissy: "Geez, Tianna, not even my bosses let me drive one of these babies..."
Tianna: "Yep... except this baby runs on a newer non-polluting fuel we've been 
  developing."
Galen: "Hey, works for me."
Tianna: "It's a prototype."
* Samantha perks up a bit, "Really?  No ozone damage?  That's so cool!"
Galen: "I just learned all this from a car salesman a few days ago.  New model 
  year, and all."
* Tianna looks at Kodah and Yuuwaku.  "Are you two coming too?"
Marcus: "It's a work of art."
Samantha: "I think they're walking, Miss Tianna."
Tianna: "Why?"
Kodah: "No, we will walk, if it's all the same to you."
* Tianna looks all sad like and pouts.
* Yuuwaku nods once to Kodah.
* Chrissy walks over to the car.  "Non-polluting?  Hey, if it's not top secret 
  info, I'd love to gab away about it.  I work for Blue Dragon Tech myself. 
  Teleportations division."
Yuuwaku: "Perhaps I will have the pleasure of riding with you another time, 
 Tianna." ^_^
Tianna: "Okay...  It'll probably make the Neo Pharosians less nervous with a 
  smaller crowd."
* Galen then eyes Tianna, as if he sensed something.
Tianna: "Oops!  Gaa..."
* Samantha narrows her eyes, "Hey..."
* Marcus prods at Tianna's mind.
* Tianna mutters...  "You'd think I'm talking after that old ditz..."
* Kodah narrows his eyes at Tianna.
Samantha: "Who are you?"
* Yuuwaku bows to Tianna... Then notices everyone's funny looks and blinks 
  widely.
* Marcus looks confused for a second, "What are you?"
Tianna: "The name's Tianna McCool..."
* Tianna looks all embarrassed.
* Chrissy is looking over the vehicle absorbedly, and doesn't notice the quip 
  at first.
Tianna: "I'm an executive with Blue Dragon Technologies..."
* Tianna appears to be sweating a bit...
* Marcus decides not to press the issue.
* Galen starts to wonder about Tianna.
Selene: "Let's just go, Tianna...  We're wasting time, and the longer we stay 
  here the more dan--."
Chrissy: "Well... I'd say you're pretty damn cool for helping us out." ;)
* Tianna interrupts. "I know, Selene, I know...  Don't worry.  We can trust 
  these guys, I can sense it..."
* Marcus whispers to Galen, "Tianna is definitely more that she seems."
* Galen climbs in the land cruiser.
* Marcus gets in.
* Samantha hops in, more curious in coming along just to keep an eye on these 
  two.
* Jan doesn't like this.
Kodah: "..."
Samantha: . o O ( I'm in over my head.  Dammit. )
* Yuuwaku backs a bit towards Kodah.
* Galen whispers back to Marcus.  "Yes, she's got an astral presence stronger 
  than any human I've ever met.  She's definitely more than she seems."
Yuuwaku: "I would have a word with you while we are walking, if I may."
Kodah: "If you must."
Tianna: "Well, if you guys don't want to ride..."
* Jan glances at Kodah. "Not very talkative are you."
* Tianna tosses Kodah her car keys...  "You can borrow my convertible."
Kodah: "I doubt I would have little to say that would interest you."
* Kodah fumbles for the keys and nearly drops them.
* Chrissy thinks...
* Tianna looks at Kodah oddly for an instant, then shakes it off...
Yuuwaku: "I know so little about everything that it is hardly likely that you 
  will not be able to tell me something at least."
Kodah: "... Would it surprise you to know that I cannot drive?" ^^;
Samantha: "... I can.  You want me to drive you two?"
Chrissy: .o( I better be careful she doesn't find out about my little 
  prototype... ^^; )
Tianna: "It's got the latest Blue Dragon Technologies autopilot on it."
Jan: "Three."
Kodah: "Autopilot..."
Tianna: "Just tell it where you want to go and you're there."
Samantha: "Ah, sorry Jan." ^^;
* Marcus mutters, "Prototype?"
Jan: :P
* Kodah looks at Jan and Yuu, "What do you two think?"
Chrissy: "Geez, what don't you have tricked out, Tianna?"
* Yuuwaku looks a little uncomfortable.
* Jan shrugs. "I suppose we can take the car.  I'd like to short stop along 
  the way though."
Kodah: "All right.  Is that all right for you Yuuwaku?"
Chrissy: "Sorry... I was hypnotized by this marvel of technology!  All aboard 
  huh?"
Yuuwaku: "Yes, it's fine for me, I think."
Kodah: "We'll take the convertible then."
* Samantha sighs and rests her head in her hands. ^^
* Kodah heads over to it.
* Galen whispers to Marcus, "Is it just me, or do you sense something about 
  Tianna too?"
Tianna: "Are we all set to hit the road?"
* Kodah works on starting up the car.
Galen: "Let's go."
Samantha: "I think so!" ^^

--The convertible starts easily enough.--

Marcus: "I can't sense anything, that's the problem.
Kodah: "Hop in gentlemen."
* Yuuwaku gets in the car, dragging his pack in after him.
Galen: "I can sense her astral presence, which is stronger than any other human 
  that I've ever met... which has me thinking there's something more to her 
  than meets the eye."
* Jan sits in the back.
Kodah: "Okay... car, take us to the San Diego Teleport Station... please."
* Chrissy gets inside the company van without much fanfare, though she's still 
  gawking at it from the inside now. ^_^
Yuuwaku: "Isn't Samantha driving?"
Tianna's Car: "There is no teleport station in San Diego.  Closest is in 
  Tijuana."
Kodah: "Then take us there... cripes."
Jan: "No, the car has an autopilot."
Yuuwaku: "Oh." ^_^
* Marcus whispers to Galen, "I'll tell you one thing for certain, they are not 
  human."
Jan: "By the way, don't forget to put on your seatbelt."
* Samantha taps her fingers against the window." ^^:
Yuuwaku: "Aa, thank you."
* Kodah blinks, and fumbles for the seatbelt.
* Jan snaps himself in.
Galen: *whisper* "No joke.  No human has THAT strong of a presence on the 
  astral plane."
* Yuuwaku pulls out the strap... gets distracted by the way it gets pulled back 
  in..."

--The car only takes off once everyone is safely seated.--

* Tianna's Car takes off towards Tijuana at high speed. :P
* Kodah really hopes the car knows what its doing. ^^;
Tianna: "Are we ready to roll out?"
* Galen nods.
Samantha: "I think so!" ^^;
* Yuuwaku imitates Jan and Kodah and buckles his seatbelt.
* Tianna peels out. :P
* Marcus holds onto the "oh sh*t" bar.
Samantha: "Godddeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesss!" O_o
* Samantha also holds onto the "oh sh*t" bar!
* Tianna drives the SUV at about 130 MPH down the highway. :P
* Galen reaches for the "oh shot" bar too.
Tianna: "So, have any of you heard of the Neo Pharosians?"
Yuuwaku: "So why are all of you so suspicious of the hero people?"
* Galen is too busy praying to several deities not heard of since before 
  Zophar's first coming to hear Tianna.
* Samantha suddenly feels like she's going to lose all the fruit she ate... in 
  a messy way.
Selene: "Umm, Tianna, I think you should slow down..."
Tianna: "Spoilsport!  Oh, okay..."
* Tianna slows down to 80 MPH or so...
* Samantha lets out a breath. ^^:
Galen: "Oh thank you...."
* Marcus unpries his fingers from the "oh sh*t" bar.
Tianna: "Anyway, so have you guys heard of them?"
* Samantha doesn't. ^_^
Samantha: "Only a little, to be honest..."
* Chrissy looks a bit disappointed along with Tianna as the vehicle slows.
Galen: "By the nine hells, girl.  Where did you learn to drive?  Indianapolis?"
Marcus: "Today was the first time I heard of them."
Tianna: "I learned how to drive from an old friend that took me in as a kid..."
Galen: "Who was that?  Jeff Gordon?"
Tianna: "Umm, he's long since dead, sadly..."
Chrissy: "Well, I heard rumors, but never flat out recruitment drives going 
  around."
Marcus: "I'm sorry to hear that."
Tianna: "Well, guess what, I'm recruiting!  You guys interested?" :P
Tianna: "It's okay...  He passed on a long time ago..."
Chrissy: "But I already work for you!" ;)
Tianna: "Not just for BDT, but for the Neos...  They need good people, and I 
  think you qualify..."
Marcus: "And I bet you have a bridge to sell me as well."
Galen: "Not heard much... except from old history lessons... but you know how 
  those things are written."
Tianna: "Naaa..."
Tianna: "Well, trust me, these aren't the same old Neos..."
Samantha: "How so, Miss Tianna?"
Tianna: "They're not a cult anymore...  They're now a political movement to 
  overthrow the Church's rule..."
Chrissy: "Yeah, what is the deal with them anyway?"
Tianna: "However, they've been outlawed as being 'seditious' by the Church."

