Pictures!

Well, I've collected a few of my favorite pictures and have them here in a few groups.

Jewelry - I have a small collection of jewelry that fits under goth or faux celtic, etc.

Armor Ring - This is a flower design armor ring that fits on my middle finger and has two places to flex.

Griffon Ring - Also could be an eagle, but since griffons have a front half of an eagle... This fits over my entire middle finger, extending half an inch farther than the fingertip. It has three places to flex, but doesn't bend all the way.

Handflower Bracelet - This bracelet has a celtic knot in the middle and has a chain that connects to a ring of similar design. This is made of pewter so it bends easily for adjustment.

Another Handflower Bracelet - I bought this in Berkeley from a craftsman on Telegraph Ave. It's a pretty, simple bracelet with hematite beads.

Sonbal - This may be hard to explain... My sophomore year in Techhouse, an e-mail appeared on the silly-stuff mailing list for the house. Sonbal was duly noted, and after a brief discussion, seemingly forgotten. But in fall semester '00, some careful observers noted that it was being served again. We brought back proof.

Sonbal Boantjies - This endearing side dish is displayed in a gentle mound on a plate in the Ratty. Behind the Sonbal are a glass of Surge and a few sesame seed chicken strips.

Sambal Boontjies? - As there are apparently several ways to spell the name of this delightful dish, this ingredients card employs the alternative "Sambal Boontjies."

Sonbal Techhouse - I felt it was necessary to bring Techhouse and Sonbal together in an artful way... Ok, so maybe I didn't accomplish the artful part, but it's still cute.

Presidential Sambal - You're sick of the word. "Stop typing Sonbal!" you think to yourself. Aloud, might I add. But wait.. this is the last of the pictures with coconut green beans. Our esteemed Techhouse President Mike Plotz (Fall '00-Spring '01) poses with the written out Techhouse.

Me - Here are a couple pics of me.

Clara - Just an okay photo of me, standing in my kitchen at home.

Red Hair - This is a recent photo of me in which my hair looks nicely red highlighted. I dye my hair a tiny bit with Level 2 (24-wash) auburn for fun. The camera caught a lot more of it than you can usually see.

Amid Flames - Mmm. This was fun. At Javaspook '00 (annual Techhouse event featuring free coffee and baked goods with live bands), I got to participate in a side show held by our TH President Mike (right) and his friend Dan (left). They can juggle fire. The two of them took six clubs (only three are on fire because Mike only owns three fire clubs) and passed them back and forth with me standing in between. The clubs passed a couple inches in front and behind me. I kept my eyes open for most of it (well, except when they were first starting out), and they kept it up for a couple mins. It was really cool.
