Mary, the mother of Jesus, was buried in the Kidron Valley. Her tomb is watched over by Orthodox and Franciscan monks. The lighting in the chapel and the tomb itself is exceptionally poor, so I apologize for the quality of some of the photographs.

The tomb itself is in this very, very small room that you have to practically crawl into. The inside is so shaped that it's impossible to get it all in one photograph.