Tianna: "Naa...  They tired of that over 2000 years ago..."
Samantha: "Why do they consider the Church's rule bad, though?"
Samantha: "Something political, no doubt?"
* Chrissy leans back in her seat a bit.
Tianna: "Have you noticed how much control the Church has had over society?  
  They have secret police, news censors, you name it...  It's like living in a 
  fascist state..."
Galen: "Actually, I kinda wonder why the need for the so-called 'Heroes' in 
  this time anyway."
Tianna: "I have it on good authority that the 'Heroes' aren't all they seem."
Chrissy: "I know.... tell me about it..."
Galen: "I noticed.  I'm kinda leery of the Black Mage myself."
* Tianna nods.
Marcus: "Although I am not a fan of the Church by any means, I will not support 
  a group that is even remotely connected to the Neo Pharosians of the past."
Tianna: "Suit yourself..."
Galen: "She says she's the most powerful sorcerer in the world.  Yet, I wonder 
  where she draws that power from?"
Tianna: "However, take Selene here...  The Church has been trying to arrest her 
  for NO REASON for the past couple years."
Samantha: "I'm not sure I want to join either, Tianna, but I can at least look 
  at it..."
Selene: "Umm, Tianna...   Please..."
Samantha: "No reason?  There has to be a reason..."
* Tianna doesn't pay attention to Selene.  "If I had my way, I'd shut them down 
  once and for all!"
Tianna: "Well, it's a reason they won't tell us.  She's never committed a crime 
  or anything.  General Leo of the Church's Secret Police has been after her 
  for years now..."
Galen: "I kinda like to operate on my own, but I'll look at it, Tianna, okay?"
Chrissy: "That's the pits..."
* Selene sighs and nods.
Galen: "That's downright awful, Chrissy."
Selene: "Maybe it's my hair...  Not many people have this shade..."
Selene: "They probably think there's something wrong with me..."
* Selene almost breaks down into crying.
Chrissy: "Hey... I like the shade... don't go crying over it...."
Galen: "I don't know... but we can sure find out.  Okay?"
Samantha: "Hey, Selene... don't worry about it.  No one in this car is gonna 
  judge you on your hair." :)
* Chrissy offers Selene a tissue.
Tianna: "Well, give the Neos a chance.  I'm actually taking Selene there so 
  they can watch over her..."
Galen: "Yeah, especially me."
Selene: "Thanks..."
* Galen pushes his bone white locks out of his face.
Tianna: "I hope you don't mind if I end up stopping at the Neo facility in 
  Tijuana, do you?"
Galen: "Not one bit."
* Samantha quietly looks at the others. ^^
Tianna: "Great!"
* Galen looks at Samantha, then to Chrissy and Marcus.
Chrissy: "No arguments here." ^^;

--Soon, you enter the Tijuana city limits...--

Tianna: "Woo hoo!  Almost there..."
* Galen whispers to Chrissy.  "We need to talk when we stop."
* Tianna pulls the car over next to an old run-down church.
Tianna: "Here we are!"
Chrissy: "You know, that almost is ironic."
Samantha: "Bwah! O_o Oh... thank Goddess... out out... I'm so car sick!"
Galen: "Woah... the Neos are here?  I guess the church has you pretty much on 
  the run."
Tianna: "No kidding...  It's impossible to get them any funds with the Church 
  watching over all financial transactions."
* Chrissy looks to Galen. "Hmm...?  Sure."
* Galen pulls Chrissy to one side, away from the earshot of the others. 
  "Listen, I want to check this out before we do anything rash.  These may be 
  innocents in there.  Don't activate that damn machine till I know for sure 
  what's going on.  Got it?"

===MEANWHILE...===

Jan: "Because it seems wrong that the strong should have to ask those weaker 
  than them to help."
Yuuwaku: "Oh."
Yuuwaku: "Is that the only reason?"
Yuuwaku: "You seemed to dislike them even before that, judging by some comments 
  you made.. and the way Kodah reacted when they approached."
Kodah: "I have my reasons for being wary around those people."
Jan: "Well...  the Heroes have a lot of responsibilities.  The people look up
  to them.  And I just don't think that they always live up to the duties they 
  set themselves up to carry."
Jan: "They seem to want to be thought of as being very powerful, but they 
  aren't as strong as they make themselves out to be.  That's why they need 
  us."
Yuuwaku: "But why are you doing what they asked if you do not trust them?"
Jan: "Either that or there is another reason they want to use us, maybe to keep 
  their own appearance as being uninvolved."
Jan: "I want to see what they're up to."
Jan: "If they're hiding something, people may deserve to know what it is."
Yuuwaku: "That makes sense." ^_^
Yuuwaku: "Kodah has reasons for keeping secrets?"
Kodah: "A fair enough reason."
Kodah: "My reason...?"
* Kodah thinks for a moment
Kodah: "There's something very personal that I need to know.  But its not 
  something I can just go and ask someone about it or look it up in a book."
Yuuwaku: "Ah, then I will not pry. But I hope you find it, whatever it is you 
  need to know." ^_^
* Jan nods, though being in the back seat that probably goes unnoticed.
Kodah: "I hope this excursion will get me closer to where the answer is."
Kodah: "That is about as specific as I can get."
Yuuwaku: "Every moment brings us closer to death...."
* Yuuwaku smiles slightly and looks down at his hands.
Kodah: "You got a death wish or something?"
Yuuwaku: "We all must die."
Jan: "Hey... if you see a place where I can make a phone call, can you stop 
  the car?"
Jan: "You can talk about death and dying then."
* Kodah looks down at the console, "I'll try."
Kodah: "Hey, car. Stop at the nearest public phone."
Tianna's Car: "Yes, sir."
Yuuwaku: "A phone."
* Tianna's Car pulls over by a phone.
Yuuwaku: "I've never seen one."
Jan: "Thanks."
Tianna's Car: "You're welcome."
* Jan hops out and heads to the phone. He dials a number quickly and holds the 
  receiver to his ear.
* Yuuwaku watches with interest.
* Kodah waits patiently in the car.
* Jan begins talking quietly to the person on the other end, keeping on eye on 
  Yuuwaku and Kodah as he does.
* Jan then hangs up and returns to the car.
Jan: "Thanks again.  It's just something I didn't want to wait on."
Kodah: "Done?"
Jan: "Yeah."
Kodah: "All right car. Let's continue to Tijuana"
* Yuuwaku shifts in his seat.
Car: "Yes sir."

--In the distance, you can barely make out Tianna's SUV.--

Kodah: "There they are, up ahead"
Jan: "Yeah.  Looks like they got here a few minutes ahead of us."

--Within a few moments, the car pulls over next to the SUV.--

Kodah: "... So this is the place?"
Jan: "I guess so."

