Technology House is a residential group at Brown University founded in the spring semester, 1995. Tech House consists of 42 members living together in an undergraduate dorm at Brown University. The group was formed to fill the void in opportunities for alternative housing at Brown, and as an environment in which scientific thought and ingenuity can flourish.

Tech House is not an official Brown University student group or acitivity constituted by the Undergraduate Council of Students, but rather an alternative housing unit approved by the Office of Residential Life and the Residential Council. As a result, Tech House receives no funding from the university, its ideals need not necessarily reflect those of the univeristy or its student body, and it is not allowed to have a communal post office box (?).

We are very excited to report that in this year, our third of existence, we have started making real home of the rooms that we have. Regular cleaning and maintenence is on our agenda, as well as cool projects. We are so excited about our new home that we are more than willing to share it with groups in need of a functional and cool space. For information, mail our president.