===BACK AT THE CHURCH...===

--Tianna's convertible, carrying Jan, Kodah, and Yuuwaku pulls up.--

* Chrissy is tugged away.  "Hey, cool down.  We've got time.  We have to do 
  that whole starry-eyed follower thing first anyway. I want to look around."
* Jan climbs out of the car.
Selene: "Thanks, Tianna."
* Marcus walks by Galen, "You two are beginning to look suspicious."
* Kodah steps out of the car, considering the destination.
Tianna: "Don't mention it, kiddo..."
* Yuuwaku tries to climb out of the car... but forgets to take off his seatbelt 
  first.
Yuuwaku: "Oof."
Kodah: "Seatbelt Yuu."
Tianna: "Anyway, I have some business to take care of on Lunar.  I'll see you 
  guys later."
* Tianna drives off.
Yuuwaku: ^_^;;
* Marcus walks over to the convertible, "Did you have a good trip, Yuuwaku?"
Jan: "So where do we go from here?"
Galen: "Okay... just remember, we don't want to endanger the lives of 
  innocents...  Okay?"
* Samantha walks out of the car, over to Yuu, and helps him out of the car.
  ^^;
Yuuwaku: "Hai!  Yes, I did." ^_^
* Yuuwaku drags his pack after him.
Selene: "This church is where the Neos have their facility..."
Kodah: "... Not much to show for their efforts."
* Chrissy nods, brushing Galen's seriousness off..."
Yuuwaku: "I feel very young here...  How old are all of you?"
Jan: "So we leave that tracking device here...?"
Galen: "Ms. Selene, tell me, are there a lot of people in hiding here?"
* Jan looks at other members of the party who might have had a better memory of 
  the instructions.
Selene: "I... don't know...  I'm just following Tianna's suggestions."
Kodah: "Supposedly, yes Jan."
Galen: "Cram it, Jan."
Selene: "Easy, everyone, please..."
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at Galen.
* Samantha sighs. ^^;
* Jan glares back at Galen.
Kodah: "Touchy..."
* Galen whispers to both Kodah and Jan.  "Look, cram it, guys.  There may be 
  more to this than that damn Dragonmaster lets on.  Let's check it out first, 
  then make our decision from there."
Jan: "You think I don't know that?" :P
Kodah: "... Duh."
Samantha: "C'mon you guys.  No bickering..."
Galen: "I don't completely trust that bastard anyway, so let's tread lightly."
Kodah: "Fine fine."
Yuuwaku: "Oh, you don't trust him and you don't like him.  Why?  Does everyone 
  feel this way?"
* Jan shrugs and moves a few steps away to see what the rest of the group 
  does..
Galen: .oO(Woah there, Galen.  You don't trust anyone completely...  What's 
  that matter?)

--The doors to the church are unlocked...--

Chrissy: "Roger.  We need to know this is the right place before I go calling 
  the cavalry." ;)
Kodah: "Sign of our times?"
* Galen walks into the church and looks around.
Yuuwaku: "And why send all of us...?"
* Samantha follows behind Galen...
Kodah: "'Cause we said yes."
* Chrissy advances into the church grounds, making sure to look non-chalant 
  about it.

--The church is just as run down on the inside...  In one corner, several Neos 
  are working on a strange mechanical plant-like device.  A tall, blonde woman 
  is overseeing everything.--
	
* Marcus walks into the church, "It's been a while since I've been in one of 
  these."
Kodah: . o O (Mechanical plants?)
* Jan hangs in the back, letting the others go in first.
Samantha: ". o O ( The plot thickens... )"
Chrissy: "Hello?"
Woman: "I hope things are going well with the thawing..."
Selene: "Electra!"
Woman: "Selene!  You finally made it!"
Kodah: "?"
Galen: .oO(Thawing?)
* Yuuwaku pads after Chrissy, "Mou!  Chrissy!  Wait!"
Worker: "Miss Electra, this thing is acting strangely..."
Chrissy: "Well, there's my answer." ^_^;
Electra: "Excuse me, Selene...  I have to look something over..."
Galen: "Wait a minute, Chrissy."
* Marcus tries to do a surface scan on some of workers hoping their minds 
  aren't protected.
* Kodah suddenly thinks of something, and glances over to Chrissy.
* Yuuwaku oohs and looks at the thawing.
* Chrissy glances aside.
* Electra walks over by the mechanical plant.
* Ambush 6000 begins shaking and clattering a bit.
* Galen eyes the thawing.
Yuuwaku: "Oh oh!  What do you think that is?  Huh?" :D
* Yuuwaku is acting considerably more energetic and childish.
Kodah: . o O (This won't end well...)
* Marcus shifts his gaze to the blond woman.
* Samantha wonders who is gonna set up the device, as it were... since she 
  doesn't have it. ^^:
Electra: "Sorry if I was rude.  My name is Electra, and I run this chapter of 
  the Neo Pharosians."
* Ambush 6000 raises a cylindrical silvery sphere from its top, and an 
  illuminated rectangle about twice its size slowly materializes into view 
  about ten feet away from it.
Galen: "It's okay."
* Jan looks at the thing warily.
Yuuwaku: "Electra is a very pretty name." ^_^
* Galen starts acting like he's exhausted.
Kodah: "... What is that?"
Electra: "I'd like to welcome you to our building."
* Ambush 6000 begins printing something in white lettering on the blue-grey 
  rectangle."
Electra: "Why, thank you."
Yuuwaku: "It suits you well!"
Ambush 6000: "PharosDOS 372.22.1"
Ambush 6000: "(c) 2050, PHAROS ELECTRONICS, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED"
Electra: "Oh, that?  It's an Ambush 6000.  An old device from 500 or so years 
  ago...  It was by a long-dead company called PharosCorp."
Chrissy: "Hey thanks!  I heard you guys were looking for members..."
Galen: "Pardon me, Miss.  It's been a long trip.  Is there any place where I 
  can rest for a while?"
Yuuwaku: "What does the 6000 stand for?"
Ambush 6000: "Testing primary RAM caches . . . . . . . . . . ."
* Galen eyes Marcus, giving him a look like he has a plan.
Electra: "Have a seat anywhere."
* Chrissy blinks. "... Hey, what is that you're working on?"
* Samantha quietly glances around.
* Galen walks over to one of the pews and sits down, motioning for Marcus to 
  join him.
Ambush 6000: "... Success!"
* Marcus sits down next to Galen, "I'll tell you this, none of these people 
  intend any evil."
* Chrissy stares.
Ambush 6000: "    Electronics Service Center for repair confirmation."
Yuuwaku: "You must be an incredibly capable woman to be heading a chapter of 
  the Neo Pharosians." ^_^
* Kodah watches the Ambush 6000 curiously.
Chrissy: "Fascinating!  It's a still working relic?"
Electra: "Why, thank you again...  Actually, I was assigned here by our leader, 
  but only temporarily."
Ambush 6000: ". . . . . Done."
Electra: "Apparently so!"
Galen: *whisper* "Look, I'm going to try a little astral projection to see 
  what's going on in the rest of this facility...  Don't let them know I'm 
  actually not here."
Chrissy: "Would you mind, Electra?  I'm Chrissy Vulcan.  I'm an ancient tech 
  aficionado!"
Ambush 6000: "Testing backup RAM caches . . . . . . . . . Done."
* Samantha sits down on one of the pews...
Electra: "Be my guest..."
Ambush 6000: "Memory tests complete."
Marcus: *whisper* "I'll try my best."
Yuuwaku: "What a strange machine.  It sounds like a computer."
Yuuwaku: "But it talks."
Ambush 6000: "* * * * * W A R N I N G ! * * * * *"
Ambush 6000: "Pre-initialization systems failure detected!"
Ambush 6000: "All settings have reverted to factory defaults!"
Ambush 6000: "Auto-maintenance initiating."
Ambush 6000: "Loading Ambush 6000 maintenance checklist..... Complete."
* Chrissy walks over to the Ambush, looking it over with the technicians."
* Galen closes his eyes as he relaxes his body to project his astral form to 
  the normal world.
Jan: "What...?"
Kodah: . o O (This definitely won't end well.)
Ambush 6000: "Mobility test running . . ."
* Jan thinks that warning didn't sounds good...
* Ambush 6000 does a complete 360-degree turn counterclockwise, pauses, then 
  turns clockwise.
* Ambush 6000 slowly shuffles in a circular path with a five-foot radius, 
  pauses, then quickly shuffles its way through the same path.
Ambush 6000: ". . . Mobility test complete.  No errors found."
Jan: "Umm... Electra... what exactly is that thing supposed to do?"
Kodah: "... We came here.... for this?"
Samantha: "... This is bizzare..."
Ambush 6000: "Testing defense mechanisms. . ."
* Galen's body goes limp as his astral projection takes place.  He scans the 
  entire place from the astral plane.
* Chrissy looks at it go. "Oh boy.  I suggest you duck or something." ^^
* Ambush 6000 raises and lowers its top half rapidly, in an imitation of a 
  chewing motion.
Yuuwaku: "Do you think it would bite?"
Yuuwaku: "I guess so."
Samantha: "... Probably, Yuu." ^_-
* Marcus quickly positions Galen so that he looks like he is sleeping.
* Ambush 6000 rapidly spins, turning its metal leaves into a series of deadly 
  spinning blades.
Samantha: "Whoa!" O_o
Ambush 6000: ". . . Lateral rotors functional."
Jan: O_o
* Yuuwaku leaves his pack near Galen and Marcus and tries to get a closer look 
  at the Ambush... but not too close!
Ambush 6000: "BIO-SAFE v.9 Sanitation Setup"
* Kodah backs away from the psychotic machine.
Samantha: "Yuu!  Whoa!  Step back!"
* Ambush 6000 quickly spews a jet of slightly-dusty air out of the middle of 
  its back.
Yuuwaku: "Daijoubu desu, Samantha-san." ^_^
* Samantha pulls Yuu back a bit, "^^ They're workin' on it...  Don't get too 
  close!"
Ambush 6000: "..... Cleaned and ready!"
* Galen finally snaps back awake as his astral body joins with his normal 
  form.
Ambush 6000: "Structural analysis complete.  All physical aspects within 
  acceptable parameters."
Yuuwaku: "It's only testing itself for normal functions."
* Chrissy remains close to it, observing the maintenance routines. "I'll be..."
Yuuwaku: "I don't think it's dangerous..."
Samantha: "Well, that's good..."
Galen: *whispers* "I guess I'll never get used to astral projection."
Ambush 6000: "Reading personality matrix .................... Mapping and I/O 
  tests return 0 errors."
Marcus: *whispers* "Did you find anything?"
Ambush 6000: "Testing thermal sensors . . . . ."
Yuuwaku: "I hope it doesn't have any errors."
Ambush 6000: "Current temperature is within habitability standards.  0 faulty 
  sensors detected."
Galen: *whispers* "No unfamiliar astral presences... but it was too cloudy down 
  below to tell."
Electra: "It was in remarkably good condition when we found it...  I believe it 
  was originally meant as some sort of protective pet..."
* Ambush 6000 makes various noises, as if it's rapidly going through the 
  channels of a radio, which gradually soften and eventually die down into 
  complete inaudibility.
Ambush 6000: "2-Way Radial Sound Processor diagnostics successfully completed."
Ambush 6000: "1234567890abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"
Galen: *whispers* "We'll have to gain their trust to gain access to that plant 
  down there.  Something's going on, but I don't know what that is they're 
	thawing."
* Ambush 6000 displays a large projection of a square filled with 
  randomly-colored dots, which slowly becomes smaller and smaller, until it is 
  barely visible.
* Ambush 6000 quickly returns the display to its previous size.
Ambush 6000: "Display diagnostics completed to .00000000000000000001mm 
  precision."
Kodah: "Is there a point to all this hullabaloo?"
Samantha: "... I'm getting dizzy." O_o
* Jan watches the odd contraption do its work.
Ambush 6000: "Reticulating splines. . . . ."
Chrissy: "It's just system diagnostics... it must have been dormant for
  ages..."
* Ambush 6000 emits a sultry voice saying the words, "Reticulating 
  *splines.....*"
Marcus: "Huh?"
* Samantha looks a bit uncomfy. ^^:
Galen: *whispers* "But the question is, how do we gain their trust?"
Ambush 6000: "Auto-maintenance complete!"
* Ambush 6000 emits a brief, melodic tone and the projected rectangle 
  vertically collapses into nothingness.
Ambush 6000: *rustle*
* Yuuwaku blinks.
Jan: "What does it do now?"
Electra: "I think we got it started up..."
Ambush 6000: *pant* *pant*
* Chrissy sweatdrops. ^^;
Yuuwaku: "It.... it's panting...." O_O
* Electra sweatdrops.
Samantha: *whispers* "I think it's horny."
Yuuwaku: "Like a puppy." :D
* Selene sweatdrops.
Kodah: "Oooooookay..."
* Ambush 6000 ambles about the room, making happy beeping noises and digitized 
  rustling sound effects as it does.
Chrissy: "Ambush 6000?  Hey wait..."
Electra: "Well, now that that's settled.  What brings the rest of you here with 
  Selene?"
* Galen sits up.  "Ms. Electra.  Would you mind showing us around your 
  facility?"
* Yuuwaku starts following the bush.
Electra: "There isn't much, just this floor and the bell tower."
Chrissy: "Wasn't there a creature on the Blue Star that looked like that?"
Galen: "I'm a sorcerer, Ms. Electra.  I'm looking for a sorceress named Raven 
  Darkholme."
Galen: "I was wondering if the Neo Pharosians may have heard anything of her."
Electra: "I've heard of her...  I haven't heard any news of her in ages, 
  though."
* Chrissy pokes the Ambush a few times.  "You have voice recognition?"

--Suddenly, klaxons go off coming from below the floor!--

* Samantha listens to Galen's conversation.
Samantha: "Grah!" O_o
* Ambush 6000 stops ambling and turns, ostensibly "facing" Yuuwaku.
Electra: "Oh no, not now!"
Galen: "What is it?"
* Electra, not thinking, opens a hidden trap door and climbs down into the 
  basement...
* Chrissy blinks as that was most decidedly NOT the Ambush 6000.
Galen: "Anything we can help with?"
Samantha: "... Follow her."
* Ambush 6000 raises and lowers its holo-projector rapidly in shock!
* Galen follows Electra.
Yuuwaku: "Come on Ambush!"
* Marcus follows.
* Ambush 6000 spins in a circle frantically!
Kodah: "..."
Jan: O_o
Yuuwaku: "You should come with us."
* Ambush 6000 rustles its way behind Yuu.
Yuuwaku: "It might not be safe here." ^_^
* Chrissy blinks as the bushy 'bot seems to take a liking to Yuu." ^^
* Yuuwaku shakes off his silliness.
* Samantha follows the others, heading down to the scary basement. ^^;
* Ambush 6000 shudders nervously as it moves.
* Yuuwaku grabs his bag and heads after Samantha.
* Jan follows after a brief moment of hesitation.
* Kodah follows the group.  The day has been weird enough already.  Why not go 
  for broke?
* Chrissy follows into the depths, fingering the tracer she was carrying.

--Flashing lights appear around some strange sparking machines...  The light 
  here is just as dim as on the upper floor.--
	
Ambush 6000: *rustle* *rustle* *pant* *clink* *beepbeep*
* Galen whispers to Marcus, "Listen to my thoughts, okay?"

--In the center of the machines is along, transparent cylindrical tube, the 
  outside partially covered with frost.  Inside, one can barely see the 
  silhouette of a person.--

Marcus: "What ever are you talking about?"
Kodah: "Is that it?"
Galen: O_o;
Jan: "Probably..."
Samantha: "Hmm..."

--Electra is standing by some of the technicians working on the machine.--

Chrissy: .o( Well I think that's our demonmaster... )
Electra: "Come on...  Start beating...  Don't die on me now..."
* Kodah stands behind Chrissy, "Psst..."
Jan: "What's going on?"
* Galen motions for Chrissy to wait.
* Jan walks over by Electra.
Kodah: *whispers* "Are you sure that thing isn't transmitting already?"
Ambush 6000: *grrrr* *rustle*
Electra: "Give it another shock...  We can't let her die...  Not when we've 
  come so close..."
* Yuuwaku pats the bush.
Marcus: "Her?"
* Varemi is dead in sleep, pale as a corpse.  Her eyes are closed comfortably 
  enough, although a bit disturbed, and her lips are frozen in a sapphire 
  pout.
Samantha: . o O ( ...Her? )
Yuuwaku: "Here... stay by my bag, it might be a bit safer."
Galen: "This is way too strange... though through her astral presence, I don't 
  sense any kind of malevolence."
* Chrissy whispers.  "It could be, but the button is what'll summon the Enyo 
  directly..."
* Ambush 6000 shakes its top half apprehensively and slowly ambles towards the 
  bag.
Kodah: . o O (Somehow I don't think this is what Ares and co. are expecting.)
* Yuuwaku blinks as he notices the frozen girl.

--More sparks start emanating from the machinery...--

Technician: "Electra, we have a heartbeat...  I think she may be coming
  to..."
Samantha: *whispers* "... So what do we do, everyone?  Go with the plan, 
  or...?"
* Chrissy takes a few steps forward, the mechanic in her taking over.
* Jan is amazed they have this machinery down here at all.
* Electra wipes her brow with a little relief.
Yuuwaku: "Oh... it's so beautiful... but so strange...."
* Ambush 6000 clatters its top half even more.

--The frost on the tube slowly starts to melt...--

Samantha: "You can say that again, Yuu... this is way beyond me..."
* Varemi's lips part...
* Varemi breathes lightly, in and out.  Her hair moves a little with each chest 
  heaving, long and an exotic shade of lavender. The flowing locks shimmer 
  dimly in the obscurity of the poor lighting.
Electra: "She's alive!"
Galen: "I really don't sense anything violent about her at all."
* Yuuwaku takes a few steps forward without really being aware of it.

--After several minutes, the frost outside the tube has completely melted 
  away.--

* Galen whispers to Marcus, "How about you?"
* Samantha pulls Yuu back a bit, "Not yet, Yuu..."
Chrissy: "Wow..."
Yuuwaku: "Is she human?"
Kodah: "..."
Samantha: "I'm not sure..."

* Jan ponders.
Yuuwaku: "... Why was she frozen?"
* Varemi is now breathing, a strange girl, equally strange looking. her eyes 
  are closed, and she's very washed out in shades of purple, blue, and white.
* Ambush 6000 clinks its leaves and continues steadily rustling.
Samantha: "That I don't know either...  I wish I did..."
Galen: "Her spirit presence is that of a human, Yuu.  I have no reason to 
  believe she's not human."
Kodah: "So why throw her into an icebox?"
Yuuwaku: "But she looks so strange for a human..."
Jan: "Good question indeed."
Chrissy: "Amazing that someone was preserved all this time."
* Varemi is a very beautiful girl if you can get past her bizzare and unreal 
  proportions.... small figured and lithe."
Galen: "Maybe something that Pharos did many centuries ago, Kodah...  I 
  wouldn't put it past him."
Kodah: "..."
Selene: "Electra, what is this?"
Yuuwaku: "She must be a very important person."
* Ambush 6000 suddenly stops rustling and abruptly raises its holo-projector.
Samantha: "Shh..."
* Yuuwaku looks to the Ambush.
Galen: "I really can't sense anything malevolent in her astral form."
* Chrissy peers at the tube.  "I wonder if she's... well... genetically 
  engineered...  That's a really weird look..."
* Varemi suddenly looks less comfortable... .... ...  She does a small movement 
  with one of her hands.... and then hesitates.
* Electra turns towards Selene, knowing that everything is okay now.  "She's 
  someone who was put to cryo-sleep at least as long ago as the war with the 
	Magic Empress.  She may even be older than that."
Electra: "We think she may have even been a creation of Pharos himself."
* Kodah looses a little color in his face, but quickly recovers it.
Selene: "Pharos!?"
Electra: "Exactly, which is why we brought her here...  We couldn't let the 
  Church get their hands on her...  It could ruin all that we're working for."
* Ambush 6000 pants happily at hearing the name Pharos!
* Samantha narrows her eyes a bit.
Samantha: . o O ( Who to believe here... )
Yuuwaku: "It must be scary..."
* Varemi tenses... then relaxes.... and then her eyes, very slowly, open.  A 
  fascinating or terrible sight as the monotone harmony is disturbed by hazy, 
  half-opened and strikingly green eyes.
Jan: "What exactly is that?  That you're working for?"
Technician: "Look, she appears conscious!"
* Chrissy falls a little silent, wondering just what to do. The tracer is still 
  hidden in her pocket.
Electra: "Liberating the world from the Church.  That's why the Neos reformed."
* Galen looks directly at Varemi's eyes.
* Galen steps forward.
* Yuuwaku watches Varemi with a slightly pained expression.
* Kodah looks dubiously at Electra.
* Varemi has eyes inhumanly large and nearly glowing green eyes...  She makes a 
  sort of strange expression... maybe sour but very tired.
Yuuwaku: "Should we all be crowding her here?"
Galen: "Everyone step back."
Samantha: "Probably not..."
* Samantha does so.
* Yuuwaku goes to his pack and the bush.
Galen: "I'll go with Electra."
* Kodah stands away from the icebox.
Chrissy: "If she's really alive, I'd hate to think how cranky she will be after 
  a millenia long cold shower..." ^^
Ambush 6000: *clinkclink* *rustle*
* Varemi does not even get off her back before she frustratedly opens the 
  chamber with one experienced push.  Not sudden, but definitely an 
  understandable shock if it comes across as that.
* Jan can't help but feel there's more to the story...
Galen: "For some odd reason, her astral aura doesn't show one bit of malevolent 
  intent.  I want to see for myself.
* Varemi pushes herself up... her hair fountains over her shoulder and falls as 
  she props herself up like a marionette on strings.
* Varemi has no problem staring at all of you.
* Yuuwaku kneels next to the bush and watches, eyes filled with wonder.
Kodah: "So now what?"
* Galen walks up to Varemi, and offers his hand to help her up.
* Ambush 6000 adjusts its projector slightly.
* Chrissy stares back, a mix of in awe and a little, maybe, sympathy?
Samantha: "Galen... I don't know if you should..."
Galen: "Trust me, okay?"
* Samantha sighs, looking a bit sad.
* Samantha nods.
* Yuuwaku suddenly gets a realization.
* Varemi stares at the offering hand, eyes tired and narrowed.
Galen: "I wish to help you."
* Varemi turns away from it... and exits from the other side.
Marcus: "Ha."
* Galen looks directly at Varemi.
* Yuuwaku tilts his head to the side and his lips quirk into a little smile.
Yuuwaku: "Oh, I don't think I feel so bad anymore...."
* Varemi goes into a neat crouch after evacuating the chamber...... and then 
  stands up in a smooth, slow motion.
* Yuuwaku stands up and does a slight bow to Varemi.
Chrissy: "Galen, you should lay off her a minute... let her get her bearings."
Yuuwaku: "Gomen nasai, oneesan.  We've been talking about you as if you are not 
  here."
* Galen steps backwards a few steps.
* Varemi closes her head and shakes her head so her hair is behind her... and 
  rights herself... then rests her hand on the chamber for a moment.
* Kodah leans against a wall.
* Varemi puts a hand on her forehead and then opens them again after the 
  squint.
Galen: *whispers* "Must be some sort of hibernation sickness."
* Jan just watches and waits.  Is this the Demonmaster?  Maybe, maybe not.
* Chrissy waits, but manages a smile to Varemi.
Galen: .oO(I highly doubt she's a Demonmaster, but she's definitely 
  different.)
* Samantha does the same as Jan.  Keeping quiet and taking everything in. 
  Everything will be explained in time... right?
* Varemi then steadies herself and is now standing straight.  She has one hand 
  still on the chamber she was resting in and gives you all a half-lidded 
  stare.
* Yuuwaku meets her stare with no particular expression, just watching now that 
  he's done his little bit of politeness.
* Galen returns the look, but he tries to show her that he means her no harm.
* Kodah isn't particularly watching anything or anyone at this point, lost in 
  his own musings.
Chrissy: "I guess saying good morning is out of the question." ^^;
* Varemi makes a noise at that.  The first one.
* Varemi laughs.  "Hmm."
* Galen waves slightly.  "Hi."
Yuuwaku: "Can you talk?"
* Varemi looks over to everyone, not sure what kind of response to give but not 
  looking at all confused.
Yuuwaku: "I guess if you don't answer, I won't assume either way."
Kodah: . o O (Oh yes, this is going well.)
* Varemi waits for more questions... then nods to Yuuwaku.
Yuuwaku: "But if you can't talk, it would be better to make indication now, or 
  people will keep asking questions.
Varemi: "... Yes. .... And... ... 'Hi.'"
Samantha: "Hi Miss." ^^
* Kodah looks over when Varemi actually speaks.
* Yuuwaku tries to think of something else to ask...
* Varemi has a somewhat stony voice..... strange for her young face but also 
  matching it well.  It's hard to tell what age she's supposed to be.
Chrissy: "Hi there.... you feeling okay?"
Marcus: "Who are you?"
Varemi: "... I'd ask you the same."
Galen: "I am Galen Lightsbane.  A sorcerer."
* Galen bows slightly.
Marcus: "I know, that's why I asked first."
Samantha: "Samantha Reed..."
* Varemi is answering Marcus right now... not sure if Chrissy's question was 
  rhetorical.
Samantha: . o O ( Moron...shouldn't have said your name.. --; )
Chrissy: "I'm Chrissy Vulcan... engineer of Blue Dragon Tech."
Ambush 6000: *pant* *beepbopboop-beep* *pant*
Varemi: "... Varemi Lianna."
Chrissy: "Though er... Electra and her boys here are who revived you though."

Yuuwaku: "I'm Yuuwaku."
Marcus: "Marcus Alderan."
* Electra sighs with relief.
Varemi: "... Who woke me up?"
Selene: "My name is Selene."
* Yuuwaku points to the Ambush 6000, "Do you know the metal bush thing?"
Electra: "I did...  Well, under my orders, anyway."
* Galen points to Electra and her people.
* Kodah says nothing, figuring that this Varemi person will do things at her 
  own pace."
* Varemi looks at Electra.  "Why?"
* Ambush 6000 quickly lowers its projector.
* Varemi then grimaces at the word orders... delayed reaction... she's tired.
  ^^;
Electra: "We learned that you had been discovered by the Church of Lucia.  We 
  didn't know who or what you were, but we worried for your well-being, so we 
  brought you here and revived you."
Varemi: "We.  ..."
* Galen turns to the others and whispers.  "I doubt she's a Demonmaster, but 
  she is definitely different.  I doubt she's who the Church is looking for. 
  But if we call in the cavalry, they'll kill everyone in here, including her. 
  Don't push that button, Chrissy."
Electra: "I'm part of a group called the 'Neo Pharosians.'"
Varemi: "..."
* Yuuwaku gives Electra a suspicious look.
* Varemi's entire countenance immediately changes.
Electra: "Is something wrong?"
* Varemi now sharply narrows her eyes.
* Chrissy shakes her titanium haired head to Galen, obviously she agrees.
* Kodah notes the change with muted interest.
* Varemi is looking only at Electra.
Varemi: "... ...... *Pharosians*...."
Electra: "Don't worry, we have nothing to do with Pharos anymore.  We haven't 
  in centuries."
Galen: "Mainly because he's been dead for 2500 years."
* Yuuwaku places his hands lightly on his katana, one on the hilt, one on
  belt.
Varemi: "...  That makes no difference."
Electra: "Why?"
Chrissy: "Hey now, Pharos isn't on my Christmas card list anymore than 
  yours..."
Galen: "If my history lessons are correct, when Pharos was defeated by the 
  heroes of the original Neo Pharosian War, there was nothing left after Cleo 
  Maysic and Rand hit him with a Dragon Cross.  He's as good as dead."
Varemi: "..."
* Ambush 6000 droops its leaves.
Varemi: "What do you intend to do with me now."
Electra: "That's up to you...  Although I have to warn you that the Church of 
  Lucia is also looking for you."
Galen: "Well, if I'm not mistaken, the Church of Lucia will most likely be 
  looking for you.  I don't sense any malevolent tendencies about you, 
  personally.  My first thought would be to protect you from the Church."
* Yuuwaku sets his mouth in a grim line and steps forward.
Varemi: "... Why are they looking for me?"
Varemi: "... ... Nothing to do with Pharos..."
Yuuwaku: "I don't know what your intentions are... or about the Church..."
Varemi: "Then why do you keep the Neo Pharosian name?"
* Chrissy gulps once.
Yuuwaku: "But I will defend this girl."
* Samantha remains quiet, watching.
Galen: .oO(Personally, I also wouldn't put it past Pharos to be back from the 
  dead again.  I guess I can help her as much as possible.)
* Kodah raises an eyebrow at Yuu.
Electra: "Our leader chose it to help hide our identity."
* Yuuwaku looks to Electra.
Varemi: "... That's what the girl Pharos said."
Yuuwaku: "Saying that you want to help her... I don't know if I can trust 
  that."
Chrissy: .o( I'm holding these people's lives in my hand right now.  No 
  pressure or anything... yeesh >_ )
Jan: "Who's this leader you've mentioned before?"
Marcus: . o O(Why did I get involved in this?)
Electra: "I'm afraid I cannot reveal our leader's identity to anyone."
Galen: "Varemi, I'm going to offer you my assistance as your protector."
Kodah: "Aren't you all being a little presumptuous here?"
* Yuuwaku looks to Kodah.
Varemi: "I don't need a protector..."
Samantha: "I was just about to say..."
Kodah: "You're automatically assuming that she can't protect herself."
Yuuwaku: "If you do not need a protector, then why are you afraid?"
Varemi: "I need to know... what my options are...."
Varemi: "That's all."
Selene: "Look, the Church is after me as well...  They are very persistent and 
  you could use all the protection you can find."
* Jan wonders what he's gotten himself into...
Galen: "Kodah, the Church is after her, and I also wouldn't put it past Pharos 
  to be back from the dead again too.  I'll give you a good 10-1 odds that 
  there's something going on here that's bigger than all of us put together...
  and she's involved in it somehow."
Electra: "For now, probably hide... at least until the situation has cooled 
  off."
Varemi: "I'm... .. Why is it always Pharos.  If you have no connection to 
  Pharos, then how did you get ahold of me..."
* Yuuwaku makes a connection...
Marcus: "We are crowding this person too much.  From the left, you have people 
  pressuring her to go against the Church, from the right, you have people 
  swearing to protect her.  Give her some room."
Yuuwaku: "Is the Dragonmaster with the Church?"
Kodah: "Those voices in your head must be very loud Galen..."
* Jan has a feeling he's going to be making another pit stop relatively soon.
Electra: "The Church found you.  Our informants told us of this and we stole 
  your cryo-tube from them."
Chrissy: "Yuuwaku, Ares is like the hero of Lucia." ^^;
* Kodah stands up and leaves, quite done with this nonsense.
Yuuwaku: "So...?"

--As Kodah starts leaving, the sounds of fighting can be heard upstairs!--

* Jan blinks.
Varemi: "..."
Galen: "Oh cripes..."
Kodah: "... Crud..."
Varemi: "... And it starts again..."
* Ambush 6000 swivels its body 180 degrees.
* Chrissy looks up.
Yuuwaku: *to Varemi* "I assume you can fight?"

--The trap door opens...  Several members of Lucia's Guard descend into the 
  room.--

Samantha: "We've got company?  Wonderful..."
Lucia's Guard: "Everybody freeze!"
Kodah: "You're early."
Galen: "Not likely."
* Varemi groans, then starts to walk... nods over to Yuuwaku.
Jan: "Great..."
Chrissy: o_O
Ambush 6000: *rattle*

--Following soon after is the White Knight herself...--

* Varemi narrows her eyes and is prepared to bend all of their weapons.
Selene: "Enyo!"
Kodah: "You're very early"
Samantha: . o O ( Did anyone even HIT the button?  What the hell? O_o )
Chrissy: .o( Well so much for guilt... lala... ^^ )
Enyo: "What a pleasant surprise to find you here, Selene.  Ahh, and I see the 
  'Demonmaster' has been awakened."
* Galen surrounds his hand in black flames.  "HEED ME, BLACK FLAMES OF HADES! 
  RISE UP NOW FROM THE DEEPEST RECESSES OF THE PITS OF DARKNESS!"
Varemi: o O (Maybe I should hide. .... They've seen me already... ... damn.)
* Yuuwaku looks over to the bush and his bag.
Enyo: "I'd like to thank all of your for assistance.  You'll get a bonus for 
  helping capture the outlaw, Selene!"
Marcus: "Uggh, the drama."
Chrissy: "Hey, wait just a second here..."
* Ambush 6000 raises its projector and its top half in imitation of a shocked 
  expression.
Enyo: "Now, Varemi and Selene, if you'll come along peacefully..."
* Samantha groans, "Well, thanks for making me feel even more sh*tty..."
Enyo: "As for the rest of you, your reward is outside."
* Yuuwaku blinks.
Electra: "Reward!?  What reward!?"
* Galen goes to finish his spell.
Yuuwaku: "They're going to try to kill us."
* Jan has a bad feeling about this reward.
Kodah: "Outside huh?  In what form?"
* Jan starts to head outside though, saying nothing.
* Yuuwaku narrows his eyes.
Enyo: "Anyway, your services are no longer necessary.  Please step aside.  You 
  can collect your money from our personnel carrier."
Marcus: "I wouldn't do that Jan."
* Samantha follows Jan, more to to back him up in case anything goes wrong.
Varemi: "..."
* Galen balls his right hand, still enshrouded in black flames, into a fist. 
  The flames then form an inferno around his arm.
* Kodah follows quietly.
Jan: "Someone should take a look..."
* Chrissy looks torn. "Electra, I came in here bugged thinking you were 
  outlaws, but..."
Samantha: . o O ( ... This is going to end very badly... )
Electra: "What!?  Gaa..."
Marcus: "It's probably a trap.  Better to face the danger you know of rather 
  than the danger that might be."
Selene: "Chrissy!  How could you!?"
* Varemi narrows her eyes... then looks to the side... her fists clenched. 
  She's wearing gloves with large runes on them.
Yuuwaku: "This is just like in the story..."
Enyo: "Why aren't the rest of you moving?  I'm getting very impatient..."
Jan: "No one has to follow me!"
Yuuwaku: "With even a White Knight here too!"
Galen: "Because I have no intention of."
Jan: "I just have to see for myself."
Samantha: "I know, Jan... but just in case..."
Samantha: "I want to see, too."
* Enyo is between Jan, Samantha, and Kodah and the rest of the party.
Kodah: "Relax Jan.  See how this plays out first."
* Varemi frowns deeply and considers...  She opens her eyes normally now, 
  after narrowing her eyes as far as they'll go.  No half-lids, no glares.
Chrissy: "Enyo, you wanted me to help you find the group here, but tell me one 
  thing okay?"
Enyo: "Sure, what?"
Galen: "Now to finish that spell."
Chrissy: "Why do ya want Selene?"
Enyo: "She's been labeled by Lucia herself as a potential destroyer."
* Varemi faces this Enyo and glares at her bitterly.
Enyo: "As the White Knight, it's my duty to prevent any destroyers from coming 
  to power."
* Galen starts his spell once again, winds blowing his hair and cloak all over 
  the place, "Become my sword and decimate the fools who dare oppose me."
* Samantha narrows her eyes, "Her?  She seems pretty harmless to me, Miss 
  Enyo."
Enyo: "That's how they fool you..."
Enyo: "Don't worry, she will be executed and then the world shall be safe 
  again."
* Kodah looks around as he walks, taking very careful stock of the situation.
* Ambush 6000 collapses its body back into its standard form.
* Selene cowers in fear...
Chrissy: "What, just cause she's got some funky hairdo you think she's going to 
  destroy people?"
Samantha: "I would have thought, for someone who was labeled a destroyer once, 
  that Lucia would have some sympathy.  Something about this doesn't sit right 
  with me..."
Varemi: "You idiot."
Varemi: "I'm not harmless..."
Varemi: "But this girl's the only one doing anything offensive."
* Yuuwaku's ears twitch a little as he glares.
Varemi: "She just broke in and is calling me a destroyer."
Enyo: "I'm following my orders.  If you don't like it, you can take it up with 
  Lucia herself."
Galen: "Or you can take your orders to hell with you."
Marcus: "By what right does the goddess dictate human affairs?"
Enyo: "She is the ruler of these worlds, by the power of the Church of Lucia."
Samantha: "Enyo..."
Samantha: "Another question...  I don't think anyone ever hit that button...
  Why are you here so EARLY?"
Galen: .oO(I sure hope my black magic is strong enough to do the job... if not, 
  I still have one trick left up my sleeve.)
* Samantha waits a few moments for the answer...
* Ambush 6000 goes over to one of the guardsmen and proceeds to rustle 
  playfully against his leg.
Chrissy: "I don't know about everybody else, but, can you blame people for 
  wanting to go against the Church when you think like that?"
* Yuuwaku gets distracted by the Ambush. ^_^
* Kodah stands with Jan, "So, what does your instinct tell you?"
Enyo: "Now, if you could hurry up and get out of my way?  Otherwise, things 
  could get... dangerous."
* Galen doesn't move.
Samantha: "Oh?  Why is that?"
Jan: "I don't really trust anyone involved in this to be truthful.  And that's 
  a sad thing."
* Enyo draws her sword.
Jan: "I'm in over my head.  I thought following this would be of some use, but 
  this really isn't what I do."
Kodah: "But what does your instinct tell you to do?"
Enyo: "Because I'll make this dangerous!"
* Yuuwaku bites his lip and looks back and forth between Varemi and the
  Ambush.
Samantha: . o O ( I should really just be evil and grab the check and... aw 
  hell she's got a bigger sword than I do! O_O )
Jan: "Well... to protect Selene and Varemi, at least long enough that I know 
  what's going on."
Yuuwaku: "Well... Galen *did* say he was protecting her... and she does look 
  more capable than the mechanical bush..."
Samantha: "Hey!  There's no need!  We haven't even raised our weapons to you!"
Galen: "If that's your game, Enyo, then I hope you have some defense against 
  the black incantations of the high ancients."
Jan: "But when everyone else gets involved it gets complicated."
* Ambush 6000 passes the guard's leg and presses its leaves on it as if it were 
  a cat (that looked like a bush).
* Enyo smirks at Samantha's remark.
Samantha: "Galen, geez!  Think before you do things!"
Kodah: "So, what will you do?"
Samantha: "Why are you smirking at me?  Except for Galen here, we haven't done 
  ANYTHING."
* Yuuwaku turns to Varemi.
Varemi: "..."
Enyo: "You haven't left..."
Samantha: "And Galen is just more flash than anything." ^^;
Samantha: "... Why?  Are you afraid we'll see something we shouldn't?"
Enyo: "Perhaps...  It's not going to be pretty."
* Jan looks sharply Kodah.  I haven't decided just yet.  But one thing I'd like 
  to know is... why do you ask?"
Yuuwaku: "If you should need my assistance, which by the way you're acting, 
  seems unlikely, just uhh... wave me over.  I want to make sure they don't 
  hurt the little mecha-bush." ^_^;;
Chrissy: "I haven't left, because somehow I don't want this money that's 
  waiting outside.  You can keep it...  I like fixing stuff to earn it 
  anyway." ^^
* Ambush 6000 slowly moves in front of Enyo and then ambles over to Yuuwaku.
* Varemi uhm... nods to the strange boy.
Kodah: "Because my gut is telling me something very important is happening 
  here.  I cannot explain beyond that."
Marcus: "I can't leave.  I know these people to be trustworthy at the moment.  
  You, on the other hand, are a mystery."
Jan: "Same."
Samantha: "I agree with Chrissy.  I can't take your money... even though 
  running away to Tahiti with it is pretty damn tempting..."
* Yuuwaku kneels down and pats the bush, "Stay nearby... I want to make sure 
  everyone is safe but it could get dangerous."
Enyo: "Then don't take the money...  An extra 50,000S in the treasury isn't a 
  bad thing..."
Ambush 6000: *pantpant* *blip*
* Galen slams the flame enshrouded arm to the ground as the black flames of 
  Hades itself rise up all around Enyo.  "VENOM!"
* Yuuwaku considers.
* Enyo walks towards Selene...
Kodah: "So, I guess I'll see you inside then."
* Varemi stares blankly at Galen.
* Kodah heads back inside.
Yuuwaku: *to Ambush* "Do you think you'd mind holding my bag while we fight?"
  ^_^;;

	Enyo is hit by the spell for 1 damage.

* Chrissy winces as Galen attacks the White Hero.
* Jan takes out a shuriken and looks at it.
Enyo: "Impudent..."
* Samantha facepalms!
Varemi: ".... ..... You are... so...  ...." *Gives up*
* Ambush 6000 opens its "mouth."

	Enyo casts Knight Saber on Galen!

Enyo: "Taste the metal of my blade, infidel!"

	Galen is hit for 9999 damage and is defeated. :(

* Yuuwaku puts the handle of the bag in the bush's mouth.
* Galen is more than prepared for this.
* Galen is now more than dead...
Enyo: "Heh, who's next?"
* Varemi shakes a bit, but doesn't look disturbed.
* Samantha's eyes narrow.
* Yuuwaku watches Galen get obliterated. O_O
* Ambush 6000 swallows the bag!
Samantha: "You seem pretty damn bloodthirsty for a 'hero.'"
* Yuuwaku doesn't notice his bag being swallowed.
Varemi: "Arguably, so does he."
* Jan hears the sound of fighting...  He looks back towards the church, 
  wondering...
Enyo: "You haven't fought in a war, like I have...  You know not what you're 
  talking of..."
* Chrissy grabs Selene's hand.  "If BDT is looking out for you, then I'd much 
  rather help ya than some stuffy knight of Lucia."
* Kodah stands at the top of the stair, watching and listening.
* Yuuwaku swallows hard.

* Varemi frowns, not really wanting to die.
Kodah: "... Idiot."
Samantha: "... War?  Hah!  You would think someone like yourself would want to 
  prevent a war, and bloodshed!"
Enyo: "Silly child..."
Galen: -_-
Yuuwaku: "I'm so confused."
Enyo: "It was a quick and clean attack... and necessary to save billions of 
  lives."
Samantha: "I'm SILLY?  Yeah, probably, since you're much stronger than me and 
  will probably kill me in five minutes, but at least I don't murder people!"
Yuuwaku: "I don't want to die like *that*."
Enyo: "I take it you're not moving, then?"
* Samantha gulps... afraid, but doesn't budge, "No, not in good conscience..."
* Varemi decides insulting people won't make her live, so she inches closer to 
  the group.
* Jan ponders some more... makes his decision...
* Galen lies there, a bloody, unconscious mess.
Yuuwaku: "This is all so confusing...  Do you think we should sit down and have

  whole situation.
Enyo: "Hmph..."
* Chrissy looks to the door...
* Enyo approaches Selene and Varemi.
Yuuwaku: "I'm sure that we are likely to do something we will regret."
* Varemi takes a step back, sneering."
* Selene cowers, stepping back, sticking close to Varemi.
* Marcus tries to get into the minds of the guards behind Enyo.  Maybe he can 
  create a diversion.
Enyo: "No where to run, no where to hide..."
Yuuwaku: "Please..."
Galen: -_-

--The guards appear to have been trained in blocking telepaths.--

* Chrissy stands in front of the pair.  "Now wait just a minute."
* Jan pockets the check and waits.
Enyo: "You DARE to step in the path of the White Knight?"
* Varemi looks to see if she can make a sudden break for it or break through 
  walls..."
Yuuwaku: "She only stepped in front of you!"
* Enyo pushes Chrissy aside easily.
* Samantha growls a bit.
Chrissy: "Hey!"
Yuuwaku: "Don't push her!"
Enyo: "Of all the...  I guess I'll have to end this the hard way..."
* Samantha steps forward, having enough of this nonsense!

===BOSS COMBAT!  WHITE KNIGHT ENYO===

* Yuuwaku's eyes widen.
* Varemi watches every second for a moment when she can run. ... damn.
* Yuuwaku turns to Selene and Varemi.
* Samantha stops...
Yuuwaku: "I hope you two are more powerful than we..."

===ROUND 1===

Samantha: "...Well F*CK."
* Ambush 6000 ambles about the room randomly.

	Enyo chants...

* Yuuwaku swallows hard.
Samantha: "Here goes nothin'..."
* Galen is still very much unconscious.
* Yuuwaku pulls his katana and takes the proper fighting stance.
Marcus: "I should have left when I had the chance."
* Samantha raises her sword, and a thick, sinewy vine erupts from the ground. 
  Samantha swings her sword like a conductor's baton, and the vine obeys, 
  beating the target senseless!
* Enyo deftly blocks the vine with her blade.
Yuuwaku: "If I die here then so be it.... there will be no dishonor in this."
* Varemi antsilly looks for a break that she can run through of Enyo and her 
  guards.

	Yuuwaku casts Quickslash!

* Chrissy tries to get in Enyo's way again, but she still doesn't look like she 
  wants a fight.  "I'll have you know, someone up in my company thinks a lot 
  different than you guys, Enyo... and they do sign my paychecks..."

	Enyo suffers 1 damage...

* Yuuwaku runs at Enyo, trying to get her to move out of the way at least. ^^;
* Enyo ignores Chrissy.
Yuuwaku: "Damn...."

	Enyo casts White Knight's Defense!

Enyo: "White Knights of old, I summon your power to my aid!"

	Enyo is immune to all physical attacks!

* Ambush 6000 hops up and down, using its leaves to propel itself into the 
  air.
* Yuuwaku notices the hopping bush.

	Enyo attacks Chrissy!
	
Yuuwaku: "Leave the bush out of this!"
Samantha: "... Like you needed anymore defense... sheesh..."

	Chrissy is hit for 9999 damage as is defeated. :(

Samantha: "Chrissy!"

	Enyo attacks Samantha!
	Samantha is hit for 9999 damage and is defeated.
	Enyo attacks Marcus!
	Marcus is hit for 9999 damage and is defeated.
	Enyo attacks Yuuwaku!  Yuuwaku is hit for 9999 damage and is 
	defeated in a flurry of cherry blossoms... :(

* Samantha hits against the wall with a wet thud, a trail of blood following 
  her as she slides down the wall.
* Ambush 6000 flutters its leaves and tries to guard Yuuwaku futily.
* Chrissy takes the hit, sliding to the ground.  She has a grin on her face. 
  "You just proved it..."

* Enyo kicks the Ambush aside.
Yuuwaku: X_x
Enyo: "Now, Selene, Varemi..."
Varemi: "...."
Ambush 6000: *blipblip*
Yuuwaku: "Sensei..."
* Kodah continues to watch and listen.
* Ambush 6000 droops its leaves and shuffles to Yuuwaku's side.
Chrissy: [Dante] "Warning... life signs critical... attempting to 
  stabilize..."
* Jan does likewise.
* Chrissy grunts a few times, but she too wounded to get up, even despite a 
  little regen boost.
* Galen lies there lifeless.

--Suddenly, a bunch of people dressed in hooded cloaks rush into the room after 
  knocking out the guards!--

Enyo: "What the..."
* Yuuwaku is coughing up blood and getting glassy-eyed... yummy death.
* Varemi furrows her brow and bites the corner of her mouth. O_o

--They came in through the basement-level windows.--

* Kodah raises an eyebrow.

-A hooded man approaches Kodah and Jan.--

Jan: "And things just get more interesting..."
* Jan looks at the man.
Grim Rapper: "Excuse me, peep this sh*t!"
* Jan blinks.
* Kodah nudges Jan, and indicates for him to put up his hands as if he's been 
  captured.
* Grim Rapper tries to squeeze by between Jan and Kodah.
* Jan lets him through.  Doesn't see why not at this point.
Grim Rapper: "Homies, git de wounded, Selene, an' Varemi out of here, peep this 
  sh*t!"
Enyo: "What are you doing here?"
* Samantha bleeds, oh so silently, on the floor.
Grim Rapper: "Ah be de Grim Rapper, and I be here to lay the smack down on your 
  ass, beyotch, jus' like Orenthawl James!"
* Galen lies there, unconscious, wondering why he chose such a low level spell 
  such as Venom instead of learning something much more powerful first.

--The Grim Rapper's associates take care of the guards and lead everyone out 
  while the Rapper duels with Enyo.--

Jan: "I think the world has now officially gone insane."
* Chrissy's wound is rapidly healing, as she begins to come to as she's carried 
  out.  "What the bleeding... hell...?"
Kodah: "Roll with it, then run like hell"
Jan: "I'm inclined to do so."

--As the noises of the battle can be heard from the basement, you'll find a 
  waiting limousine outside the church, guarded by the Rapper's associates.--

* Ambush 6000 stays close to Yuuwaku and sproings up each step.
* Galen is still pretty much unconscious, being carried out like a sack of old 
  potatoes.
* Kodah leaves as if he's been captured.
* Yuuwaku is looking quite beautifully dramatic in death, with some cherry 
  blossoms stuck in his hair... *sniff*
Limo Driver: "All aboard!"
Varemi: "... *Enters*"
* Ambush 6000 tries bouncing into the limousine, but can't quite negotiate the 
  door.
* Jan follows Kodah, reluctantly.
* Limo Driver helps the Ambush get inside.
* Galen gets thrown into the limo, still pretty much out of it.
* Varemi sits on the fur and leather seats with the bloody bodies, not that 
  shake up considering.
* Selene enters.
Kodah: "... Well, this has been an unusual day."
Limo Driver: "Is that everyone?"

--Once everyone has entered the limo, the driver speeds off...--
